The sun beat down on Mikkel's black robes as he made his approach to the shuttle outside the Sith academy on Korriban. He had been careful to not draw any attention to himself for discovery would spell certain torture and death. His heavy armor sunk into the sand beneath him as every step brought him closer to the shuttle's hatch where his business partners were waiting.

Stepping on board the ship he was addressed with two heavily armed bodyguards. "Do you have it?" Mikkel asked as one of the Sith brought him a large black box. The Jedi's mouth would almost begin to drool as he had come so close to his prize. Just as he reached towards the box the Sith pulled a pistol on him. "Do you think you can steal our secrets and just walk away?" he asked as Mikkel stood in shock.

Turning his head he looked out of the shuttle to see if any more Jedi sleeper agents were watching and if they could possibly assist him. To his dismay, there were three agents he recognized and then some on their knees with lightsabers to their throats. In one fellow swoop, the Sith slit their necks letting their lifeless bodies fall on the ground.

"NO!" Mikkel screamed, face red boiling with anger as he quickly activated his red blade and bisected the Sith. The second bodyguard sprung into action but was too slow. Mikkel grabbed his collar with his left hand and forced him against the wall before he could reach for his saber. This time his blade stabbed through his gut and melted away his spine.

Running out of the shuttle he was greeted by dozens of Sith and more on the way. "Take him alive!" one of the yelled as they began to charge at him from the academy steps at first one at a time, then two on one and then there were dozens. He needed to reach the evac alive if he valued his life.

The first that came to him was put down quickly he swung at his torso, but Mikkel was too fast, he ducked down and cut off his legs sending them flying. The second that came at him jabbed at his chest with his blade. Mikkel sidestepped out of the way grabbing his wrist and arm, breaking them and using his body as a shield as the next two approached. One Sith swiped at Mikkel's head while the other swiped at his side. While still holding on, Mikkel bobbed and weaved out of the way as the Sith decapitated their ally to get to him.

Mikkel dropped the body to swipe across the chest of the Sith, killing him instantly only to find that a Sith slashed him in the back with a saber. His left leg stumbled onto the ground but refused to give up. He turned around to stab the Sith in the thigh before picking himself back up and running to the evac point. One Sith caught up to him and punched him the back of the head and grabbing onto his waist, to which Mikkel responded by taking out his auto pistol and firing a 3-round burst into the Sith's chest region.

Continuing to charge forward he could feel the perverted energies of the dark side begin to pull at him and drain his strength. Another Sith came at him who thought he would be weakened by all his fighting ran straight in front of him with his arms outstretched in hopes to tackle him to the ground. The Knight ducked down and just as he was about to cut off his legs some Sith snatched his lightsaber forcing him to crash into the Sith, his heavy armor leaving the Sith unconscious and Mikkel forcing himself to get back up.

More unholy magic began to weigh down on him as fatigue quickly began to set in. He saw two Sith begin to try and pin him down but they met his blaster. Another Sith appeared slapping the pistol out of his hand as the Mandalorian began to stand up despite being weighed down. The knight grabbed the Sith by the cheek and slammed his face on the hot sand.

Sluggishly moving towards the evac two more Sith grabbed ahold of his shoulders another running up on him, punching him in the face. Mikkel grabbed the back of the woman's head who had just punched him in the face and slammed her forehead against his knee, knocking her out completely. After she was dealt with it was a matter of the two Sith who were holding him back and now punching him in the side, being forced down to his knees.

Despite being heavily fatigued and being drained by Sith magics he grabbed the Sith to his left arm and threw him over his shoulder as three more Sith came to hold him down from the back. Mikkel refused to give up as he was held back and instead shrugged the Sith off, reaching down to snap the Sith's neck as two more Sith came in front of him to punch him in the face and chest, finally bringing Mikkel down.

His face was buried in the hot sand. Taking one last glimpse of sunlight Mikkel mustered all his strength to slowly push himself up with his arms to be greeted with only the mirage of his father before being hit in the back of his head putting him out cold.

Waking up in a cold sweat in his bed in Mandalore, Mikkel surveyed his surroundings to make sure he was okay. Brand wanted to reunite the family but he hadn't expected the anxiety of being around his father to be so overwhelming. His brother would get here soon and Mikkel needed to be prepared to meet his father again for the first time in years.

The clan was the most important thing in a Mandalorian's life, they were suppose to do everything for it even to go so far as to give their own lives if need be. Which was where Brand got his loyalty for the Jedi order from, if he was to take a guess at it. The week before the reunion was a lot of pressure for the general as he was attempting his best to calm his nerves and finish any work that was needed to be done. Both to get things done, and to avoid thinking about meeting his father despite it was important to Brand to heal the drift between Mikkel, and their father. Hopefully him and Mikkel might also get closer but judging by what he was feeling it might not turn out as well as he wanted to do.

The trip would be difficult sure, but Brand had faith in the force and its ability to guide them in the worst of times. Hopefully it would guide them though this meeting but he was sure it wasn't going to be easy considering everything. So dressed in semi nice clothes, and had arranged a shuttle to take them to their father on Mandalore, the general moved to pick up his brother. The general very much doubted his brother would enjoy the trip or was looking forward to it, but considering he now outranked his brother in the worst case scenario he would just make it a order.

The general had shaved, brushed his hair, the general's outfit was a clean brown cloak, and blue robes with light golden trim on the edge of the robes. The lightsabers on the belt that tied around the robes, but hidden as the cloak were over them hiding the lightsabers.

The general would wait just outside the room that his younger brother was sleeping in, an taking a moment to center himself in the force, Brand would knock on the door. It was a slow knock just 3 in total, hopefully his brother would be ready.

"Mikkel you ready?" Brand didn't attempt to pretend to sound excited, knowing they both weren't going to enjoy it yet the general felt it necessary that they at least attempt to speak with their father.

If nothing just so Brand can get his own father to help support him in the war, and if Mandolare is to break away, Brand would do his best to keep it within the republic.

"Give me a sec," Mikkel said as he got up from his bed. He had already trimmed his hair in preparation and tied it into a ponytail allowing a few locks of hair to hang in front of his forehead.

Slipping on some rather dapper attire, Mikkel ran towards the door and quickly opened it. Outstretching his arms, Mikkel gave his big brother a loving hug. Although he would never admit it, his brother gave him hope to become better and to overcome his fears.

Releasing his hold, Mikkel teared up a bit before stating "Let's get this over with."

Taking a moment to see the silver lining to form a smile he said "At least we get to see mother and our siblings. I bet they can't wait to hear about the things we went through!"

Brand waited patiently outside the door, not like he had much else to do today. But he had a small smile on, knowing that it was good at least his younger brother would be with him. An once the door was opened the general was surprised by the hug he got from his brother. It was surprising and a bit weird for the older brother, having not seen this side of his brother in a long while. But of course Brand didn't want to argue about it, and returned the hug and when it was over he placed his right hand on the brother's shoulder.

It was meant to be encouraging and hopefully his brother would be able to handle the trip. They hadn't seen their family in a long time and hopefully things didn't go badly, considering everything. But it was scary to the older brother seeing his younger brother starting to tear up, hopefully though the rift would be healed.

"Well don't worried, the stories we have will no doubt will make us legends." Brand said letting go of Mikkel's shoulder and shake his brothers hair, before stopping and moving his arms so they were crossed in front of his chest.

"It will be good to see if we got more siblings also, don't worry I'm sure to let you tell the stories. Just don't make me look to bad now." Brand said feeling better then he would have imagine seeing how both him and his brother were doing pretty well together right now.

Sure they would have to head out to meet their father but at least they had each other right now, and with his brothers good attire. The general was sure Mikkel was trying his best to look nice, even having his hair tied up.

"Come on though, lets go meet the family." Sure it would be scary and worrying if anything happened but being on Mandalore, they had a Jedi yacht nearby which could take them to the corvette in space over the world.

Sure it made the general feel bad for using his family like that, but the war needed to be won, even with the republic doing well. Judging by the reports from Illum the Sith have been going out and preparing for several attacks against the republic. Plus with the new organization trying to overthrow the Mandalorian government which was something the general rather not see happen. They were important for the war effort for his ally, and any number of clans that stick with the old government would make it easier for the republic to keep pushing the Sith.

The general would take a step back and signal for his brother to take the lead so they could go and meet the family that were no doubt waiting.

Mikkel took the lead as expected ready to meet his father once more after becoming a Jedi. The Knight rarely took notice of galactic issues but it would seem as though Mandalore would be a point of contention in the war and it was pure coincidence that a Jedi general just so happened to be the heir of one of Mandalore's clans. Fixing his face and returning to his normal stoic and self-important self, Mikkel went right back to business swallowing his fears.

"My Jedi training allows me to see what others can only hope to imagine, but when I'm meditating I forget sometimes we have younger siblings," Mikkel stated as he continued towards the estate. "Sometimes I forget you're my brother and our father is the head of the clan. I can see bonds forming beyond time and space but I sometimes forget my own family. I only see the mission."

The mission being, of course, was the annihilation of the Sith, both culturally and physically. He even forgot he had siblings he never met before his quest had made sure that he rarely got to be with his family. As they approached the doors to the estate Mikkel smiled before ringing the door bell.

"I don't even know half of their names!" Mikkel stated, just as the door opened and several ankle-biters rushed out towards them greeting them with massive prolonged hugs. A few of them he recognized and some he did not. Surprised he decided to just play along getting down on one knee before raising an eyebrow and asking "and who are you?" to one of the random kids surrounding him.

The general was glad to see Mikkel take the lead, hopefully this would be able to help his father see Mikkel as a worthy son. He was a good man and strong Jedi someone anyone would be happy to have as a son. Listening to his younger brother talk about how the Jedi training as made them focus on the war, and the idea that to truly stop the Sith they needed to be put down. Brand wasn't of the mind set that the Sith individuals needed to be put down but the ideology behind them did. But of course the question is how do you kill a idea, and that was the impossible task before them even with the power of the army of light the Jedi were going to have a difficult time.

"That's why a Jedi's life is one of sacrifice, because it's not the white knights that save the galaxy, its those that have given themselves up for the greater good." Brand said just after Mikkel, talked about the Jedi training they have done and everything they have gone though since them being Jedi.

As they got to the door the general was glad he made his hair look good, by making sure it was slick back. An of course when Mikkel said he didn't remember their name's the general let out a small laugh when the door open. An it seemed they became surrounded by their younger children, some of which Brand wasn't aware about. No doubt their father attempting to get more blood out to carry on his name.

Of course the general wasn't going to mention that to his father and mother, who seemed to be in front of Mikkel and Brand maybe a few feet away. But it seemed Mikkel was handling the little kids, and Brand was left with dealing with the adults.

"Hello father, mother." Brand said giving a slight bow to them, hopefully his father would at least reply and show some respect to Mikkel.

"Hello Brand, good to see you have returned. Come with me we have much to discuss about." Brand knew this was how it was going to turn out but the general was hoping that his father would at least acknowledge Mikkel.

But it doesn't seem like that was going to happen, an Brand would just look at Mikkel wondering if his brother would be alright. His glance at mikkel almost a unspoken question? Would you be alright? An Brand only hoped his brother would be but after everything they have been though, Mikkel no doubt wanted to also talk with their father and show what he had learned.

He caught a glimpse of his mother, though visibly older than when he last met her. Saddened that he let years of her life pass by him he caught his father escorting Brand away. The Knight was paralyzed in fear. His father didn't even acknowledge his presence. Mikkel's head sunk down as his fists clenched in sorrow. Alvismi his mother ushered the kids away before speaking in her usual delicate soft voice "Dinner will be ready soon." Brand tried to squeeze in a gesture but Mikkel was already too shell-shocked to notice.

With the kids gone, Mikkel stood outside of the estate in deep thought, just standing there facing the door. The Jedi was just about to kick the door down and tear the roof off of the estate until his enhanced hearing and sensory prowess picked up the faint rustling of branches in the otherwise windless morning. A smile appeared on his face when he heard a savage scream bellow from behind.

Casually turning around to activate and raise the sickly white of his lightsaber blade just in time to intercept the leaping woman's own blade. "It's not a sneak attack if you announce your presence," Mikkel said, "I knew my headcount was short, Kait, but It'll take a lot more than that to sneak up on me." Mikkel instantly retaliated by kicking the young woman in the knee and grabbing her and picking her up by the mouth so she couldn't speak.

"You're training is incomplete," Mikkel said, before releasing his grip "Why don't you join the Jedi? You'll make very powerful friends and tag along with me."

"Daddy says I need to stay here and protect the homestead, says his warriors are saving the galaxy, someone needs to protect mom."

"Oh really?" Mikkel thought to himself. His warriors. "Hmm, I see you've been practicing by yourself. How about a quick spare until dinner? And where is Alfred? I need something to be made."
