Fleet vs Fleet

((this is a non-canon duel between me and Fusion using the ships me and him have already discussed with each other))

Captain Par'jila paced around the CIC of the Endless Dawn, His battle fleet was in deep space on a mundane recon mission, his fleet was small only 4 ships, it consisted of The Endless dawn a Ragnarok class super dreadnought, The Kitty Hawk a Galaar class battle cruiser, The Concordia a Mythosaur class super carrier and the Bismark, the smallest of the 4 ships but by far the fastest and one of the most heavily armed, it was a monster as far as the Navy was concerned, it was a small Krayt class Battlecruiser.

The Captain surveyed the area of deep space he was in, the Endless dawn and the Bismark sat concealed in the large red nebulae while the Concordia was doing flight Maneuvers with it's fighter compliment and the Kitty Hawk was running scans on the local asteroid belt.

 

[Fusion]

On the far side of the nebula, an Executor-class Star Dreadnaught was lurking. The Intimidator, recently repaired from its grave site, had been refitted and rearmed to become Subach-Innes' command ship. Myra was on board it as several of the destroyers and their fighters flanked it. The Saturn, Decimator, Legion, Reliant, Raynor, Orestes, and Atreus were all guarding it.

Admiral Subach, we're picking up a fleet of Mandalorian ships, Dreadnaught, Destroyer, and Cruiser class.

Acknowledged, Raynor. Wait for the vessels to get within range. Then we will contact them and make em leave.

The CIC was bathed in red light as the sensors flared to life, signalling the presence of another fleet of ships.

"Kitty Hawk move to investigate the other group of ships, find out if they are hostile or what it is they want in this sector of space."

Captain Par'jila spoke calmly into the calm pacing back and forth, he watched the display as the Kitty Hawk changed it's trajectory and headed towards the "enemy" fleet.

"Helm take us about 20 degrees starboard, keep us inside this nebulae til it's absolutely necessary for us to show ourselves, these dust particles should mush up their sensors just a bit, Bismark get into flanking position your faster than all of us, ready main cannons."

The fleet commander was ready for anything as he gave his orders to the various ships.

"Concordia have your fighter wings ready to go on my command, and move to back them up from range if need be. Comms open a line to the lead vessel of that fleet."

The comms office Vash Nice did as he was ordered.

"This is Commander Par'jila state your business in this sector of space."

 

[Fusion]

This is Grand Admiral Myra Subach, New Confederate Navy, on board the Executor-class Star Dreadnaught Intimidator. You have intruded into space belonging to the New Confederacy of Independent Systems. It should be you stating your business in this sector.

The Dreadnaught and her guarding destroyers appeared out of the nebular mist. The Intimidator was in a position to bring all its guns to bear on the Mandalorian ships as the other destroyers took up positions, their fighters and bombers on standby.

"We do not recognize any formal claim of ownership of this sector of space, especially not by the New Confederacy of Independent Systems, if you insist on continuing your hostile actions towards us I am afraid you will leave me with no choice other than to remove your claim of owner ship over this sector of space by force."

The captain clicked off the open comm channel and brought up a second one to his fleet.

"Concordia release 2 wings of fighters and 1 wing of bombers, Kitty Hawk engage the enemy vessels at will, Bismark move to flank and open fire on the main enemy vessel, All hands action stations fire at will."

the Kitty Hawk brought all 5 of it's heavy Mass Driver cannons to bear on the enemy vessels, and both medium mass driver cannons, and opened fire, the concordia released 2 wings (25 fighters each) of Tom'ucir fighters, and 1 wing (10 bombers) of Tsad bombers, The Bismark emerged from the Nebulae on the opposite side of the enemy fleet then both the Kitty Hawk and the Concordia were, all 5 of the double barrel ultra heavy turbo laser batteries came to bear and opened fire, the Endless Dawn stayed where it was hidden within the red Nebulae waiting to open fire.

The mass drivers hit the enemy craft, but their strong particle shields protected them from the physical rounds, though the Reliant and Legion suffered a bit of hull damage.

From the bridge, Myra watched as the Mandalorian fleet began to mobilize. She knew it would be an utterly futile effort, but decided to have some fun with them before vaporizing their vessels into space dust.

Raynor, Orestes, turn and open fire on that first battlecruiser(The Bismark) with your main guns!

Acknowledged, Raynor and Orestes engaging enemy battlecruiser.

The Raynor and Orestes turned, opening fire on the Bismark, each with their super-heavy main beam as Myra continued to bark out orders.

Decimator, engage that other battlecruiser(Kitty Hawk) with the Legion's help! Reliant, provide anti-fighter support!

Acknowledged, Intimidator, Decimator and Legion moving to destroy other enemy battlecruiser.

A swarm of Lokis, Apollos, and the new Myrmidon heavy fighters flew towards the Kitty Hawk as the Decimator opened up with its forward heavy compound particle beam, the Legion turning and firing off its 4 heavy beam cannons.

Gunnery control, aim at that dreadnaught with our light beam cannons.

The Intimidator's 48 light beam cannons locked onto the Concordia and opened fire. The large number of them would allow for sufficient damage to the 6km dreadnaught.

*Notice: Beams are weapons that hit basically 100% of the time. The only thing is, while they're firing, they are incapable of being reaimed if the ship they're firing at moves unless the ship firing them turns itself.

The concordia turned for a broadside it's Beskar plating protecting it mostly from the impact of the beam weapons, it brought it's weapons to bear 14 of it's 28 heavy turbo lasers and all 8 of the proton torpedo launchers fired simultaniousley at the Intimidator, its 12 AA cannons opened fire on the torrent of Fighter craft coming it's way, the 2 wings of fighters and 1 wing of bombers moved in to engage the enemy vessels.

The Kitty Hawk turned and dropped it's starboard retractable armor plates and fired it's 15 starboard light turbo laser batteries, it's 10 medium turbolaser batteries, and it's single torpedo launcher, the bow mounted heavy concussion missile launcher fired on the decimator, meanwhile it let loose it's small torrent of tom'ucir Fighter craft she only had 12 starfighters but they were skilled and deadly. The armor plating on the Kitty Hawk was taking a pounding but holding strong.

The Bismark continued firing with it's 5 double barreled ultra heavy turbo laser cannons, and proceeded to open fire with its 25 heavy turbo laser batteries, it's port side was aimed at the Raynor so she opened fire with her 5 super heavy concussion missile launchers, the Bismark had decent shielding for a ship it's size and it was fast.

"Commander we have a firing solution on the enemy flag ship, orders?" The XO Lieutenant Kane spoke as if she had engaged in a fight like this dozens of times.

(Triumphant Warrior) in his native language looked at the digital display as he puffed on his pipe

The nose of the Endless Dawn the 17km long Monstrosity emerged from the Nebulae and opened fire, 50 heavy turbolaser batteries

25 heavy ion cannon batteries
8 tractor beam batteries
25 heavy concussion missile batteries
25 quad linked vulcan series heavy rotary blaster cannon batteries
All aimed at the enemy flag ship as the Endless Dawn slowly emerged from the Nebulae.

The Intimidator soaked up the fire from the Endless Dawn and responded with its own barrage: All 6 of its super-heavy beam cannons, 24 heavy beam cannons, 250 nuclear cluster EMP torpedo launchers, and 250 shaped-charge ion cannons. This would seriously hurt the super-dreadnaught.

The Raynor easily took in the turbolaser bolts, but one of the concussion missiles made its way straight into the fighterbay, blowing up and preventing any of the destroyer's fighters from joining the battle. In response, it fired at the Bismarck with its heavy and light beam cannons, as well as its turbolasers and torpedo launchers. The Orestes moved in and did so as well, while the Saturn and Atreus got in front of and behind the Bismark, effectively boxing it in as they opened fire(the Saturn's 4 heavy and the Raynor's 1 super-heavy beams).

The Decimator launched its own Athena-class and Loki-class fighters to engage the incoming Mandalorian craft as it fired its side compound particle beam at the Kitty Hawk. The Legion moved in as well, turning and aiming its 2 unfired heavy beam cannons at the Kitty Hawk as the Reliant launched its fires while firing its 2 light particle beam cannons. Some of the fighters from the Legion were actually old Mandalorian craft, as was the ship itself. Perhaps it would surprise the captain of this fleet.

Ion weapons were horribly bad for Shields, after quite a few strikes the shields on the Endless Dawn dropped letting through the main firepower of the Intimidator, The Endless Dawn dove straight at the heart of the intimidator firing it's full compliment of weaponry as it moved, increasing it's speed as it went.

The Bismark did a surprise move counter turning all it's weapons to fire in unison at all the ships surrounding it, it moved forward towards the lead ship boxing it in, as it closed with the lead ship it activated it's FTL and Jumped forward through the lead ship, this would cripple both ships if not destroying both at the same time, as it jumped the bismark brought all weapons forward and fired in unison, the goal of this ricky manuever was to drag the enmy ships through the wormhole it would create. if not severally cripple the other ships.

the triple plating on the kityy hawk was soaking up the main barrage from the enemy fire, several compartments were taking serious damage however and had to be closed off, the Kitty Hawk fired 8 consecutive blasts from its bow mounted heavy concussion missile launcher followed by a barrage from its turbo laser batteries.

The Atreus was not ready for the Bismark as it activated its jump drive. The collision was immense, breaking the 3km ship in half as it and the other ship blew each other to bits.

The Saturn, Raynor, and Orestes managed to stay out of the resulting shockwave, explosion, and spatial distortion. They turned their attention to the Concordia and opened fire with their main guns.

The Kitty Hawk's missile impacted the Reliant's fighter bay after its fighters had left. The rest impacted the hull around it, causing moderate damage. The Legion and Decimator turned, as did the Reliant, revealing their other sides as the beams on those sides charged up and opened fire on the Galaan-class ship.

The Intimidator recharged its 48 light beam cannons and fired at the Endless Dawn again, hoping to stop or destroy it before there was a collision.

The Endless Dawn reversed trajectory and sent all 8 of the Asteroids she had been holding in her tractor beams forward at the same pace with which she had been travelling forward, the Beam weaponry from the Intimidator was tearing small chunks of armor plating off the nose as that was all she had aimed at the other ship, the asteroids would make for a nice impact and hopefully a good surprise, as she let loose her entire compliment of fighter craft 150 tom'ucir starfighters flew out of the flight decks directly in the shadow of the large asteroids popping up and doing strafing runs on the Intimidator as the Asteroids went towards their mark. The Endless Dawn continued it's Barrage and slowly drifted back into the Nebulae.

The Weapons Compliment on the concordia had not been updated in quite sometime the 6000m long ship was severely under gunned, so instead she moved back into the asteroid field letting loose every last ship she had, she fired her main cannons as the 3 ships turned their attention on her, she was taking a beating and even though she was a dreadnought she was out gunned.

The Kitty Hawk was a relentless fighter she was taking a pounding from the Beam weapons of the other 3 ships, she turned her bow into the three and brought all her weapons to bear on the ships, sending a relentless torrent of missiles and laser fire towards it's Enemy, the Main advantage of the Gaalar class especially the Kitty hawkl was it's Armor plating.

 

[Fusion]

The Intimidator used its own tractor beams to lock onto the asteroids flung at it, preventing them from impacting the command ship's hull. The Intimidator's heavy and super-heavy beam cannons charged up and opened fire on the Mandalorian Super-Dreadnaught once again.

The Orestes and Raynor moved into point-blank range of the Concordia, their hulls pocked with scorch marks and dings where the Mandalorian mass drivers had hit them. They opened fire with their light and heavy beam cannons as their main guns recharged. When they did, they would destroy this vessel.

The Reliant pulled back, it being too weak to take on the Kitty Hawk even with capital ship and fighter support. The Decimator compensated by turning at an angle to bring both its forward and side composite particle beams to bear on the Kitty Hawk, firing them as the Legion fired its 4 recharged beams on its other side.

Fighters, shuttles and escape pods launched from the Concordia as it moved forward to meet the Orestes and the Raynor as it closed with them it went super critical and exploded intending to take it's 2 enemies with it, the resulting blast from the 6km long dreadnought would destroy most of the asteroid belt and hopefully both ships she had moved between.

The Kitty Hawk turned its attention to the Decimator and focused fire on it's engines hoping to disable the ship.

The Endless Dawn continued pulling back into the nebulae and refocused its attack on where the CIC of the Intimidator should be.

 

[Fusion]

The 6km dreadnaught moved towards the Raynor and Orestes, which quickly turned away and started moving just as the Concordia exploded. The Raynor had been disabled, the shockwave from the explosion decimating the engines, while the Orestes was far too close and had simply been blown into space dust.

The Decimator and Legion turned and got directly to the sides of the Kitty Hawk at point-blank range(about 600m) and opened up with their side beam cannons. Minimal energy waste for maximum damage.

The Intimidator simply fired its ion cannons at the Endless Dawn, waiting for the right moment to hopefully annihilate it with a barrage of all its beam cannons at once.

The kitty hawk was pinned between the 2 ships, she closed her side ports and triggered her FTL jumping to light speed and moving out of the immediate star system.

The ion weapons from the Intimidator was pounding the the Endless Dawn, her systems were state of the art though, she was a monstrosity when it came to open warfare and her commander was a tactical Genius.

"Sease fire, Launch 8 of the concussion missiles with a timed detonator to blow when they are 1km away from us, I want them to detonate inside the nebulae so they think they got us, Power down all non essential systems and go into silent running mode."

All was quiet on board the Endless Dawn as her systems powered down 1 by 1 and then the massive explosion of 8 super heavy concussion missiles happened causing the nebulae to shift and ripple the red gaseous clouds swirling around, the Endless Dawn hung silent inside the Nebulae waiting for her opponents next move.

 

[Fusion]

As the Intimidator readied to fire its beams at the Endless Dawn, a massive explosion ripped through the nebulae, as the ship seemingly was blown to bits.

Decimator here. I think we got em...

No... A super-dreadnaught like that would never have produced that small of an explosion and that misshapen of a shockwave... Fire all weapons at the Mandalorian vessel's last known position.

The Intimidator's beams charged up and opened fire on where the Endless Dawn was last seen, the ion cannons and torpedo launchers firing in a spread pattern. The Decimator, Legion, and Reliant also added their turbolasers and beam cannons to the mix.

The Kitty Hawk jumped back into the system a few moments after it had left, only waiting long enough to recharge it's FTL as soon as it was in system it made a charge towards the Battle group lowering it's side plating and letting loose a torrent of weaponry as it dove head long at the 3 smaller vessels, it focused all its fire power on the Decimator.

The Endless dawn charge up it's 8 Ion cannons and fired into the nebulae 6 consecutive times, creating an Ion storm within the cloud, the added Ion blasts from the Intimidator helped create this veritable chaos within the Nebulae, with the reemergence of the Kitty hawk into the Fight the Endless Dawn kicked up it's Weapons systems and focused fire on the Reliant, they would take this battle group apart 1 by 1 if they had to.

The Reliant wasn't ready for the Kitty Hawk jumping back into the fight, losing all shield strength as the Mandalorian guns pounded on its hull. Having suffered critical damage, the Reliant turned towards the dastardly Mando vessel and activated its own FTL drive, hopefully destroying both ships in the process.

The Decimator and Legion opened fire on the Endless Dawn with their beams, as did the disabled Raynor and Atreus. The Intimidator fired more ion cannon blasts and concussion missiles at it as well while its beams recharged for another assault that would hopefully vaporize the enemy vessel.

The Kitty Hawk fired a full barrage of it's Mass Driver Cannons as the reliant activated it's FTL the Thick Beskar Plating and Durasteel composite plating would be enough to deflect most of the Beam weaponry but a ship jumping into Hyperspace through another ship was always destructive, The Kitty Hawk's command bridge seperated and launched straight up as it's Own FTL fired sending the ship forward into the oncoming vessel, she was out of the Fight but her command crew was safe as the FTL went critical and exploded taking the other ship with it, and causing a huge shockwave through space, the Shockwave from the 2 FTl's meeting was immense rippling through space and shattering asteroids and parts of the massive Nebulae in the process.

The Endless Dawn in the meantime was taking a pounding, her captain was a sly dog
setting his emergency hyperdrive to critical levels he ejected it and shot it towards the battlegroup, the Endless Dawn kept firing keeping it's nose aimed at the Intimidator and other vessels keeping the majority of the damage to the front of the massive ship, where no critical locations were, as his Back up hyperdrive launched into the midst of the battlegroup he fired every last super heavy concussion missile he had left in stock, right around 150 missiles, at the battle group.

The fleet's anti-fighter beams went to work on the incoming missiles. The majority of them were destroyed, but about 25% got through, impacting the Atreus and blowing it to hell. The Intimidator moved below and to the side of the Endless Dawn and fired its light beams at the warship's engines, its heavy beams at what seemed to be the bridge, and its super-heavy beams directly amidships, hoping to bore right through. The other warships(aside from the Raynor) moved to the opposite side, raking the Super-Dreadnaught with heavy beam cannon fire as the Raynor fired upon the Kitty Hawk's command bridge with its main gun.
