Do i need to start as a jedi hopeful, or can i skip to a padawan?

Do i need to be trained by some one or can i start rping now?

Well you're still a hopeful until you get a master, and you can still rp as a hopeful or padawan, but you have to remember: a padawan, regardless of his attributes, has little to no training, and would therefore get pwned in the galaxy by a lot of skilled criminals.

First of all, you should really post question like this in this thread. You can start as a Padawan and start RPing now. Getting trained is just if you want to ascend to Knight.

But i thought you weren't a padawan until you have a master training you?

You aren't a Knight until someone trains you, but generally everyone starts out as Padawan, it being the official lowest rank in the JO. Technically speaking, you're right, as Padawan is someone who engages in serious training, but here everyone, unless they're RPing young characters, is able to start out at the basic Padawan rank.

I'll train him. Make a training thread in the Jedi Temple thing on CORUSCANT. So far, there are no training threads in that one, so I want to pioneer that lol.
