SPECIES: Half-Fras; half-human

FACTION: The Hutt Cartel

POSITION: Pirate
RANK : Smuggler
FORCE: Negative

HEIGHT: 5'6"

WEIGHT: 130 lb
HAIR COLOR: Fur - Black

WEAPONS:

A-45 Sniper Rifle

ARMOR: Outrider Scout Armor

VEHICLE: Z-13 Light Freighter

CHARACTER SUMMARY:

Midnight has never been one to stand up for herself. She was born a slave and for the better part of her life served a wealthy family where she lived like a silent shadow, never heard and barely seen. It suited the young girl just fine as she wasn't the most personable of people to begin with. She kept to herself and rarely made conversation with the other servants. It wasn't until Midnight saw the eldest son of the estate giving a beating to one of the younger, newer slaves that Midnight finally stood up for herself. She snuck up behind the man and broke a vase of his head. Consumed by rage, she let out all of her pent up aggression she didn't know she'd been repressing and wailed on him until he was black and blue. Stealing his set of keys she then fled the complex with the younger girl she'd saved and headed for the city.

Fearing imprisonment -or worse, death- the two ran from the authorities with nothing on them but the clothes on their backs. Luck was on their side that night as they escaped those who came after them. For months they stayed off the grid and lived in the wilderness, occasionally venturing back into the cities to seek shelter from the rain. In time the two bartered their way off the planet and were able to work on a smuggling ship until they got back on their feet. The Hutts took them in and the two went their separate ways. From there Midnight took odd jobs where she could find them until the Hutts were able to sell her her own vessel to which she could take to the starry skies. Midnight took to smuggling and pirating for the cartel and brought in a decent income. There would forever be a bounty out on her head, but as long as she continued to serve, the Hutts would not collect.

Five years passed and Midnight was beginning to run out of options. Missions were not paying as well as she'd hoped and the good ones she could run herself were few and far between. It seemed like Midnight would have to find a crew if she ever hoped to start making some coin again. And she tried her hand with a few of them. Dedric Ryker was her first attempt. She totally botched a simple snatch and grab mission but Dedric was kind enough to allow her a second go at things when he invited her along to knock out some low-life thug operation. The pay was considerable, a first for Midnight. But after that Dedric went his own way and she returned to the Hutts hoping something else came along. It was around this time that the Hutt Cartel began to sign an alliance with the Exiled Jedi, now calling themselves the SIth Empire. Koedi Se'Roc became her next client. Midnight had seen a few Sith before, but she'd never had the opportunity to work with one. She'd heard too many stories about their lack of discipline and otherwise aggressive nature. Midnight thought for sure that Se'Roc would kill her the moment their mission ended, but the Force had other plans.

Along came a man named Jett Nova. Midnight was at the end of her rope with no money left to buy fuel. She spent the last of her coin on a bottle of rum and hoped to drink her sorrows away. She knew her time was up and had every intention of selling her ship then barting transport back to the Cartels for whatever punishment they could think of, likely slavery. It didn't take much for the former G.A.R. soldier to convince Midnight to fly along with him. Jett and Kit-Kat -his little nickname for her- proved to be a well-oiled team and started knocking out Hutt missions back to back. Things were finally looking up for the two of them as they even got enough money (after having sold their two collective crafts for better selections) to purchase a freighter. Midnight hadn't quite gotten to the rank she'd have liked within the Cartel, but at least she was no longer worried about paying off her debts....

SKILLS AND PERSONALITY:
Dexterity has always been Midnight's best quality. As nimble as a cat she can maneuver herself around effortlessly in just about any situation. Whether it's combat or chasing her prey, the Fras genetics inside her allows Midnight to always be fast on her feet and nearly silent in the process. Preferring to stay in high places, Midnight usually takes to hanging out in their ship's rafters. Sleeping in the catwalks of their vessel she can almost always be found lying across a pole with her arms and legs dangling out under her, her tail swaying back and forth. Due to her relaxed lifestyle, Midnight isn't much up for socializing. Like many spoiled felines, she comes out of hiding only when it benefits her and can't ever be told to do so otherwise.

In the same respect, Midnight has never been much of a fighter. She easily gets tired during a fight and only exerts herself when she absolutely needs to. Knowing she can't last in a long drawn-out battle, she prefers to take out her opponent as quickly as she can. Using her two pistols she fires a hailstorm of blaster bolts in hopes of one of them hitting their mark. Even though her accuracy isn't top marks, her tactics are usually more for distraction than actual combat. If she can flee from battle, that's exactly what the half-Fras fighter will do. Luckily for her, her teammates are always there to back her up and watch her back. Every now and then she has also been known to fire a rifle from long distances in which her accuracy significantly improves.

While seemingly childish at times, Midnight has a wonderful and caring heart when it matters. She is always there to protect the ones she loves and isn't afraid to stand up for them. Even though she isn't strong, she uses the gifts she was given to take out those that stand in her way. When her claws or fangs don't work, she uses her speed. Midnight has never been ashamed to run from a battle, unless one of her own were at stake. Then she'd do everything in her power to wear the attacker out so she could sneak in and pounce when he least expects it. If Midnight has learned anything in her twenty-two years of being alive, it's that family is what matters most. Whether they are your blood or not, those that are closest to your heart will always be there....

Hey there. Nice profile.

But, Edemmians aren't an approved species yet with the new timeline. They would have to be resubmitted by Kiro and reapproved to be used this timeline.

And can you post links to the tech you are using from the tech boards?

EMP grenades would need a write up (again), and thermal detonators are classed as advanced tech as they are uncommon and illegal this timeline, so they will need a tech plot for a character to have them.

I understand RPing to get the cool stuff but why a Plot submission just for a cool grenade ?

Regular grenades are fine, but thermals detonators are rare, expensive, very illegal, and very powerful.

Update: I removed the grenades altogether. I added links to the Tech available. Now I just need to make tech for the other weapons and my droid, as well as make a lore write-up for Edemmians.

Anything else?

I have changed her species from Edemian to Fras since I gave up on trying to add the Lore for the species. No other edits besides a slight change in bio to match the species.

Please in future have an admin review a species to be put on Approved Species List before changing an approved character's species to one not yet reviewed. I went ahead and reviewed it; approved.
