Claire had awoke hours earlier, disturbed from her rest by a nightmare. One that was clearly a result of the atrocities she had witnessed on Ziost, and perhaps, in part, shame for some of her actions.

But the Alderaan mountains were therapeutic, a true respite for a Jedi seeking peace and meditation; it's crisp mountain air, the spirited singing of the birds, the sumptuous colors of the flowers at full blossom and the fully filled out trees. All of it infusing the site with a beauty so intense that it saturated her senses, dulling her recollection of the turbulent night.

A thick Jedi robe covered her armor and head—an extra layer to keep her warm. Though she hadn't brought her helmet, so the cool air kissed her cheeks and brought on a light blush. And unlike most days, her long golden locks of hair draped over her shoulders and chest freely.

Her blue eyes settled on her camp fire in the distance. The camp site was a minimal to say the least, but it was good enough. Most of her time was spent wandering around the forest anyway. Besides, it felt less cluttered and less... chaotic. She had had her fill chaotic; her whole life had been chaotic outside of these rare retreats and a some of her childhood.

She took in one long breath of fresh air, then continued the search for firewood.

Carys slunk through the forest, the beautiful pale flowers bedding the forest floor. Thin vines hung from the trees, beams of light crossing the vines as they filtered through the leafen canopy. White trunked trees rose from the ground, their petaling branches forming the canopy. The forest was in full bloom, filled with life. It sickened her.

Her aura, a sickening bleak patch of blackness, would feel as a blight in the forest. Entropy incarnate, madness radiated from the woman. With the Sith order broken, Carys felt free. No longer hindered by the stifling laws and codes of the Sith Order. She had seen the strong die and the weak flee. She had survived. She didn't need the pathetic Sith. She had the darkside.

She could feel the Jedi near, their auras touching. The Jedi who had humiliated her, forced her to retreat from that disgusting world of Tis'sharl. She had fought her way to an escape as the Jedi assaulted the planet, ordering her men to begin executing the prisoners, forcing the Jedi to choose between chasing her and saving as many lives as possible. She had wronged Carys and she would have her revenge. Somewhere in the forest, nearby was the Jedi. But Carys was in no hurry.

Stretching her mind out to brush with the Jedi's, she caressed the woman's mind. You could have beat me, if you only had the guts. her mind projecting the image of their fight on Tis'sharl, only instead chasing down the Sith while Imperial soldiers cut down the slaves, cell blocks and mines emptied of life by blaster and blade. But they won, no enemies would escape the Jedi.
