Zen, you should not have to wait for an admin to get on your case about profiles. If numerous members say that your character is ridiculous, you need to listen to them. Listen to what Sheo said.
What is going to happen with this?wookiepedia abuot Corellia said:When the war ended, although Corellia and the rest of the Confederation made peace, they did not rejoin the Galactic Alliance, but did resolve post-war disputes 2 years later by Turr Phennir on the alliance capital of Coruscant.
Yes although I don't keep up on the EU as much as I would like to, I recently read in the wookiepedia article about Corellia:
What is going to happen with this?
Yeah, we don't want your Nonomyths be the cause of a new rule of staff inspection before usage. Afterall, we know that the staff are just so quick about getting back to you on stuff.
*shrug* he is an admin. If you ever find that character I suppose you can have another admin look at it.
Thanks. I was thinking, even though I'm super new here, why do we start off with factions already warring. This kind of leaves off the creativity from the RP status. I understand that the republic is "fearing" the Sith. But why can't the Jedi decide if it wants to help the republic or not? Also Why do we create inner factions such as the RMC/RMA/S13/ whatever and just have the RPers create their own junk? That way, it doesn't seem as forced.Since that was 1,000 years ago (basically) we'll probably state that they reintegrated in to the Federation at some point.
However, the ever-present 'rebellious' streak the Corellians have could prove for interesting RP in this timeline.
Regardless, I'll bring it up in the Think Tank.
That just leads to stagnation. Building up to a war works when you're not relying on a large number of people to all create story to get to the war.
We tried going the 'natural' approach before with Factions and it failed badly.
Also, there needs to be a balance in the RP to start off. If the Jedi, Mandalorians, Alliance, and Imperial Knights, and Chiss all gang up on the Sith there goes the timeline in like... 4 months.
We can't have RPers going wild with the Main Factions; ie creating their own mini-groups, or else the Faction becomes impossible to manage and, hey, bam, timeline done in 4 months.

If they all were to do that and they were to crush the Sith, there'd be plenty of room for more conflict. The alliance, the mandos, and chiss all aren't fond of each other. The Imperial Knights would probably be trying to get back their empire. And the surviving members of the Sith would be trying to squirm their way back into the control of any of the surviving empires.
The worst thing would be that the Mandos or the Chiss aren't exactly card carrying villains but a massacre attributed to them wouldn't be out of the wild blue.
I'm still a bit new to this site, but I was wondering once the fifth timeline arrives, can we continue using our old characters? I mean do we need to retire them or can we still use them in rps not centered around the main story?
I thought they were talking about that kind of stuff happening ICly, not before or right after the start. That even if it did, it wouldn't mean the end of the timeline.
