BIOGRAPHY

Flodd was born to a rural family living in the countryside of Naboo. The child of a Miralukan enclave living on the planet, most of Flodd's childhood was spent helping his mother and father fishing during the annual rainy seasons when the vast waterways flooded. Life was idyllic, simple, and full of warmth and simple pleasures. Unlike his older siblings who were all far more industrious and prefered the excitement of the capital, Flodd even at an early age knew he was content with continuing the family tradition of fishing.

This idyll summertime of youth was shattered when Mandolorian bounty hunters arrived. For unknown reasons and unknown ends, they emerged from hiding and struck hard and fast, brutally killing Flodd's family as well as the rest of the wider rural enclave of Miraluka. Maimed and traumatized at the sight of flames consuming the simple life he'd earenstly desired, Flodd demanded to know why any of this needed to happen when held captive by his attackers. The answer stuck with him: "Credits, results, and because we were stronger."

Although he did not die that night, the boy Flodd was (and likely would have been) was. He did not readjust to idyll living in the countryside with family friends, or take well to the more "artistic" schooling and exploits of the capital. Instead, a deep, vicious, festering anger and rage boiled inside him. Through this simmering anger came a new, sole purpose in life: revenge. Although there had been signs of increased force sensitivity by Flodd, it was not until he had dedicated the remainder of his life to finding justice for his family that he discovered his true force sensitivity. Thinking impulsively, and not truly understanding or caring for the intricacies of Light or Dark, Flodd traveled to the realm of the Sith and enrolled into the Sith Academy in order to begin his long road to vindication and justice.

Personality

Flodd's psyche and personality revolve around what he views as the sole remainign purpose for his existence: revenge.

To Flodd, there is nothing more important than his goal. His motivations for joining the Sith were not for love of their cause or any rivalry, but rather the opportunity to grow strong enough to kill the Mandolorians who touted their superiority on strength alone. His relationship to the dark side and Sith so far (at least through his academy days) are that of pragmatism, of a desire to do everything possible to grow as strong as he has to to complete his goal. The more spiritual aspects, rivalry with the jedi, and wider intricacies of Sith esotericism thus currently do not speak to this pragmatism, and so often are neglected or ignored in his selfish pursuits. He remains quiet about such views, and his views on the Sith in general, instead remaining aloof and afar from most other Acolytes--and outright avoiding anyone of a higher rank.

Beyond this initial higher-level, though, Flodd Reeth is still fundamentally a fourteen year-old boy. Although possessing enough self-awareness to bite his tongue, he can be immature, spiteful, angry, and all the other sorts of characterizations that come with his age. With no parental figures and a boat-load of unresolved anger compelling him forward, he struggles to do well in social situations and instead prefers watching them from afar as a passive observer. This teenage angst is tempered thankfully when the situation demands seriousness such as in combat... Though even then that can vary.

Skills

As an Acolyte, Flodd possess all the requirements and trainings one would expect. As a Miraluka, it is still worth mentioning that he does possess a natural aptitude for Force Sight and can be considered a natural expert at it. He is physically fit, but still struggles somewhat with finding a lightsaber style that suits him and developing the combative athleticism needed to support it. What Flodd struggles with physically, however, he makes up for in spades with a natural prodigal talent and connection to the force that suprasses other acolytes in the Sith Academy--although this too remains unrefined and basic.
