Hello have been reading around for a bit unless I missed something some where I was curious about force abilitie.I was wondering if it's self training under a npc Darth in a thread you make yourself or does someone on the site train you.I just didn't want to make a random thread and post a random Vader force choke lol. While I patiently Wait approval.

hello and welcome to the dark side btw. i'm not sure if you can say you were trained by a darth level npc. i've seen people trained by npcs but they were just normal sith in their bios for the most part. i believe it is up to the FL/AFL who reads your profile that agrees to its continuity. if you want a Darth to have trained your character i would check with either @Relent or @Prudence (idk who our other AFL(s) are since deviant stepped down)

Training under an NPC is fine. We have basically done away with IC training this TL. However you will need permission from Sith leadership to use a Darth in your character's backstory, as there are only ever 5 Darths at a time.

haha don't forget about our new AFL, @Gian Greydragon

As far as Darth, its an unfortunate no on the NPC Darth, as there are only 5 Darths to be allowed at any time, and they're all PC. It depends on when you're wanting to have this set. If you're wanting to add it to your backstory, perhaps years ago, then that's a maybe.

In this timeline you can start as a Sith, so you won't actually need training to know how to use the Force. Here is our guide to the Force.

Whazzaaaaap! Just saw this. First things first, welcome to the Dark Side, the cookies can be found on the table next to the torture chamber. One per customer until everyone's had their share.

Okay, got that out of my system.

As Prudence and Dara said above said above, it's a no on being trained by a Darth NPC, but, I happen to have a Darth, and if you'd like to do a training thread on one or a few Force powers (Say, intermediate Telekinesis abilities) I'd totally be down for that. PM me if you're interested in doing a thread like that.

Yeah, used to be, new members had to start as Padawan's or Acolytes, but now we can start as full fledged Sith/Jedi. And for the most part, it's all a matter of balance. You can have your character learn, just about anything not banned by site rules, but it wouldn't make sense for you to immediately be a master at Telekinesis and could fly using the Force. You could totally work your way up to it, but it's totally acceptable to have your character's powers grow through active roleplay.
