Crix brought The Highwind out of hyperspace, the elongated starlines snapping to place as the Corellian light freighter switched back to it's sublight engines. The Smuggler was impressed with how much smoother the transitions were since he'd upgraded to a military grade power core. The sound of armored boots behind him alerted him to Raz's arrival.
The Smuggler turned in his seat and smiled at her. "Just in time," he said as he leveled the nose of the ship to land on a planet view of Ord Mantell.
"We'll be on the ground in a few minutes," he hesitated a moment and then said, "Thanks for coming along Raz."
Crix wasn't very good at expressing his gratitude, but he hoped she knew how much her help meant to him. This mission wasn't anything out of their scope of practice. Back when he was her sidekick they did smash and grab hits like this all of the time, and he had a feeling this mission would feel like old times.
The Scoundrel set his ship down at the same spaceport he and Leah had escaped from a few months back and he smiled the memory of her flipping off The Dapper Devil made him laugh. Rusty had tipped them off about the favored chop shop run by the Azure Twilight Captain, Daz Beletoph. Their goal was to get in and out without leaving any trace of their presence on the site. Of course, Crix, planned to make it look like the shop went up in an "accidental" explosion. Best way to hide your tracks was to blow them up, right? Right.
Crix was clad in his Ranger Scout armor over his chest piece, he wore a rugged leather jacket, and around his hips, he wore his gunbelt. A newly acquired Quickdraw blaster rested on the right in a reverse holster and his DH-7 on the left in it's thigh holster. He tucked a couple charges into one of the pouches on his belt, then he slid his helmet on and tuned his comm to her frequency.
"Ready when you are boss," he said as he slung a leg over one of the two 15-A Locust Speeder Bikes.
