The training chamber itself is the most elaborate you have seen on the Light of The Force thus far, surrounded by the statues of masters long passed, you begin to sense the gravity and importance of the training to come. The scorch marks on the walls signal to the more aware that knowledge does not come without a certain degree of danger. Each one of your steps echoes in the hall as you walk to great your fellow classmates and wait for those who have not yet arrived.

Adonia knelt down meditating in the center of the room, it had been only hours since her last class, they were young in the force and she did not go easy on them, but they showed great promise in there growing connection to the force. Here coming class would be a great deal more advanced in regards to initial skill, and Adonia calmed her mind and used the brief respite to strengthen her bond with he force. She would stay there motionless completely aware but detached from the physical world.

Loogo slithered through this vast and wonderous training room on the Light of the Force. Having had the pleasure of training on this massive vessel before, the Sluissi knew his way around. Although he was unaware that it had housed training rooms as grand as this. Had the Jedi Knight had legs, the echoes of his footsteps would have been bouncing off the walls. However, being a Sluissi, Loogo quietly slithered his long tail to the center.

Despite being a newly made Knight of the order, Loogo was still not above learning new aspects of the Force. and so when he heard that a fellow Knight, Adonia, would be giving lessons just before the final days of Coruscant, he had to take up the opportunity.

Reaching the center, he could see the female meditating quietly. His robes freshly pressed and the clean scent swayed in the wind that trailed behind him until he reached an abrupt stop.

"Greetingss Adonia. It is a pleassure to meet you. I am Knight Loogo Vssil."

The last time Kendra had set foot on the Light of the Force was when she'd just been taken in by Master Cameron. She thought of him as she moved through the corridor to her appointment, the way he trained her and the things he taught her. Without him, she wouldn't have made it to knighthood; it was his discipline that cultivated all the rest of her training, and truly brought her understanding of what it meant to be a Jedi.

Her leather-shod feet carried her quickly through the hall. With her hands folded behind her back, thumbs tucked idly into the leather utility belt that cinched her long green tunic, she looked disciplined and scholarly. But the saberstaff that hung in a slender leather sheath just behind her right hip, and its one-handed partner sheathed on her left, it was clear she was not just a scholar; she was a Sentinel, a warrior in the Force, and she needed every tactic she could find at her disposal.

When she learned of the Force Absorption class that was being offered, she was reluctant to sign up. It had been a year or two since she was on board the Light, but it had been even longer since she attended a class; still, this was a skill she wanted and needed, and so she decided it was worth 'going back to school' for.

Turning a corner to round into the training chamber, she took a glance around. It hadn't changed much since she and Master Cameron sparred here. Their bouts often became pretty intense-- had they contributed to the scorches on the walls? Kendra couldn't recall any specific instance, but it was certainly possible; she reflected on how their combat would take them all over the room, and occasionally they would have to stop to keep their dance from spilling into the halls.

Kendra missed him. She thought about Jay every day she woke up a Jedi Knight. At least she knew he would be proud of her.

Stepping confidently into the room, she rested her eyes on the woman meditating in the center of the circular floor. Jedi Knight Adonia Xylona, recognizable by the tribal tattoo on her face-- Kendra wasn't aware she'd be teaching the class. The two had never met, but Kendra had heard of her in that she was one of the few that was versed in Trakata, like Kendra was. Perhaps sometime the two of them could put some scorches of their own on those venerated walls.

Alongside her entered Knight Loogo Vsil, the only half-snake Jedi she'd ever heard of. Again, they had not met before, but Kendra had seen him here or there, and he wasn't the kind one could forget. She always considered talking to him, but was perhaps subconsciously worried she might unintentionally say something offensive to his kind as she was wont to do.

Affording her compatriots a polite nod and a bright smile, she quietly found her place in the room and knelt down not far from her fellow knight, sitting atop her knees with her palms on her thighs in her preferred meditation position. There Kendra remained, until the other minds that wished to learn were present as well and the class could begin.

Adonia continued to meditate as her students began to arrive, those that were there were strong with the force, sure could feel them as soon as they made the conscious decision to attend her class. Still she did not let this get in the way of her own practice, she had to be focused on her task, it took a great deal of trust to learn from anyone, and these three Jedi showed her great confidence by looking past rank. Fully focused on her goal Adonia was ready to rejoin the physical plane, with a sharp exhale she returned in a burst of force energy that pushed the dust around her on the floor away in a circle pattern. "Loogo Vssil, your reputation precedes you, congratulations on your knighthood, join me in meditation if you wish." She replied and greeted him her eyes still closed.

"Kendra Dan-Dover...you have been known to me for quite some time, I knew Master Cameron, it brought me great sorrow to feel his passing, a light not easily replaced, its an honor to teach one of his students, that alone is a feat, he did not just choose anyone." In truth a great many Jedi had been lost to the reckless hate of the Sith, Adonia herself lost three of her masters one before her eyes, it was a heavy burden that far to many young Jedi had to transcend. "I thank you both for coming, but in these trying times rank means little in terms of knowledge, I'm sure both of you could teach me a great deal." Adonia spoke still completely still, her eyes closed and heart heart finally speeding up to a normal bpm.

The multiple decks of the Light were always bustling with people, Jedi and not, but today they were broken by a blur of movement. A slightly pink blur.

"Curse this ship and its endless labyrinth!" Von spat as she hurtled through the halls, leaping and weaving through the constant flow of people and droids. She finally skidded to a halt just before a massive door slid open to allow her entrance into a massive training room. She'd never been in this one before. She saw the Sluissi Jedi, Loogo, who she had met briefly before, but did not recognize the others.

Quickly brushing her hair out of her face, Von took a deep calming breath before speaking.

"Hello, I'm Von Raythe, Padawan," the Zeltron-hybrid announced, only slightly flustered.

The class was in regards to a subject that she knew quite a lot about. Well, that wasn't entirely true. Tutaminis was second-nature to her; something that she did as easily as breathing. Still, a class on how it worked and the actual practice of it might give her a bit more control...something that Von desperately needed these days.

Kendra smiled at the compliment paid to her. As honored as the instructor may have been, Kendra was more honored to call herself a student of Jay Cameron. His final student. Sometimes she thought she could feel him in the folds of the Force, the way she used to when he would 'cloak' himself and challenge her to find him. Perhaps she could; she had become more attuned to the Force since his passing, and she'd heard of great Jedi in the past sensing the Force signature of those that had passed away. Or perhaps her grief was evident in her training. Like those that gave their lives against the Sith, the grief, too, would pass.

"You're too kind, Consular," she said with a soft smile, "but the honor of his memory falls to me. Someday I hope to become the caliber of Knight that he was in life." Adjusting to a more uplifting topic, she added, "I've been told you are quite practiced in Trakata-- maybe someday when we have the spare time, we can spar. I suspect I have much to learn from you." Kendra was confident in some of her abilities, but she had learned to approach all training humbly; one should never judge their teacher, lest it become a habit. Judgement often led to underestimation, and Kendra would not allow her analytical mind to be led astray by false assumptions.

Just as she concluded her reply to Knight Xylona, a new student entered. She introduced herself as a padawan. Kendra did not know her, had not seen her before; she reached out almost unconsciously in the Force to feel her signature, committing it to memory. Master Cameron once told her that a man who memorized everyone he met was never surprised to be stabbed in the back; while Kendra didn't share his mistrusting sentiment, she did understand the usefulness of identifying other Force users by their signature-- although it was true that she would be able to sense them from a distance, given time to meditate on their unique signature.

She gave the newcomer a welcoming smile that showed in her gilded green eyes, a bright smile that Kendra hoped would help to calm the subtle frustration she felt in her.

"I have every confidence, you will do so." Adonia said revealing her sapphire eyes, and a soft smile. "Yes I was taught that form when I was very young by my first master, it is rare in the order, the idea of disengage your blade for even a moment, is unsettling to some. but with the skills I will pass on today it is far less dangerous than many people think And if you would Like for me to instruct you in that as well, you need only ask, I'm not hard to find, Or so I am told. I'm not quite sure if that is a good thing in this day and age."

"Calm your yourself Von, replace that frustration with peace, you will need alight heart to achieve what we need to do today, I am Adonia Xylona it is a pleasure to meet finally you." Adonia greeted the newcomer with polite and graceful nod.

"Loogo Vssil, your reputation precedes you, congratulations on your knighthood, join me in meditation if you wish."

Loogo felt flattered. He didnt realize just how informed the other Jedi in the Order were, especially about Knighthood. Although it was a great honor to become a Knight, one that he still felt strong about. The Sluissi felt a bit embarrassed that she knew more about him, then he did about her. Although he did not let it consume him, he would get to know her now and on a more personal level. Loogo slithered on towards where she was meditating and coiled his tail to sit down next to her, taking up her offer of a shared meditation. Although it was cut short as yet another Jedi Knight found their way to the class. Yet another Loogo had yet to meet. He relished the opportunity to meet other Jedi, especially ones on the same level he was.

Letting them speak, and introduce each other, the Sluissi barely had time to meet the newcomer when padawan Von walked in. Clearly she was in distress about being late. It made Loogo reminisce about when he was a Padawan, giving him a sly smile as he rose and uncoiled his tail.

Loogo approached the Knights and Padawan, giving off an enlightened glow through the Force. He remained quite, letting the others continue the conversation until it turned into the class to which they all initially came here for.

"It's nice to meet you as well, Teacher," Von replied with a bow, "I'll do my best to calm down."

The Zeltron-hybrid walked over and joined the others. She ran through a few brief calming exercises before turning to smile at Loogo. She sent a quick burst of congratulatory feeling to him via her Zeltron telepathy, then patiently waited for the class to begin.

Kendra gave the instructor a smile and a nod. "I would like that."

She quieted, figuring the class was all here now, awaiting the beginning of the lesson. Her hands folded in front of her and she glanced to Loogo and the padawan that introduce herself as Von Raythe, casting them a smile. Kendra spent much of her time alone, either working on her shuttle or meditating, occasionally sparring with someone to keep her saber skills sharp. But beyond that, it was rare for her to feel a sense of fellowship, to be around other Jedi in a comfortable setting. Despite the classroom setting, she felt it here.
