Get ready for a Ranger Round up Gang


You guys might have seen this new topic

It's a series of short stories showing recruiting efforts by many many Rangers.

Basically this was one idea I thought of to make recruitment missions much more fun and relaxed, allowing everyone to make their own story.

If you can I'd like everyone to participate with at least one character in the Rangers with at least one story

it doesn't have to be huge and please don't get too crazy (no "I got five thousand guys because they liked my cute butt" stories)

Also the big advantage is you really only need one post, just a fairly big self contained story of recruiting someone or a group of someones

The recruiting can take place on

Zonju V

Terminus

Saijo

Daedalus

Kinooine

Rutan

and a bunch of other places near our home base

feel free to make up locations on Zonju V especially small communities and oasis towns which will be the focus of our recruiting and protection efforts in our ongoing conflict with the Hutts

This will really help us start expanding our reach and populate the news bases we are working towards

can the jedi help out here? I was thinking if we find some non force sensitive willing to help or something we would send them your way.

So I feel like kind of an idiot, but a couple things:

1. My bad for not seeing this post sooner, sorry.

2. I guess I'm not sure what's supposed to be going on here. Do our characters recruit other people, or am I completely off the mark?

1. Don't feel bad it's not required participation, just encouraged

2. Sorry I wasn't clearer. The idea is for you to go out to a place your character can recruit and realistically make a short story where said character brings in a good batch of npcs. Smaller assets like freighter ships can also be acquired

I listed some possible places and for example, your character Sasha might go to Daedalus and make some business contacts, schmooze some potential partners and get them drunk enough to accept our ridiculous group as a good investment

Nathan might bring in some old out of work colleagues to work for GRIT

Oh, that sounds like a ton of fun, actually! Thanks for clearing it up, Duke, I can't wait to get started. (And I'm totally ripping off both those ideas, just fyi :p)
