So, another episode up to watch on WatchDisneyXD, which might indicate it being a standard for the series going forward, and not just a little bonus for the premiere.
The story is kind of a follow up to last episodes, concerning Ezra having saved Zeb's life from Kallus, and the two then having to survive a trip to the market together after Hera kicks them off the ship for getting into a fight.
Highlights of the episode for me:
At the same time... Yeah, now I'm feeling some of the sentiment that last time's plot wasn't necessarily suited for Zeb, given how he acts in this episode (especially when he gets into the cockpit, sheesh). It feels like something that may have benefited from the writers having had more time to figure out the character, and how to seed the elements in beforehand, rather than it being something for the third episode. There's also more Imperial dickery, though at least this time its probably to do with direct Imperial policy, rather than something on a whim. Still, the officer is just kinda unnecessarily evil about it. Though he also doesn't prove dumb either so... mixed bag.
The resolution might feel a bit rushed from a character development point of view, since, yeah, third episode, so stuff's not so much established. Which has me kinda worrying next week back fall back to the initial status quo without proper adjustments.

- An Irish Rodian
- The use of Binary Sunset as a kind of force cue
- The return of Baron Ruhdor, aka, the buttmonkey pilot
- A TIE Fighter being flown around above a town. Brings back memories of Rogue Squadron
- Some new Imp vehicles
- Stormtrooper armour is actually worth something (albeit only a bit)
