  • Fenrir'Nati was born on Dom-Bradden in the small town of Re'Kal. His parents were scientists, his father being a studied biochemist and his mother being an engineer. He grew up admiring his parents' jobs, but he found that he had less admiration for his parents as people. His father, Fenrir'Ger, was horribly abusive towards him and his mother. Ger blamed it on his experiences in the Chee Jela, though specifics were never mentioned. He was narcissistic manipulative, which was probably how he was able to keep the two of them for so long. They lived in a golden cage. Everything looked nice, from their home to their dress outward appearances made them look perfect. That was all a lie, no one except for the three of them knowing what really went on. As empty apologies, Ger would often buy gifts or other material goods for his son and his partner to little success.

Nati along with his mother would face near daily verbal and at times even physical abuse at the hands of Ger, which went on from the time Nati was age five up until he was twelve. By the time he was twelve, his mom had left Ger without saying a single word while taking her son with her. She was sick and tired of the yelling, the fear the two of them faced over simple mistakes or misunderstandings. She set up an apartment on Corellia for them to live in then disappeared from Ger's life in an instant. He was toxic, too toxic, not worth trying to fix when the cost was emotional stability for her kid.

For the next three years Nati would be broken, a constant depression flooded into him as he grew extremely paranoid of being yelled at or assaulted for making a mistake. He became a perfectionist almost as a survival mechanism from the years he spent dealing with his father. He wasn't socially adjusted by any means, and was forced into acting mature prematurely due to his trauma early in life. To cope with the yelling and aggressive behavior he confined himself to his room, often locking the door so that Ger wouldn't be allowed entry. Sometimes it worked, other times it didn't, but he found himself often going online to either listen to music, play a game, or whatever else on his computer. This way of dealing with issues persisted past his time with Ger, using his computer and electronics near daily when not busy with schooling.

Over time his interest in technology blossomed into something more, a love for engineering. His mother had opened a droid and ship repair shop on Corellia shortly following their moving there, so to learn the craft wasn't all that difficult. At thirteen he began working with his mom in the shop, apprenticing for several years with her to know both how to create droids, vehicles, etc. as well as repair broken ones. It was something he really enjoyed, he could he useful.

Around the same time his mother taught him the in's and out's of combat and swordplay. It was usually a Nav'ir tradition carried out by the father, but since he was.. unavailable it was left to her. The training focused in on use of a single handed weapon paired with the use of fast and acrobatic movements. The closest equivalent to this form of combat would be a mix of Ataru and Niman, minus the force augmented kicks and flips of course. He was trained to be versatile in combat, flow and dance with his opponent as they fight.

Around the time he was fifteen he got in with the rough crowd in his school, persons that were labeled punks or lost causes by some people. It was a bit of a random thing. One of his soon to be friends just called him over out of nowhere, from there he got to know the group and would often hang out with said group whenever he could. He found that he related to his new group of friends more than he did most others. They were the people that faced similar traumas or liked things that he liked.

Finding others that were like him gave him a bit of confidence, and through years of being around them he became very protective over them. He grew out of being that scared kid that couldn't handle aggression into someone that wouldn't take it from anybody. It seemed as though they were what he needed. He crawled out his shell and by seventeen was more social and confident in himself, though he still had his issues. Two good years could hardly erase eight years of abuse, but it did give him a boost in self-esteem among other things.

He found out that he was force sensitive shortly after he finished schooling at eighteen. A sudden incident brought him to discovering his latent abilities, with that being a random fall of all things. He was running an errand for his mom, picking up some droid parts, and tripped on a loose wire on the ground of the store after buying the parts. Rather than landing flat on his face and having the bits of metal scatter all over the floor, he found himself floating a few centimeters off the ground for a second or two. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he quickly picked himself back up and went home.

Once home he looked into the force, he knew what it was and what it could do but he wasn't sure how he could suddenly have his kind of power. He spent weeks looking into the force's applications, looking over history and what the sith and jedi were as well as any other groups relating to the force. Soon he found himself on Coruscant, a sith controlled world, trying to find a sith to speak with. He wanted to train in the force, learn more about it first hand and generally research it. One aspect of the force specifically caught his attention, which was sith alchemy and sorcery. For the force to be able to alter living things and bend things to the user's will was fascinating to him.

Purely for research purposes he ended up finding a sith priest on Coruscant, and from there he was indoctrinated into the inquisition. Now three years later, he turned from an interested civilian into a formal initiate of the sith order wanting to figure out the practical applications of the darkside and the force in general in the modern world.

  • Nati is reserved, independant and a bit antisocial. He doesn't have much social skills to speak of, with Common not being his accustomed way of communication. It can be hard for him to get ideas out, either by not knowing certain words or being anxious about mispronouncing them. He'll sometimes even go so far as to write out messages at times. He is fluent in Ryl, so when all else fails he will often mix Ryl and common to help substitute words or even entire sentences he doesn't know how to say. He isn't really one to start conversations, or lead them most the time, mainly because he has a certain level of social anxiety and isn't sure how to deal with a conversation once it turns into an awkward silence. His social circles are purposely kept small, as he isn't the best in keeping in contact with more than a handful of friends at a time and he likes to give as much attention to every individual as he can in order to have meaningful friendships.

Outside of the communication barrier with most people, he's kind of shy. He isn't one for parties, events or big crowds in general. He can be extremely introverted when his social battery dies, confining himself to his room, ship or somewhere he can just be alone for a time. Past the shy feline exterior though, he can be incredibly protective and even aggressive when it comes to things he cares about. He doesn't take shit from people, and will actively attack someone with words or physically if they mistreat him or someone he cares for. He won't tolerate abuse in any form, verbal or otherwise, towards himself or anyone else for that matter. He likes to think of himself as the "big brother" almost, being there for his friends and loved ones. He will rarely if ever lie to those who he trusts, and prefers open communication of ideas rather than keeping secrets.

His main life goal would be happiness, as selfish as that can be. He wants to improve himself, become stronger in the force and better understand things. He wants knowledge, love, power. He loves learning about things like history, science, etc. and has a special interest in seeing the practical applications of alchemy and sorcery in the modern world. He tends to enjoy learning new things in general from trivial knowledge to major scientific or force related discoveries.

I'm not Relentsenpai but can give my two cents. If that's OK?

Your character is fine! It's just not my style and, if you care why, read on.

1) Lack of dialogue.

For me dialogue is the bread and butter of role-play. I understand not talking very much is part of his personalty, but it limits the character IMO; it sets him up to be... flat. Now maybe he will talk more than you let on, but taking the profile at face value it leads me to believe that you wont get any of those truly great moments... that perfectly placed snark(humor), deceptive wording that keeps one engaged and wanting more, those heavy lines that make a true emotional impact. I don't know, mang, I simply wouldn't create a character with this personalty but maybe you can pull it off! I may be too lame for it.

2)The lack of a truly impactful event in the history.

I understand a lot of people prefer this style for profiles because it can offer a lot of insight into a character. But I find that it often come off as too plain(boring) or too corny. I feel like this leans more towards the plain side, there's no—again, IMO—significant event that draws me in and keeps me wanting to learn more.

Anyway, sorry if this came off as harsh or anything.

Decided to like, completely rewrite his backstory to give him more of a clearer concept. All the main ideas of the original biography remain the same, but they're more fleshed out and expanded.
