Just out of random whim, what's your favorite news source and why?

Fox, because I am republican and I like my news to reflect my political leanings and because it is the most watched news station on cable.

I like the BBC. Their world section is usually better developed.

For TV, CNN. When it comes to cable news, FOX and MSNBC are not news. They're opinion and commentary channels that lean conservative and liberal, respectively. Go there if you want opinions, go to CNN if you want hard news.

To this day, any town crier in the British Commonwealth is protected under old English law that they are not to be hindered or heckled while performing their duties.

More seriously and to the point I tend to prefer CNN, and BBC when it comes to televised news, net wise I pretty much only seem to pay attention to whatever pops up on the Comcast main page, and should something perk my attention I scan the other news sites for more details.
