The lead creature repeated itself and although its recital was in perfect basic it seemed that it had no real understanding of what it was saying. Was this something which had been passed down to him? After the confusion began to drift away from him Artorigas took the opportunity to review what had been said. Was it a prophecy, a warning, or just random gibberish that someone had planted within these corrupted creatures a century ago.

Although he understood little of what the creature said he knew that they had already come from the south, beyond the forest so there was nothing that way bar The Citadel. Artorigas even though he was not sure decided that even if these creatures would not allow him to take it easily he could no longer afford to wait around here.

Pulling more energy into himself the fire grew brighter and hotter and within a few short moments his entirety of his right arm, shoulder and chest was ablaze, The Force keeping the flames from burning his skin. With that the Sith Lord walked forward his eyes fixated upon the altar.

No answer came from her master. Malou's body was rotated southward, ready to begin the trek back, but her head remained in the direction of him and the creatures. She watched as he grew the fire in his hand until it began to travel up his arm and onto his chest. How it was not burning him, Malou did not know, but she did not see a pained expression on his face. His eyes seemed to be wholly focused on the altar within the creatures' camp. He made straight for it, and Malou secretly suspected whatever he was going to do might draw the ire of those who lived here.

Malou stayed where she was, but Artorgias would feel a subtle weight in the air around them as she prepared herself to defend him should he be charged by one of the creatures. Her left palm was empty and open by her side, while her right hovered inconspicuously over one of her sabers.

As he got closer to the shrine, it was easy for anyone to feel the tension which suddenly arrived in the air. Creatures which had been returning to their dens suddenly stopped to watch Artorgias, as if they feared what he might do next. But none of them moved towards him; not yet.

Malou was loyal, Artorigas was glad that he had found the young women back on Serenno. She had served him well and he made a point to make sure that she was always rewarded, he could not afford to loose her loyalty in the future. For that could and would only cause his cause to loose focus, momentum and progress. He could feel her presence around him though she was a distance away the threat of her presence combined with the fire engulfing a quarter of his body kept all of the creatures at bay.

At the foot of the altar Artorigas stopped, it was about five steps up to the summit, from here he could clearly see what was shinning, a blade, its dark surface glinting in the falling sun. Taking the first step he heard a few of those behind him shift there stance slightly, where they going to attack. He bade them no mind however, for if they made the stupid move Malou would remove there limbs before they got close.

Artorigas stood before the sword, it was laid clumsily upon a metal pedestal, bones and pieces of meet and old blood stains were all around the blade. Without thought for the ceremony or reverence these creatures probably held for the item he grabbed the blade with his lit hand. It felt good in his hand, the grip cold against the blue flames that warmed him. A darkness radiated from its centre, even within these few brief moments he could feel the history and death that surrounded its history.

With a smile he turned to face the village behind him, much to his surprise all the creatures were bowed on two knees there heads scraping the floor.

Though Artorgias did not see them bowed until he turned around, Malou had watched as one by one the creatures fell to their knees as he approached the shrine and grasped the sword. It was a strange, almost uncomfortable sight.

'What is the sword exactly?' It did not appear to be anything but a regular sword, though its blade was hugged tightly by the taint of the Dark Side. It looked positively ancient, but at the same time, it did not look brittle. The acolyte made a point to ask her master about it later.

Malou continued to stay where she was, still ready to attack if the creatures made any moves when he decided to make his way back.
