Claire had awoke hours earlier, disturbed from her rest by a nightmare. One that was clearly a result of the atrocities she had witnessed on Ziost, and perhaps, in part, shame for some of her actions.
But the Alderaan mountains were therapeutic, a true respite for a Jedi seeking peace and meditation; it's crisp mountain air, the spirited singing of the birds, the sumptuous colors of the flowers at full blossom and the fully filled out trees. All of it infusing the site with a beauty so intense that it saturated her senses, dulling her recollection of the turbulent night.
A thick Jedi robe covered her armor and head—an extra layer to keep her warm. Though she hadn't brought her helmet, so the cool air kissed her cheeks and brought on a light blush. And unlike most days, her long golden locks of hair draped over her shoulders and chest freely.
Her blue eyes settled on her camp fire in the distance. The camp site was a minimal to say the least, but it was good enough. Most of her time was spent wandering around the forest anyway. Besides, it felt less cluttered and less... chaotic. She had had her fill chaotic; her whole life had been chaotic outside of these rare retreats and a some of her childhood.
She took in one long breath of fresh air, then continued the search for firewood.
