The Toxic Force​

This definitely won't be for the meek and feeble. Haruun Kal is a poisonous planet with dangerous life forms that aren't the most welcoming.

Still, since the Wookie states that the planet was bombed but three Korunnai survived, I think it might be fun to go on a little tour and see what we can find. We might only find Balawai, but that depends on how the ruling over the planet goes. Feel free to post interest in this. Probably only suitable for higher Paddies and Knights. We might also need a course in Detoxify Poison and the like before departing as well. It would take a full year of study to learn to use the technique and any other necessary skills, though, but placing you in the environment might speed up that process. And the entire planet isn't poison, but that doesn't mean we won't be descending from the mountains. ;)

I'll be taking Sebastian Solborne with me. (The other two I'm ignoring for the time being, so sorry about those classes :/)
I also might be doing more of these and for more militaristic purposes in the future. We'll take this for a test-drive, though, and see how it goes. I'm looking for three max.

Roy would enjoy going, might give a chance for Roy and Solborn to get to know each other before becoming possible padawan and master. Will this be taking part during or after the sister of palpatine's eye quest?

I might be interested with Ashara if it's just for data collecting.

If you need someone a little more adventurous/tech savvy/combat based, then Tross can accompany. He has his own shuttle which can carry this small group (4 passengers).

Teynara: I'm sure she's capable of handling herself.
Roy: I've promised you a thread for a month now.
Fyston: He's just perfect for the role.

Crinlin: This will be a more serious mission. If you can't handle yourself well enough, you'd only be a hindrance (just being honest >.> D:)
Mav: You're activity is low and you're behind but you now want a congressperson...that needs to be fixed >.> ;) (We don't need any more unreliables in the group...)

I'm promising nothing until Friday, but I will certainly try beforehand.

Just to keep this going a bit. I feel this would be a great way to improve oneself other than sitting in a temple and conversing with other Jedi. However, it's also not throwing you into the war against PCs. Is this a good middle ground? I mean, I ruled people our for not being capable, so probably not entirely. However, there will be others (if I can actually stick with this) with other purposes, tasks.

I know we have Missions, for this, but I feel they're too scripted and formal. I tried to do several of them and none of them were finished except one. I feel if it's more open and 'spur of the moment' that interest will be higher and possibilities grander. Also, the added perk of not needing an NPC unless we have one that wishes to participate or when we might want one. Flexibility is always good.

Feedback? (I guess I should wait until after we start this...but any initial thoughts?)

So I guess Crinlin can be a replacement or Roy can just walk away. Fyston, feel free to RP that happening. However, if Crinlin is just going to die in the wilderness (taking what you said at face value) then there wouldn't be any point in joining. Still, I don't think Mav needs to be a part of this since he's busy with other things. So, ultimately, a slot has opened with a position for someone with some kind of wilderness training. (Bounty Hunting does not count as wilderness training)

I can if you need me to. I'm starting to get into the groove of things and can handle it. I mean, I only have 2 threads with Tuwan (which are mostly inactive), one with Tross that is just a social thread at this point and 2 with Ashara that are mostly active and three others that are pretty slow. So yeah... I can handle it.

However, if someone else is interested, then they get priority of course.

I'll be waiting there with Ashara because Tross doesn't have the necessary skills in the Force to survive/be helpful.
Either way, she's more there to make sure no one gets killed or does anything stupid...

Um, whenever, I guess. It'll be by the next round or the round after that we'll actually reach the planet. You can set up some stuff if you want, but otherwise, feel free to wait and I'll just VM you when you're up. We'll be landing in Balawai country and then escape into Korunnai territory shortly after. The basic plot is learning about the Korunnai but I'll be throwing in some other stuff if the participation and interest is high enough for it. There will be fights/duels/wars/etc. It should be interesting. :D
