Probably the first time since leaving the Sith Emperor on a stone slab under the core of a snowy planet, Argus had seen daylight. Starting with his sudden departure from the Sith directly from Rhen Var, to stealing a Ziost fighter from Malon, to hawking it off to some shipyard on the Republic border for a good amount of credits, hiding a few weeks, and now hanging out at some sullen Cafe on Corellia, Argus admitted it had been a hell of a month. Or two.

He breathed inward, taking a sip of some Corellian brew piping hot in his blue hands, the man rolled his neck in an attempt to fight off the stress of being on the run. It was pretty dangerous being out in the open, but there were many Chiss out and about in the galaxy since the Empire controlled the Csillan territory now. A bit proud of that, his people spreading and being part of the galaxy, but that might have been from the terror Argus himself invoked. There was a twinge of sadness at that, knowing that he had become something that seemed completely evil at the time. Now, he just felt... empty.

That all started when Kira turned bat-shit insane, then dying, then trying to haunt Argus while he grieved. Now, just sitting on the outside, finally relaxing near the heart of the Republic, something definitely felt weird. It wasn't the lightsaber tucked into the under-pocket on his coat, wasn't the civilian clothes either, it was the fact that force users were naturally drawn to each other. And past meetings with Jedi weren't all they were cut out to be. He thought back to Onderon, to the isanity of that war, back to facing the then Jedi Lord Vosrik on the bridge of the Peacekeeper. The hostility involved for the sole reason he was named Sith, apprentice of some wayward Dark Lord at the time, really was never put into prospective entirely until just now.

Those thoughts tumbled around for a bit, then condensed back into the real reason for his troubles. So far away from the main bulk of Sith territory, so close to Jedi now, he wondered what the next interaction with the people who claimed to be of the Light Side would be like. The Chiss took another sip of his brew as Corellia slugged on, time seeming to hold it's breath, as the Republic slowly decayed into it's end around them.
