FL Announcement
For the past month I've been almost entirely absent due to health reasons. I had hoped that in the meantime someone would step up that could more naturally fill my shoes as Faction Leader, but that doesn't make this decision less necessary.
As of this post I am stepping down as Faction Leader of the Empire.
There's a difference between your activity requirement as a member and the activity requirement as a FL. I don't see myself returning to meet the latter's amount of activity in the foreseeable future and instead of holding on to the top-spot and possibly curtailing the plots and ambitions of other Empire-writers, I prefer to step down. In my absence I see activity for the faction as a whole has waned a little, so I hope that this decision will instill some ambition in you all and create a hive of activity to see a new non-FS Emperor on the throne, or if the story wills it, a FS character??
I want to be clear that I'm making this decision solely based on and for my health. I will try to stay active on SWRP as a member.
The fate of the current Emperor -Davik Emer-Drast- I will leave up to my successor to fit their narrative best. May he be murdered, coup'd or simply have died of natural causes.
