Social open to anyone (within reason), death disabled, time is fluid in this rp so this is supposed to allow anyone to join regardless of time period. Remember that Senators can't engage in combat so don't be a jerk and fight them (but maybe give them a show) but other Republic characters are fair game. Enjoy!

♠ THEME ♠
Once again Koil sat in the Fox Hole Pub. The viewing screens were replaying all the fights of the torunament. Dax, Revy, Dalyn and Crystal had emerged victorious after the first round. Now it was replaying the fight where Dax faced Revy were facing one another on Umbara. Koil had spent a fair amount of time there training new members of the Werda Verda. The former Death Watch's base of operations had been located there but numerous memories were associated with the world forever cast in shadow. Thankfully the holo-projections and the viewing screens lining the pub had the foresight to have low light recording so the bar in its livelihood would be able to see the following events without issue.

On other screens were the fight between Dalyn and Crystal. Koil was eager to see Singing Badger in action. The old friend was a seasoned warrior. Crystal on the other hand was a relative neophyte but had made it this far and for once the Silent Badger did not want to calculate the possible outcomes. It would be more entertaining to watch.

Looking at what each person had again, Koil could only laugh inside his kih beskar'gam. A short tumbler glass holding tihaar served neat was in his pale fingers but he was pacing himself. The real party had yet to begin. Every person that entered the bar had him looking over his shoulder. Not because he was expecting trouble, quite the contrary. Instead he was keeping an eye out for an invited guest, Keira Zale and Chancellor of the republic. Already a few Republic officers and dignitaries had made their way into the bar.

Outside there even was a large screen projecting the fights. The War Council had made a donation to fund a large viewing for any and all Mandalorians along with Republic citizens that were willing to make the trip. This would be the first time many outsiders had set foot on a Mandalorian planet. The Mand'alor and the associated leadership knew that everybody fitting into one pub would not work so the lot behind it, more or less an actual field, was enough space for people to socialize and enjoy the show.

Koil stepped away from the bar, patting people on the back he recognized. Some people outstretched their arms which he clasped firmly. Words of solidarity and merriment were shouted. "Get this warrior whatever she wants!" He pointed at the supercommando that had helped him with the hostage situation on Ambria. She was the first but not the last warrior would would be drinking on his tab. What else do I spend credits on anyways?

There were various games of chance available. Knife throwing boards were open if someone wanted to try their hand at it. Throwing bags of seed into holes on boards, tables filled with cups in turn partially containing ale. Tonight many of them would party to the spirit of their fallen comrades and to the future of their people as well as the joint relations with the Republic allies. Of course they were also here to see how entertaining it would be for the four contestants did on the path to becoming the winner of this tournament.

The War Councilor found his way outside into the dark evening air. It was night time on Concord Dawn but each planet had their own time zone. Dxun, where Dalyn and Crystal fought, it was still day time. But the night air was still a comfortable temperature and the starlit sky showed the relative bright light of Concord Dawn's three beautiful moons. Stepping up onto a table he raised his glass over his helmet. "I don't want to see ANY empty glasses unless your face down on the floor. Can I get an OYA!?" He pointed at the Zabrak knowing he was going to end up face down with a boot on his head sooner rather than later. "Your cup better still be full regardless, Crasher Badger! A smile was clear on his face. He was in high spirits and he was not afraid to show it.

Omnis had two things going for him: He'd never been a very famous person off the stage, and when he was with the Jedi and GA he was always either in his fighter or undercover for his missions. That was why he felt confident coming into the Fox Hole Pub that day, having left his lightsaber back in his fighter to act like just another patron wanting to watch the re-runs of the tournament. It was an opportunity that the Jedi Knight wanted to take, as when he was working on evacuating Jedha he had time to ponder the situation he was in. He realized that he didn't really know much about the Mandalorians, besides what he had heard during his upbringing in the Empire, and what news he had heard during his time with the GA. He'd never had a meaningful or long interaction with one directly, something that he was now mentally kicking himself for. He wanted to understand the culture, to see why they hated Force users so much, and he couldn't do that with second-hand information that was most likely prejudiced before it even got to him. So, for now he was masquerading as his ancestor Dennys as he kicked in the door to the Pub, without causing damage of course, intent on having as much fun as he could while being just as eccentric.

"WHOO, TOURNAMENT! I'm so glad there's a place replaying this, I missed it the first time around. I'm so goddamned stoked. Hey, bartender! A round for everyone on me, let's get this party kicked up a notch!" Instead of his usual attire, Omnis was wearing his ancestor's preferred clothing: A red floral-print shirt and khaki shorts with sandals, something a tourist would wear on any planet in the galaxy. His eyes were shining as he looked around the room, then over to the screens. "I wish I was able to take part in these kinds of things, should really get the blood pumping, even if I got my butt kicked. I like to think I'm good in a fight, but I'm no Mandalorian." For now he would wait to see who else showed up, though he'd just enjoy himself regardless. He hoped no one would recognize him and call him out for being a Jedi, a certain death sentence in present company, but he wasn't here to be a Jedi that day, anyway. This was personal, a literal vacation, and maybe he'd even make some friends that day that he wouldn't have been able to otherwise. He took his beer, taking a big gulp and giving a grin afterwards. Not bad, he felt he'd be able to quite enjoy this place.

Sumas was always up for a party. So when he heard Koil had prepared another one for the tournament he was quickly on his way back to Concord Dawn. As he shut his ship down he ran a hand through his black hair and slid his helmet on before turning to leave. He was looking forward to this quite a bit. He also hoped his invitation

As was usual by now he made his way to the bar and ordered a drink but he didn't take his helmet off. Instead he opted for a straw until the "tradition" was over, then he'd take his helmet off. He was busy standing by one of the screens, watching as Crystal went head to head against Dalyn. Dalyn was more experienced but Crystal proved resourceful. Plus her arsenal could prove interesting if she managed to land a hit.

His attention moved to Koil Solus who decided to address the crowd. He looked really happy today...did he finally get a girlfriend? "It'll stay full, Alor, don't worry!" he called out, giving a thumbs-up before sipping further on his drink. He had sent out an invitation to a few other people as well, though he was curious whether they would show up or not.

Timmen had been in concord Dawn on selling his weapons: 2 crates of blasters and 3 crates of Blaster Cartridges. He had sold half of his stock which left him with enough credits for fuel and a small meal. He was tired from the day, As was Besk'in and seeing the Fox hole Pub seemed like a good place to go and catch some of the fights hed missed. A cantina is usually not be the best place to take a kid but seeing as he was on Concord Dawn and the numbers of Mando'ade moving in and out he thought he'd chance it.

"Come on Besk'in, we're heading over to get some food!"

He called after the boy, who'd been playing with some new found friends.

"Foooood!"

Besk'in Squealed, quickly running to join his father. Together the two entered the cantina, sitting down in a booth. He ordered two bowls of boiled mealgrain and a pitcher of Ne'tra Gal. He poured a small amount for Besk'in, diluting it heavily with water. Besk'in smiled at the drink and the two began eating. Looking over the holoscreens as they did. Timmen loved the tournaments, as did Besk'in and it was hard on a trip to sit down for a while and enjoy them in good company such as the rowdy and joyful individuals in The Fox Hole. Even if some were non-mando

Timmen had felt interrupted by omnis' shouts. Was he looking for a fight? Something seemed wrong with this outsider and having met few non-Mandalorians he was interested in taking theopportunity to meet this one.

"Hukaatir"

He instructed Besk'in who had been able to uncover his head in the privacy of the booth. He frowned at the order but as Timmen placed his helmet on his head, he began wrapping his head.

Timmen arose from the table, leaving Besk'in and walking over to the (unbenounced to him) jedi.

"Thanks for the drink aruetii, care to join my Adiik and I?"

The Republic Vice Chancellor has never been on Concord Dawn before. Or anywhere in the Mandalorian home space. Or anywhere outside the the Core Worlds or Inner Rim for that that matter. Anyways, Alton has some time off and it's a chance to to possibly make some new Mandalorian friends, and maybe some other friends. So why not? Keira is going to be here as well he heard.

Alton arrived in the Fox Hole Pub not too long ago, wearing casual clothing. No need for business attire here. He can already see a lot of Mandalorians in their signature armor. It's packed and it's lively. There are quite a few non-Mandalorians as well, some other Republic officals and officers, or at least patrons who aren't wearing the armor.

Watching replays of the some of the fights it's clear the Mand'alor has sense of humor. Someone's staff having... sticky stuff on it. Having a rubber chicken attached to their armor? Someone having pink armor? And that's just first round. Wow. The Mandalorians are a fascinating and colorful culture that's for sure.

Alton did see a guy in a red flowery shirt kick the door open and then said around is on him. Well, that's exciting. Not something you see every day. He chuckled and with that Alton would then get a brandi from the bar he's sitting at. He'd get up and socialize, but he's pretty shy in an environment he isn't fully used to.

Skylar slipped in behind the Senator, doing a kind of double-take as he did so. He knew that the Republic was trying to build ties with the Mandalorians, yet having their Vice Chancellor here of all places was...unexpected. It was nice to see, though, and that was why he didn't think too much more on it as he made his way over by Sumas. Of course he kept his armor on as well, though he ordered a drink that he thought wouldn't be as bad as the other ones. The other man, whom he had gotten to know very well by this point, was incredibly optimistic and had convinced the Shistavanen of the values of alcohol, as well as to trust in himself when drinking it. He had learned a lot of things from the Solus, in fact, and every time he saw the man he felt his day had immediately gotten better. His armor had been modified to allow his tail to poke out and wag when in a more relaxed setting, which it was doing quite a bit when he stood next to Sumas. It wasn't even a thing he noticed, and he was the only one that happened with. Despite having been defeated by Revy in his fight, he still wished her the best in moving on through the tournament. He knew that this was a replay of the rest of the matches, but he still treated it like the real thing.

TRACK CHANGE

A lot of things had happened in such a short amount of time as Koil had taken his eyes off the screen. It seemed that there was some extreme sexual tension between @Dalyn Solus and @Crystal Kryze on the big screen. It was a bit odd but just as entertaining. People were laughing their butts off at how comical the whole thing was in between the cheering. Lewd jokes in Mando'a were beginning to become the primary subject for most people.

The hype over how rediculous the fight between the Singing Badger and Crystal had made Koil miss what exactly had happened between @Dax Vizsla and @Revora Musana Kelborn . The Cathar Mandalorian seemed to have been taken down, possibly out. Thankfully the screen was showing a replay. Both fights looked like they were possibly coming to an end.

There were a few Republic representatives that had made their way into the crowd. There was more than before but Koil wished he could have seen some more. He wanted to see the two factions become more friendly towards one another. Seeing as how he planned to assist with the training of some of the Republic's troops it would be nice to see some of them mix.

One person was spotted out from the rest. Alton Hawkes. The man was the Vice Chancellor and was well known enough for his youthful appearance to stick out among all the helmets and broken noses that the Mandalorians tended to sport. The Echani made his way over to the politician.

He spoke in basic since he doubted many of the Republic citizens present spoke Mando'a. "Vice Chancellor. I hope you're enjoying yourself." He looked the drink he had ordered. "I'm War Councilor Koil Solus. I figured we would meet sooner or later. Hopefully the available drinks are to your liking." After that he moved a little bit closer to the bar beside the Vice Chancellor and ordered another brightly colored drink with a silly straw. It just never felt right to drink whisky with a straw. The foo-foo drinks were just meant to be consumed with a straw. Plus Koil had to admit it was funny to watch people stare at him, a guy with a more reserved reputation, consuming a contrasting beverage.

"Hold on one moment. I just want to make an announcement." He said after their introductions and moved over to a large holo-scoreboard usually meant for keeping tallies on bar games. Turning back towards the rest of the party he cupped a free hand in front of his helmet. "Attention! Anybody who can beat me in a game of chance will get a prize!"

The War Councilor marked up the board. It listed a quickdraw, thermal detonators, a dropship, a CZ MSBR, corsec knockout grenades, and last but not least, the two crimson lightsabers that personally belonged to Darth Victress. Afterwards he turned back around and held his hands away from his side. "Any takers?" It would be good for some of the people present to also be part of some competition instead of just watching. Plus it was always a pleasure for them to probably beat him at something. Moral was important and Koil had plenty of equipment to spare. "OR....you can have a year's worth of free drinks." He thought since plenty of the Republic politicians did not seem like the type to really want grenades and guns. It would be interesting to see if any of them would step up to the game.

That's Koil alright. Alton looked up at the War Councilor The one who defeated and decapitated Darth Victress in a hard fought battle on Geonosis. Alton is someone who detests violence, but if he had to be honest it couldn't have happened to a better person. There are just some people that if die the galaxy would be a better place, it's unavoidable.

Alton would smile at the War Councilor. "Everything is great. Thank you, sir. Pleasure to met you too" he responded and nodded back back to him.

The straw that the War Councilor has with his new drink, is silly Alton had a slight chuckle.

The when Koil was making that announcement Alton was listenning in. A game of chance for a prize? That sounds fun. When the War Councilor had that holoboard up that listed all the prizes, it listed some grenades as prizes, as well as a CZ MSBR and a Quickdraw, and a drop ship. Well, Alton sure doesn't need a dropship, and he doesn't even know what a CZ or Quickdraw exactly is as he has no interest in blasters. But... lightsabers belonging to Darth Victress or a years worth of free drinks. Ah, that got him pondering.

Lightsaber or a year of free drinks

"Lightsaber... or year of free drinks..." he muttered silently as he thought.

Alton would stand up from his seat, normally shy, but enough alcohol is making him feel a bit brave. He'd gesture towards the war councilor.

"I'll play you at a game of pazaak for a lightsaber" he said to Koil with his accented voice, grinning as he declared he'd participate in the fun. Honestly Alton doesn't really drink much and having his own lightsaber would be pretty damn cool even if he couldn't use a regular knife if his life depended on it. Let a alone a lightsaber.

Dalyn grinned and raised his glass of tihaar high as the crowd gave a cheer for his takedown of @Crystal Kryze, the redness of his face from the warmth of the bar and the booze served as cover for his blush. He certainly hadn't intended to shoot his opponent with an aphrodisiac and at the time had simply thought she had more fighting spirit than her brother. A catcall in Mando'a that the Singing Badger had put heat between both Kyrzes' nethers, for very different reasons, left him choking with laughter. Unlike most of his kin Dalyn had eschewed his full armor for the evening, instead wearing a loose black tunic with comfortable pants and a sleeveless long-coat with the image of a Solus Badger playing a bes'bev stitched into the back.

Turning his back on the screens as they cut to two armored figures entering the Battle Circle, Dalyn approached @Koil Solus from behind and clapped a hand down on his shoulder while grinning at the Vice Chancellor. "Cards, dice, the finger dance; name your game, vod! I keep getting thrown at Sith soldiers and that lightsaber'll certainly leave less blood than my hammer!"
