Force User Compatibility

Looking at some of the armor functions, I noticed that many of them stated that they were not Force-user compatible. I read the rules on this, and I have a question: how does this affect a character? Does it mean that the user's Force abilities are inhibited IC? Or does it just mean that Force sensitive characters can't use said functions? Thanks!

A Force-using character can't have an armor function on their armor that isn't Force-user compatible.

Got it. Can a non-trained, non-Force using Force-sensitive have a function like that?
