OOC: Open to any and all characters that would be on an Ossein flagship. This is going to be the 'corralling' of people who will be joining Dedric in his plot to get a new ship.
Location: Ossein Flagship, hyperspace
Time: Evening (ship time)
Participants: @Tippi Snibit (@Loco ), @Reedlee Voon ( @Rimrald )
Theme: Thieves & Kings - The Peach Kings

Day and night would be impossible to dicern when onboard a ship for extended periods of time. People who hop between planets do not realize this. It is something Dedric Ryker has lived with for his whole life. Leaving the lights on ship wide non stop can be disorienting. One loses track of any sense of time. So it is common practice for parts of the ship to dim during different periods of the day to simulate night and day. Right now it was a few hours before the lights would dim but Dedric was already sipping on some sour mash whiskey at the onboard cantina.

He wore simple dark wash trousers, boots and black T-shirt. A stainless steel wrist-chrono on his left hand was the only accessory he had. The human had left his blaster in his quarters for the time being. The ship was in route to Fondor if his memory served him. If not then the bartender was doing an amiable job.

Being a regular gave you a few extra drops of the rough grain alcohol. It was strong, it burned and was certainly not smooth. The first taste every time he came almost made his eyes water. But he was already a double serving in. When not working on his ship the man was either here, at the gym, or reading in privacy.

Rolling to his left slightly Reedlee knocked his head against the landing gear of his Hawk-Bat Interceptor, immediately stirring him awake and shooting up to a sitting position he caught himself jutting his hands out to cushion his head from making hard contact with the underside of the large second engine that made up roughly half of the ships fuselage. Blinking rapidly he looked around to remember he wasn't on that dreaded space station anymore nineteen years on that floating metal box and he still can't shake the place from his memory entirely.

Scooting out form under the ship he picked up his tools, looking around the hangar bay the seemingly non-stop hustle and bustle of workers robotic and sentient alike were moving entirely around the clock it seemed. The scope of the vessel really setting in to him as operations went on regardless of individuals, regardless of time of day;
how messed up must peoples sleep be? He thought to himself while extending the small boarding ladder to the cockpit opening it and stowing the tools with his helmet and pack in the tight cockpit before closing it and sliding back down.

Reedlee was in his normal attire, green flight suit and his leather accoutrements of the utility belt and chest holster which held his CZBP-9 light blaster pistol and survival knife along with the dueling armor protecting his arms. Stretching and taking a look at his chrono which sat on his right wrist mirrored by his communicator on his left; then around the hangar he looked for signage to the closest cantina, he was thirsty as sand people on a hot day and craving some blue milk. Trotting across the open middle ground that served as a flight line between the two sides of the hangar Reedlee approached the sliding bulkhead doors and stepped through the opening, making way down the hall to the cantina on his left side he poked his head in.

Spotting another man at the counter Reedlee made a quick attempt to crack his neck and get the kink out from sleeping on the hard metal floor before approaching the bar and letting out an audible huff.

"Hey any shot they serve blue milk at this cantina, I think they do at a few of the others.."
Reedlee said as he straddled a seat two down from the present company (@Darasuum)

Emanating from a corner of the bar, the highly muffled sounds of a space battle abruptly ceased. What had once been a pair of obsolete simulator pods, modified by the enterprising owner of the cantina to except credit chits, opened with a hydraulic hiss, and a helmeted figure emerged from each of them.
"Alright, I told you that would work! Pay up!"
The taller of the two figures removed a flight helmet, revealing the face of an Aqualish male. He put the helmet under his arm, gesticulating at the other, smaller figure and jabbering in his own grunting language. The other figure, much smaller than the walrus-like alien, shrank back uncertainly, but then stopped, planting their hands on their hips.
"Y-You wanna go again? I'll vape you like I did twice already! Best two outta three!"
The Aqualish grumbled, gesturing at the figure, and at the pods, but then appeared to concede. He muttered something else, digging in a pocket with a webbed hand and producing a handful of credit chips, which he then deposited on a nearby table. Waving dismissively he stalked out of the cantina. He tossed the flight helmet back into the open simulator he had just exited as he left, narrowly missing the smaller figure. The smaller figure held their defiant pose, looking after the Aqualish, before slumping in apparent relief and pulling off their own flight helmet after they were sure he had left.

Eice Frex shook her short hair loose, and made a face after her Aqualish opponent, who was now long gone. Smiling to herself in satisfaction, she tossed her helmet back into the simulator pod and went over to the table, collecting her winnings and securing them in a jingling pocket of her baggy flight suit. Casting a glance to the vid-screen hanging on a wall bracket above the two pods, she looked with satisfaction at her position near the top of the leader board, before walking over to the bar and hopping up onto a bar-stool.

Eice was perhaps inordinately proud of her accomplishment; living in a borrowed cot at the back of a parts shop in the main hangar and making a living fleecing boastful pilots of their credits with wagers on simulator duels was hardly a good way to live, but eventually the petite Tintinna hoped that her lot would improve. For now, she was slowly getting used to her new situation; before being hurtled out into the darkest Outer Rim without a lifeline, she had only ever heard stories about the Ossein, and given that she had worked for a shipping firm which was often in competition with such people, what she had heard was seldom very flattering. Now, though, having lived among them, she was beginning to see their true culture, and was finding herself beginning to adopt it. She was becoming - at the very least - more assertive than she had ever thought possible.

Adjusting her seat on the bar, Eice flagged down the bartender and ordered a blue milk with a shot of syrspirit - a drink she was beginning to develop a taste for - and a bowl of deep-fried coin-crabs. She paid proudly with a few of the coins she had recently won, looking pleased with herself as she sipped her drink and nibbled her crabs when both arrived.

After a moment, the Tintinna perked slightly, and she looked over, recognizing @Dedric Ryker and then @Reedlee Voon sitting down the bar. She smiled happily, giving a wave. "Hi guys!" She said in passable Durese, a language she had been teaching herself in the wake of previous experiences. "How are you this... evening, I guess? Still getting used to these shipboard day-night cycles..."

Keying in the ignition sequence, Rin softly whispered a quick prayer. For a few glorious seconds the old Bi-Vane Starfighter he had been working on hummed to life. There was a dull grumble coming from the engine as the machine suddenly struggled to stay alive. Probably not getting enough power. Then, a high pitched whine followed by a grinding sound which came to a crescendo and stopped abruptly causing the engine to burst into flames. Rin quickly clambered out of the cockpit, almost tripping on the harness as he ran over to his workbench and grabbed a fire extinguisher. In a few moments the ship was coated in both a thick white foam and black soot as the engine fire was eventually extinguished.

Rin dropped the extinguisher and rubbed his bandaged fingers before returning to his desk and sighing, drafting up a letter to the owner of the Bi-Vane stating that there was more internal damage than he initially examined and that he would need more time to repair the engines. Now is the time for a drink. Rin thought to himself as he powered off all his shop lights and began to walk towards the local cantina.

It was literally a flying city and was moving between star systems. Such marvels at technology and concepts of living were a wonder still to Dedric. At the same time he couldn't imagine being stuck in one stationary place for his whole life. There were people who not only lived on the same planet their whole life but the same city. It was tragic in his opinion and life was too short to spend in one dull locale.

The man inhaled a deep breath just as a younger man sat down next to him. He must have not come to the shipboard bar often because he asked for blue milk. He smelled of the all too familiar scent of ship work. That was what Dedric smelled like after working on his own interceptor. The young female rodent creature he had scene a few days earlier ordered blue milk and a shot of an alcoholic beverage to pair it with. "I think that answers your question." He said to @Reedlee Voon .

The flagship saw passangers that weren't of the Ossein culture regularly. Every city had non-natives populate it, why should the mobile city be any different. "You knew around here?" he inquired to the pilot beside him. Eice was even newer but Dedric was aware of this. A few of his pals had mentioned her and the gambling she did. With the evening vibe setting into the ship a few others occupied the establishment. "How long you plan on staying with us, whiskers?" he gave a glance at @Eice Frex indicating the second question was directed at her. Some people stayed awhile, some permanently, some were just passing through.

He was new, and unsure of how permanent his status among this floating city would be. It provided new experiences but left him with the reminiscent feeling of being back on the space station; a feeling that with some thought didn't deserve reminiscing. He was happy to be among so many people and seeing so many places, but as for this very moment he was happy to see a glass of blue milk head towards another patron; a patron he vaguely recognized.

The small creature was clearly sentient as this was the second time he encountered her..It? At the bar and he was even more intrigued in her taste for blue milk which he quickly followed suit waving at the droid and calling out.
"One more blue milk over here! And one more of whatever he's having." Voon said pointing to the man who had answered his question.

"I'm new and I have some mild celebrating to do. I won a ship betting on the first round in the grand tournament and i'm hoping to ride my luck to the end of it! So this next ones on me." He said smiling for a moment before turning his attention to the Tintinna and shooting her a fascinated look, even though he was from the outer rim he was a special case of sheltered by comparison. Unable to speak any languages besides basic and clearly not well versed in species he couldn't help but stare quizzically.

Eice took another sip of her "fortified" milk, feeling her nerves - wound up by the simulated fighter combat earlier - begin to relax themselves. Fact was, she was discovering that she was at least a decent pilot; true, she had gotten top marks in the classes she had been allowed to take, but aside from piloting the occasional shuttle or utility skiff, she had little practice.
But then, of course, she had discovered that while she was ostensibly out of practice, she seemed to have an instinct for such things. Some of the older Ossein she had spoken to said she had the makings of a torol, a word which did not exactly translate to anything Eice knew in basic, but seemed to mean something like "supernatural one" or "skilled one." Eice mostly dismissed such talk; maybe she was good, but not that good.

One of the other patrons - Dedric, the one she had noticed before - asked her a question, and Eice perked, smiling shyly. She popped another coin-crab in he mouth, chewed and swallowed before answering.
"I... guess I'm still deciding? I-I mean, I guess I don't really have anywhere else to go..."

Eice had, indeed, nowhere else in the Galaxy she knew to go. She was an accused criminal on Corellia, for one thing, and she had been fired by her company. Blackrow Hyperlogistics had taken care of all her needs her entire life, and for her parents' entire lives. She felt a brief pang at the thought of her parents; they were back on Corellia, probably worried sick about her, but would they forgive what she had ostensibly done? They were loyal to Blackrow, and Force knew how the fallout of her accused actions had effected them. Growing up, Eice had never been sure if love for their children actually trumped loyalty to the company in their view.
She knew roughly where she stood among the Ossein, though. Not very high, admittedly, given her stature and with only a busted-up lighter and a knack for winning simulator duels to her name, but it was somewhere. And despite the chaotic mess the Ossein flagship was on the inside, it was a place she was beginning to feel familiar with. Even after such a short time, she realized, it was beginning to feel like home.
Plus, for once in her life, she felt as if she had agency, if not very much as yet. The Ossein were a free people, so they said, and so they were for the most part. For Eice, it was a feeling that was... addicting.

She shook her head, returning herself to the present and taking another sip of blue milk.

"I doubt I'm going anywhere, to be honest. I... like it here, I-I think."

Reedlee, that was the guy's name. The two had spoken in the cantina the same day Eice had come aboard it seemed. Lots of new faces, maybe was due to Dedric's obsessive time under his interceptor or in his room. Maybe he should get out more. Tipping his glass he clinked it against the man's blue milk at the mention of paid for libations.

Listening to the meek female answer with a tone that seemed to lack confidence he simply raised his glass in response. "Welcome to the homeland of nomads, wayward and forever lost. You'll fit right in." He knew many Ossein that were not born into the life. It had been all Dedric knew but for others it could be quite different. Home, that's what this place was. To him and also others.

Like an empty bottle clinking he had an idea. "You two wouldn't happen to have an open schedual the next couple of days would you? His eyes returned to the spirits in his glass. He rolled it around the edges of the smooth glass, letting it aerate and then sniff like a practiced drinker.

Tippi threw up his stubby arms as he walked into the ships mid-flight late night drinking hole. Dedric had forgotten him again. It was probably his own fault, Tippi thought. He'd been engrossed with working on his stabilizer again. The patch job he'd worked up on his Antipode interceptor hadn't lasted more than a few flights. He'd been elbow deep in the problem all day, but was pretty convinced he'd finally solved the problem for good... maybe. He'd find out the next time they took off. for now, he needed a drink. Tippi saddled up next to Dedric, waved down the bartender, and jabbed his finger at the lomin-ale tap. He liked the lomin-ale on the home ship because the cantina owner didn't run his brew through an automixer. It was all measured and mixed by hand, and served room-temperature. Liquid perfection.

Tippi toasted along with the others. He wasn't sure what they were toasting to, but he was happy to participate. He'd caught up with the conversation only as it reached the welcoming to the fleet. He was happy for the little mouse girl. The Fleet had been good for Tippi, and good for Tippi's family. The fleet had saved him from certain death by drowning, and given him a home ever since. Seemed like a good place for anyone who was looking for a home. His ears perked up as Dedric asked who was free. Tippi waved his hand high in the air. Tippi was free. Tippi liked getting into trouble occasionally.

Eice saw @Dedric Ryker raise his glass, and gave a shy smile, raising her own and wiping the blue mustache off the fur of her upper lip. "I guess I'm already starting to..." she said, patting her jingling pocket before taking another swallow of drink. She really was starting to turn into one of these people, she thought; true she kept her meager quarters neater than the average Ossein, and she was still getting over a deep-seated adherence to schedule and protocol, but even so...

Out of the corner of her eye, Eice spotted @Tippi Snibit enter the cantina, and cast a glance over at him as he took a seat next to Dedric. He was, she had long ago noted, one of the few pilots aboard the flagship who was her own size; there did not seen to be any other Tintinna aboard ship, so the Chadra-Fan was about as close as she could get to her own kind. He seemed to show up just about wherever Dedric went...

Eice was returned from her musings by an idle question from Dedric. She raised her eyebrows. "Open schedule?" She suppressed the automatic urge to reach for a datapad and check. "I-I should, yes... not had much to fill it up since I came aboard..."
She contemplated her drink, before turning back to Dedric.
"Why do you ask?"

Dedric squinted at the Chadra'fan as he walked in already knowing what he was thinking. It was almost as if Tippi intentionally hid from Dedric just so he could give him a good ribbing later for leaving him behind. All the same the human always saved his brother from another mother a seat. The two had been fast friends when they first met. At first he had faked being able to understand him. Primarily the women in the clubs thought he was cute but unlike with a pet the women didn't stop paying attention to Tippi. So they forced Dedric to stop trying to use his new found furball friend to seduce women. As time went on Dedric started gathering what different gestures and charades meant and the different tones he used. Now it was more or less mutually understood. Dedric had his own double entendres that he mostly used just to amuse himself.

In response to Eice's return question he made a smug face. Raising his hand in a comical expression he answered her "I'm looking to get a new ship. Well....another ship I should say." Just as soon as the goofy portrayal had come it was gone again. "But the ship I want has got to have its own hyperdrive, big enough to live comfortably in. Plus I would prefer to not have to give up my Hawkbat." He threw a thumb over his shoulder towards the exit as if the interceptor was sitting just outside like some steed in an outer rim holo drama.

"Getting a ship like that won't be easy these days. Crewing it will probably be more than a one man job. So, who likes freedom, privacy, and the promise of profitable opportunity?" he looked up and down the bar at his fellow patrons with an expectant look. He did not want to sugar coat it and make it sound like some glorious flat-cake walk when it wouldn't be. At the same time it required a little hyping up. "You'll probably get paid too..." leaving the sentence hanging in the air hoping that might spark some incentive to anyone else that was on the fence.

"I'm going to assume that when you say 'getting' a ship you don't mean just buying one from the first salesman that we come across." Dorian had heard Dedric's request, having just walked past the bar on his way out of the cantina. The gathering of Ossein, both new and old, had also caught his eye and his curiosity was piqued. If they were going to go into something dangerous then it was his job as a Jazaq to help protect them as best as he could. He was off duty for the time being anyway and if need be he could serve as a guard for the crew of this man, as his ship would be counted as part of their overall fleet. His metallic voice was silent but not threatening, just curious as to what the man was wanting to do. It sounded like he already had a plan in mind, a thought that intrigued him.

"Ah, I forgot to introduce myself. Jazaq Dorian. If you're expecting any trouble with your...acquisition, then I'm willing to offer my aid. I've my own Pinnace to use, as well as a good shot with a rifle. While I hope there wouldn't be much danger for any of you, I'll do my best for you all. It is my duty to protect my fellow Ossein and it is one I gladly carry out as necessary." He looked to each one of them with his glowing eyes, knowing he would look odd to them. He had a smooth faceplate with expressive lights for his eyes that could be as expressive as an organic's eyes and eyebrows. The rest of his body was a smooth black metal, crafted for the same movement range as humanoid creatures, and the Starry Death's Head was engraved on his back. He wore a coat that covered most of his form and seemed to be without any weapons for the moment. He had them back in his fighter, not needing them when on board the Fleet itself. Hopefully they would take him along, his desire to help and protect them to be as true as could be.

Tippi hummed and chuckled and slapped his hands on the bar to indicate his interest in whatever Dedric was planning. Tippi liked freedom and profitable opportunity. He wasn't so much keen on privacy- in fact, Dedric had told him a number of times that walking in on him whenever he felt like it wasn't "appropriate". It was confusing to Tippi, to be honest. His family- all dozen of his brothers and sisters, and their parents and aunts and uncles and cousins and nieces and nephews and other relations- all lived practically on top of eachother, as was their custom. Being alone seemed like a really really terrible punishment, and Tippi couldn't imagine why anyone would do it to themselves on purpose. But, on the other hand, Tippi did like getting paid.

Tippi raised his glass and chittered positively to indicate he was in, whatever Dedric wanted to do. IT was about time for him and his wingmate to strike out on their own. Lots of Jazaq did it, and if the little tintina and the weird robot guy wanted to come along, then the more the merrier! Tippi loved making new friends, and these were two more people he could show the trinkets he made. Tippi chittered inquisitively for Dedric to tell them more about his plan. Getting a ship big enough for all of them sounded like it could be a lot of work. Tippi just hoped his friends plan wouldn't be too illegal.

Eice blinked, finishing off her "fortified" blue milk and adjusting her glasses. She bit her lower lip, looking contemplative.
On the one hand, if she knew anything about Dedric - and the Ossein in general - whatever would be involved in getting a ship would not be nearly so easy as the Morganian implied. She wondered, though, what it might be like... Eice had survived almost 2 weeks aboard a drone barge in deep space, surely if that hadn't killed her then she could handle whatever this was.
Right?

The Tintinna looked over at Tippi. The Chadra-Fan seemed positively gleeful at the prospect, but then Eice had always had a bit of trouble reading his expressions. As the newcomer introduced himself, however, she looked up, blinking as an apparent droid arrived. The newly minted Ossein couldn't help but stare.
The Elensalites were outside Eice's experience, though she had occasionally met manumitted droids. He proclaimed himself as a Jazaq, however, and that peaked her interest even more. The Jazaq, as far as the Tintinna had thus far been able to determine, were the Ossein warrior class. Most of the time it was hard to pick one out by looking at them, but Eice know that they apparently received a great deal of respect from the other Ossein, and that they apparently had unusual skills when it came to fighting and piloting.
Eice, for her part, found them a bit odd. She was used to security personnel with a good deal more standardization; Blackrow Risk Management troopers all had the same uniform, the same equipment...

"If there's pay... I-I guess I'll come." She finally said, smiling nervously. "It's not like I have much to do around here anyway... and a ship..."
Eice bit her lip again. A hyperspace capable ship... that had been her dream since she was only a pup. Even the opportunity merely to serve on one got her more excited than she cared to admit. And maybe this could be a stepping stone to one day, finally get her own such vessel.
She briefly thought back to the battered launch tucked away in a corner of the hangar deck.
"And I do have my own ship too... though it hasn't got a hyperdrive..."

Twirling on his barstool he faced the voice of the darkly dressed individual. Apparently more people were listening in than he had originally realized. It was not something he did not welcome but was something he was not really expecting. Dedric looked the man up and down as an answer to his first question. The human hated Ship Dealerships for many reasons which is why he bought any and all of his vessels second hand or from private owners.

The metalic skinned being continued to speak and surprisingly friendly as well. Dedric was a Jazaq as well but he did not introduce himself with the title on a regular basis. Then again the only people he saw on a regular basis was Tippi. The other people present were the only familiar faces he had recently acquainted with aside from the service staff of food shops. But Dedric gave this Dorian character a scrutinizing expression as he weighed his wort before finally responding. "Well I don't exactly know where this adventure will take us but if you want to join...the more the merrier."

He could clearly hear Tippi's chittering behind him and already knew his friend was in. Eice he only heard half pf her first sentence before he turned his head to see what she was saying. Hearing her agree as well Dedric nodded. "Lovely. It's settled then. When we reach Fondor, which is in about.... He looked at his durable wrist chrono to confirm his thoughts before he put them into words. "...nine hours away, we can start looking for an amiable mobile residence. Any questions? He looked around to see if anyone, especially Tippi, had any queeries pertinent to the job.

All Dorian did to affirm his commitment to join the operation, and thus the crew of this ship, was give a solemn nod. He trusted and believed in his fellow Ossein and it seemed like this Dedric had a plan of some sort to acquire a ship. Fondor was a good place to do so, not as fiercely defended as Corellia yet not too far away to be devoid of the kind of ships they would need. He had a sneaking suspicion that they were going to experience some trouble, so he had a question or two to ask just to be sure. "Do you have any ideas on what kind of trouble we're going to run in to? And is there a preference on type of ship you would like? While the actual array of targets is still unknown, it may be best to plan out what we DO know to try to maximize the chance of success. One does not simply walk into Fondor, nor any of its space docks for its ships. Preparation will be key."

Tippi pounded his little fist on the bar with an excited chuckle. He waved down the bartender and twirled his finger in the air to signal another round. Tippi liked the idea of waling into Fondor unprepared, no idea what kind of trouble they were walking into, no preparation, and chasing down whatever ship caught Dedrics fancy. It sounded like a grand adventure, and Tippi loved adventures. He didn't have much in the way if questions. Of course, there was plenty of practical ones- who was going to pay for all of this? Where were they going to find this sort of ship? Who was going to fly it? Where would Tippi sleep in this new ship? Bah- who was he kidding? Tippi would sleep anywhere. He was sure Dedric knew what he was doing. His wingmate would never lead all of his friends into certain doom.

As the bartender droid brought a second round for everyone, Tippi raised his glass of lomin-ale, standing in his seat, extending his tiny arm to the max so everyone present could take part in this toast. To adventure! He squawked at his friends, new and old. Nobody had objected to the idea hard enough to spark any significant debate, and Dedrics idea sounded like a load of fun. It didn't really matter to Tippi if any of it worked out in the long run, as long as they all made it back alive. What was the worst that could really happen?

Eice raised her eyebrows, blinking in surprise. So there was no plan? The little Tintinna wasn't sure how to feel about that; she had, after all, spent most of her life strictly adhering to one plan or another. Then again, most of the Ossein she had met never seemed to have much of a plan for anything, and they seemed to do alright...
She gave a shrug, and popped the last of he coin-crabs into he mouth.
"I-I know something about spaceports... not Fondor specifically, but if where we're going is anything like the Blackrow yards around Corellia, I can probably find my way around..."
She straightened her glasses.
"There's not... any way we could get hold of the layout, could we?"

There was a great deal of enthusiasm, more so than he expected. Actually he expected as much from Tippi but generally less from the others. The man raised a glass to salute his small-furred-friend. The Tintinna however seemed concerned with the endeavor and the details thus far. "Relax whiskers we are going to look at ships, not rob a bank. Why do you want the something like that? It's just a orbital station."

Eice was not the only one with concerns. The metallic skinned comrade seemed to pose a few of his own. Wait...is it a he or is it an it? Does it have all the fun bits below the belt? the man shook his head before he thought about it too much. "Something that can either fit my Hawkbat interceptor preferably. Enough space for my crew and I to live comfortably. Hyperdrive, lasers, you know...the basics. Plus it would help if it was a reliable model." basically he wanted his dream ship but he knew he was not going to find one unless he built it. There was a better chance he was going to happen on some freighter with little to anything working. His family's Nerf herder light freighter might be a better choice at that point but the man was planning on selling it to cover the costs. "At the moment we just need to get to Fondor. Once there, THEN we can formulate a fool proof plan. It's not like i'm going to buy a flotilla."

With that said he stood up to go use the toilet when a slight jolt through the bulkhead rattled the entire bar. In truth it was actually the entire ship that was rattled thanks to the exiting of hyperspace. The blue glow of lightspeed was gone from the viewports on the far side of the bar and instead replaced with a field of stars. "I think we are here. Grab your things and meet me in hangar cresh. Then the man paid his bill and waved a hand in the air like a mob boss leaving the casino he owned. It was more just his buzzed confidence but he thought the day was off to a good start.

Tippi tittered in excitement as he fished out a mixed wad of credits and wupiupis to pay for the round of drinks he'd bought. Unlike the others, Tippi wasn't too concerned about not having a plan. Things always just sort of worked out for the most part it seemed, and he didn't have any reason to think that would change now. He was already thinking about how fun it would be exploring all the new cubbies and crawl spaces in a new ship, and all the tinkering he could do, and who knew what other adventures they would have in there. Tippi slid his money across the bar- probably overpaying, but oh well, droids deserved tips too- and hopped down off his seat to chase after Dedric. As he tottered away, he turned back to Eice and his funny new droid friend Dorian- he shrugged at them and chittered something upbeat. They needn't worry.

Now that they were getting read to leave, Tippi only had a few things he wanted to know. Waddling along behind Dedric wherever he went, Tippi grunted inquisitively, jabbed a thumb in his own chest, and then made manuvers with his hands as if they were a pair of fighters- asking what Tippi was going to fly to get down to Fondor. He pointed back toward their new group of friends at the cantina and did a quick count on his fingers- obviously there was too many of them to fit in Tippi and Dedrics interceptors. That would be a very tight fit and uncomfortable ride, Tippi thought. If they were going to take one of the freighters, Tippi would need to run and pack a bag with some snacks.
