Force Light is banned, but not Waves of Darkness?

So if someone cant use Force Light....but someone can use Waves of Darkness....how to combat that if the only force power that can combat it is Force Light? O>O

Wookiee article doesn't say anything about Force Light negating it, but it does say Battle Mediatation does. Since it's a mental based attack, presumably it can be similarly resisted through willpower as well, since freeform tends to more or less inherently gut the effectiveness of mind-altering effects.

They must have changed it then cause last time I saw it used in a RP we had to find a Jedi with Force Light to combat at...other wise I was the only person running around in it like I cant seeeeeeeee

EDIT: MY BAD Dark Tendrils is when that is needed..I think
