The Knightess moved quickly, her footsteps echoeing through the sewers of one of Mandalore's more prominent cities. What had happened here today felt surreal. The Sith had invaded Mandalore.

The Alliance had been aware of the rumors. The Bothan Spy Network had supplied them with information, rumors originating from the upper echelons of the Sith. According to their sources, the Sith had plans to invade Mandalore. However the rumors were vague and unreliable, giving the Galactic Alliance no reason to trust these vague claims. Thus, the Alliance had sent a small team of undercover agents to Mandalore. Among them, Jedi Knight Sakadi Sinvala. Their task had been to observe whether an invasion would take place or not. Oh how grossly they had underestimated the Empire's lack of mercy.

The first bombing run had devastated a large part of the city and had claimed the lives of her unsuspecting allies. She had managed to escape the massacre just in time, by taking cover in the sewer system. She had been there for hours, as the bombers just kept on coming. Until a moment ago.

The Knightess had arrived on Mandalore with no intentions to fight. With the benefit of hindsight, she should've donned her armor instead of wearing her current attire. It didn't matter that much though; she had come fully equipped for this mission. Her two blaster pistols, lightsaber, holocom and binoculars were neatly attached to her utility belt. The Sephi had everything she needed.

The moment she saw light at the end of the long sewer tunnel, Sakadi started to run. She had to see the destruction with her own eyes. She sensed the Dark Side around her, feeding upon the death and destruction that had occurred mere minutes ago. Its cold touch was repelled by the Jedi's affinity to the Light side, but she still felt the energy swirling around her, like a moth drawn to a flame.

The Knightess climbed out of the sewer system, only to stumble upon the remains of a railway station. Parts of the station were on fire, the roof was half gone and the railway itself had collapsed. Considering this was one of the sturdier buildings, she had no doubts of what the city looked like. The dense energy of the Dark side told her all she needed to know. It was hell incarnate out there.

Some people just want to watch the world burn

The words echoed through Amur's head as she viewed the destroyed landscape. Though while most watch it burn for the chaos and anarchy it brought Amur was watching the planet Mandalore burn for a very different reason. Up in space in hectic battle she didn't have time to process what had happened. She had gotten an emergency redeployment order and was thrusted into the jaws of death. She had barely a moment to compute all the implications, subtleties of the empire attacking the Mandalorian home world. Her mind was dedicated to survival. Now though was different the main fighting had died down. Now the Empire had resorted to clean up, more like extermination really. Amur had volunteered to stay after to look for potential resistance and partisans in one of Mandalore's cities. That mission didn't really matter to her right now, and even then it was so pointless the damage had already been done.

The Scorched Acolyte walked amongst the now crumbling streets, buildings now manic piles of rubble that forced amur to have to take caution with each step. She had her rifle raised taking note of each sound, knowing that life could be anywhere and that the chance of someone taking retribution on the Sith high. She had everything with her, but wasn't expecting much.

Amur couldn't help but make note of all the architecture, some modern and new, other buildings ancient filled with history. All of it, all of the work of a proud civilization, one that surely spent hundreds of years total on the construction of this, all of this was undone in mere hours. There was an unusual feeling brewing in the Acolyte. She passed by a ruined cafe one that likely had seen lots of traffic and lots of stories begin and end in it. It was clear by the state it was in that it was abandoned in a moment's notice as personal belongings litter it's collapsed floor, she even saw the stuffed animal that was likely a source of security and comfort for someone's kid.

Truth be told if she found out that Mandalore had burned she would normally be happy, they were owed their comeuppance for their meteoric rise. Had it been the mindbreakers, pirates, or heck the Galactic Alliance if they somehow found the balls to try something like that, but no it was the Empire. She didn't blame her fellow compatriots for wanting to with all the bad blood that developed between the two factions. She wouldn't be surprised to hear a Sith explain how they deserve to know what it's like to lose your homeworld so totally. It was also so short sighted.

Even if she closed her feelings off from others, trying to never again become vulnerable exploitation, there was one thing that was always there in fact she could remember a line from a Sith text that now seemed so apt.

Xela buti zo khutrai zenoti kia aliai.

Amur knew very well what kind of pain they were feeling, the shock, the suddenness of it, the almost betrayal like nature to it was all there. She knew that from Korriban, she knew it from her past, and now she knew it here. Amur also could also feel what it was stirring. around here in the city. When Korriban fell it was like a desperately needed adrenaline shot for the Empire, waking them to the decay that had been ongoing for years. Alerting them of how weak they had become, how vulnerable. It also filled them with an empowering rage, one that now made every Sith that cared about the Empire want to take Korriban back and raze every single karking mindbreaker from existence. To avenge the emperor, and crush anyone that dare cross the Empire.

What the Empress did today was do the same thing for the Mandalorians. She gifted a rallying call, a permanent symbol for them to bind behind. A new drive fueled by now uncontrolled rage that now demanded vengeance. This attack did nothing against the Mandalorian military as they were scattered, it didn't crush the Mandalorians in one feel swoop, it was purely a petty attack. One that may have put Death knell on the Empire. Amur's hatred was getting more and more out of control as she experienced the emotions of all the people around her, fueling the force like a roar of anguish. Her hatred now being focused on one singular person.

She hated the Empress.

The Scorched Acolyte seethed in her hate for a few seconds more, before she was able to let it dissipate and calm herself down. Amur took a few deep breaths and dulled her connection to the force for a short period of time. Now able to focus, she started marching her way to the city square, curious to see what the state of it would be, and to potentially crush anyone who posed resistance to her.

Inheris breathed in deep. The air of Mandalore was scorched, Ash wafting through the air, carried by winds that blew only because of bombing runs that has wracked the planets major cities. It had been the largest and most decisive deployment of the Sith military in recent history, and as head of the Sphere of Military Defence, it filled Inheris with a violent pride to see the teams she had commanded, worked alongside for so long seize their objectives with such aplomb.

Mandalore would be theirs, there was no doubt about it.

Reports flooded in of rolling conflicts in the skies and on the surface, her fellow Council members tied up in their own objectives at each end of the planet, some leading the change directly, and others, such as she, were deployed on missions of a more... sensitive nature.

After the initial runs had softened the cities holdouts, she and Vaykaris Squad, her personal troops from the Kuati 9th Legion, has pushed through zone after zone, searching for a prize that would secure an Imperial advantage when the war against the Mandalorians rose up again in response. Somewhere not far a Mandalorian ship had crashed into from the space battle above. Pieces of a capital ship, with data beyond value to the war effort aboard, if she could secure it that was. And it was to be secured with no witnesses to it. They couldn’t risk their enemy knowing of their discovery. And it fell to Inheris, in her role, to claim it on such terms.

Dominus and Primaris teams had already been split off, combing the ruins for whatever they could find. And as Inheris entered the blasted ruins of the city square, she sent Vaykaris off east, to scouring the streets and executing any who were left within the ruins. It was dirty, grim work. But one that had to be done, for the greater good. An ideal she’d picked up from the former Emperor, and one she still sympathised with.

For her part, she passed into the square. Flanked on one side by a great railway station, the centre held a towering pillar, topped still by a great rockrete statue of a Mandalorian warrior, though the name at the bottom was blasted away, lost amongst the debris. Part of her sensed something within the square, something in the Force. Whether her prize, or some other thing she could not say, not yet.

But, gripping the lightsaber that hung at her belt, her pistols hanging equally close, she was ready to find out.

The marauder tried to shoot Hask with his Strill, but with the force grip on his throat he was barely able to aim. The acolyte just got to his feet, breathing heavily from the force push he got to the gut. "Alright, playtime's over." Hask said flatly, crushing the marauder's throat and turning his focus on the acolyte. The young man charged, but Hask effortlessly blocked the blow and slammed a crossguard in the man's gut. Before he had a chance to react, Hask's second blade ignited through his chest. Hask let the man slump down to his knees before crossing blades and beheading the man. "Over eager bloody foot soldiers." he grumbled, looking around.

The bombardment had moved to a different part of the city, but there were still a few explosions going off all over the place. The city square he was standing in was littered with corpses of marauders and sith troopers as well as a handful of acolytes. All his doing. He had been sent here to root out an underground group of criminals using the subways to move around, but the sudden attack threw him off completely. As if being on Mandalore alone wasn't bad enough. With his breath finally returning to normal he bent over and picked up the scattered lightsabers on the ground. He always had use for spare lightsabers.

He looked around a bit, feeling not only the overwhelming power of the Dark Side, but a sliver of Light as well. No way in hell would a jedi be here...right? The sickly yellow in his eyes steadily returned to the warm gold they usually were. He holstered his lightsabers under his coat and turned his attention to the sign indicating the direction to the subway. The sound of an acolyte still struggling on the ground caught his attention. Seems he missed one.

The young man was trying to crawl to a nearby blaster, still intent on fighting. With a sigh Hask walked over to him and flipped him onto his back, landing a knee on his cut up chest to hold him down. He pulled the man's helmet off...and was surprised to be looking at a fellow Pureblood. The young man was trying with all his might to get Hask off and to keep fighting...but Hask simply stared on blankly. In another time he would have spared his life, would have left him to die, perhaps even felt sorry. Now he felt nothing as he pressed a lightsaber in the Pureblood's mouth and ignited the weapon to finish him off.

He stood up and turned to start walking to the nearby station. But a sudden ripple in the force caused him to stop. A smirk appeared behind his helmet as he turned to stare down a Sith Lord of all people. "Finally. An opponent worth my time."

The metal grates and stone tiles that remained of the railway station's floor screeched under the weight of the Sephi, as she moved closer to the exit. However, she didn't want to set foot outside of the station just yet. Not because she was afraid of the destruction she would find out there, but because she felt something peculiar. The darkness was moving... It was at that moment she understood that it wasn't just the massacre that fueled the Dark side, but three external sources as well. Sith...

Her first response was to summon the Light side to her aid. The Light was scarce around here, being pushed away by the strong presence of the Dark side. She could sense the conflict, how the Light searched for a way to return. And she would make sure it would, through its one present champion, the lavender-skinned woman.

Sakadi was a beacon of the Force now, as the Light Side swirled around her, pushing against the present Darkness. She reached for her lightsaber, deciding against engaging with her blaster pistols. If she was about to face three Sith at once, there was no way she'd come out on top anyway. Her chances of survival were low anyway. Taking out her pistols would only slightly increase her odds, but it still wouldn't be enough. No, if she was going to die here, she'd do so with her trademark weapon, instead of some blaster pistols. The knightess took a deep breath as she, confidently and without fear, marched out of the station. Her strategy was a simple one. She was the only one who knew what the interior of the railway station looked like. If given the chance, she'd lure her enemies inside and, hopefully, tip the scales in her favor.

As she set foot outside of the station, the first thing she noticed was the figure (@Nightfall) standing right in front of the building. She could sense the Dark side swirling around the figure. Sakadi did not ignite her lightsaber yet, as she made eye contact with the Sith. She had a slight terrain advantage; there were steps leading up to the entrance of the station from the city square. The bombing runs had decimated parts of the stairs, which made it easily defendable. If the Sith would engage her, she'd have to do so from a distance, or face her on disadvantageous terrain; both options being unfavorable, as she could simply retreat back inside whenever blaster bolts started coming in her direction.

Sakadi kept her gaze on the Sith, ready to activate her lightsaber, to defend herself from whatever she was about to face. Her Force signature carried a simple message. Leave, or face the consequences.

The Scorched Acolyte was but a few blocks away from the main square searching building and wrecks, corpses seemed to be littered every which way. Many civilians but a good number were of the Sith and Mandalorian ranks. It was in this mess of wasted life that a something seemed to call to the Sith. It was a Force signature but very different from the overpowering presence of the Darkside. Either this was wild or... light. Amur took up a light jog towards the square as she neared she could feel the power of the darkside manifested in a few individuals, both of much greater power than the acolyte. Amur had to climb over a pile of rubble from a collapsed skyscraper that was blocking the street she was on. As she made her way up she felt the light shine over the area like a dreaded beacon. It demanded that she leave.

It was that moment Amur recognized where she felt that signature before. It was a jedi,, one that she met on Zeltros. One she let get away due to the chaos of the situation. She seemed to be much much stronger than she last remembered, no doubt she had been hard at work since the last time they met. Amur finally crested her mini mountain of ash and rubble and could catch a glimpse over the square. She saw none other than the Dark councilor Inheris herself facing down a Sith and a Jedi. It seemed like something clicked inside the acolyte's head upon realizing that a lord was in the area. There was a ulterior goal at play. The sith smirked to herself, maybe they could salvage something of use from this petulant operation. Standing ontop of the rubble already possessing a high ground, but the Sith knew she would need to get closer.

Looking around she saw that it was possible to get up to the rooftops on a row of two story buildings on the street that would take her near the Train station. It would be risky leap to go from the closest building to the roof of the station thanks to what looked to be a 15m meter gap between the two, but it would a could provide a quick point of ingress should the fight move to there. The Sith now channeling the force feeling like a fire was now inside her. With a simple leap and roll she was on the rooftops parkouring her way through the jangled mess of buildings until she was on the rooftop of the building closest to the station.

She now stared down the Jedi eyes hidden by her helmet, scanning the environment. If that pureblood turned out to be a bloody traitor then she knew she would need to leap down and provide inheris aid. Still she also needed to take into account the Jedi, but she seemed to be trying her best to scare them away. So many unknown quantities. She weighed her options. She then tried to imagine what she would do if she were looking from a building seeing three foes that potentially out powered you... Retreat like a rat and ambush. That's right this wasn't a eagle that would soar in the face of combat, but a rebel rat. Rats hid away in what they think is safety.

Amur know shut her eyes and fully opened herself to the force, thinking of every single ounce of misery and hate that this place had all the feelings it stirred in her, and even thought briefly on her past and the face of that... bastard that burned her, that seemed to keep popping up in her thoughts. She was ready. Her rifle was holstered and her lightsaber now in hand. Amur could feel a bit of her consciousness seem to fade as the raging animal within took ahold. She faced her prey and concentrated on projecting one simple message to the Jedi.

Submit or die

The lightsaber ignited to life.

As figures drew in on all sides, Inheris breathed in deep. Mandalore was not typically a place where such meetings occurred, but with the galaxy in such a state, she shouldn't have been surprised that such a thing was happening. Glancing about the courtyard, she saw, and felt the presence of, the Jedi, the other Sith, and... curious, another darkside user, but one who clearly had no interest in fighting on the side of the Empire.

That, that was a disappointment.

Equally disappointing was that, no matter the valour, or skill of the young Sith beyond her that currently stalked her way across to the Jedi in the railways' crumbling ruins, Inheris could not leave her to go about her business. C'est la vie, perhaps, such was the way of things. Empire first, as always. Still, for now at least she could let the Jedi and her presumptive ally duke it out, who ever came out on top would be tired and ripe for the finishing. She had another focus for now,

"Then I'm afraid I shall have to cut your time short" she turned from the pillar to face the Pureblood directly, her red blade flashing to life in her hand, all the while she drew the force to herself in preparation,

"I could recall my forces here at any moment, see this courtyard overrun with the Empires finest. Do you really want to take that chance?" Inheris bit at the figure, a smirk running across her face as she finished, eyes unblinking in their focus. She held her blade up to her side, in a position ready to fight. To the Pureblood it would as only one thing:

Let's do this.

To say that Hask was jarred was an understatement. First another random Acolyte popped out from one side, then the Jedi appeared seemingly unable to speak...then there was the Sith Lord. He could feel the mutual hatred between everyone. The hatred towards him, towards the Jedi. It was rather hilarious, to be honest. The amusement was clear on his face, despite the threats being flung around like a food fight.

His golden eyes shifted from the two new arrivals to the Sith Lord speaking to him. He chuckled. "Empire's finest? Please do. All I've had this morning was half-assed acolytes like that poor lost lamb up there, good only for crystal farming...then you. A washed-up, generic Sith Lord I only recall seeing on the Holonet once years ago strutting over some backwater planet nobody cares about. So do fetch the Empire's Finest, I might actually bother to remember their names!" he all but shouted at her with a degrading smirk a mile long. "And fetch that acolyte over there as well, you look like you need a teacher." he continued, his smug look not faltering for a second.

All the while his lightsabers were still not ignited, taunting her even further by not even bothering to assume a fighting stance. He wanted to draw her out, to make her lash out. If she tried to attack while or after he spoke, his lightsabers would snap into his hands and ignite in a flash while his body was ready to move. He might have a big mouth on him, but Hask could at least put his money where his big mouth is.

He made sure to keep quiet with the Jedi. The last thing he needed was to have all three of the force users coming at him. Hopefully the Jedi will keep the acolyte busy. Despite his degrading, he didn't underestimate Darth Inheris even for a second.

In response to the acolyte's movement, Sakadi raised her lightsaber a little without igniting it. She wasn't going to be caught off guard by a sudden assault, but neither was she going to attack the acolyte. Not without trying to shake her core first.

It hadn't gone unnoticed to the Knightess, how the seemingly rogue Dark side practitioner had decided against mocking her, instead taunting the Sith Lord. It meant that, for now, she wouldn't have to focus on three opponents at once. It was quite the gamble to take, but she needed to have faith in this feeble alliance.

The lavender-skinned woman turned to the acolyte. "You... I know who you are." She stated, as she tightened the grip around her weapon. "Tell me. Is this truly what you desire? Endless war, massacring entire planets only to reap what you have sowed? We may have only met once before, but you don't strike me as the type to enjoy such practices. Also, you don't have the makings of a mindless brute, so drop that feral rage of yours." Her tone had been compassionate and caring, although it changed to serious and authoritative the moment she mentioned the acolyte's rage. It had not gone unnoticed to her, how the acolyte had started to gather her hatred.

Sakadi knew that her speech had three possible outcomes. Either she'd stoke up the Sith's rage beyond it's current point, she'd make the Sith doubt how she felt about this or her speech would have no effect at all. The Sephi patiently waited, like only a Jedi could, ready to respond to whatever the acolyte would throw at her.

It seemed like the rest were well aware of her, that was unfortunate. The Sith vermin had the gall the chastise the lord but that wasn't the focus for the predator. No that was the rat. Staring upon the Lavender animal noticing her readied stance, she was ready for a fight, but decided to trying 'reasoning' perhaps. Seemed like she had a decent memory about her.

Was this what she wanted? Mandalore in ruins. No. That was exactly the problem. That was what made her angry being a cog in a machine that was hell bent on self sabotage. That was the goal to seeking power in this empire. To grab it by it's unruly decadent ears and snap it back on a different path. There was also another another thing the rat was trying acting like it knew her inside and out and could pull her strings. That wasn't going to work it was laughable that the rat thought such things might even work on her. It was hilarious! If she actually 'knew' her then she ought to know why such manipulations were most unwise.

The Sith cocked her head to the side, unfortunately the Jedi being in tune with the force would mean that trying to act like she was convinced would fail besides that would be too easy and she would see it. Still it was time to make a move of her own.

"This isn't what I want... That's exactly the problem." A second after Amur said that she jumped down upon the same level as the Jedi channeling the force to smooth her slow and smooth her fall, landing 5 meters in front of her, doing a roll. With a two handed grip on her lightsaber she would begin with a standard downward and crosswise swings fully expecting the Jedi to counter them. In the middle of the battle her stance would change to a one handed grip as she would reach for an Adhesive grenade set on a impact fuse chucking it at the feet of the jedi before jumping backwards hand reaching for her pistol after she landed.

The feint voices of the other combatants didn't draw Inheris's attention away from the evidently powerful figure before her. The Pureblood perhaps had once been an Imperial, she would have been surprised to find a Sith who hadn't been. But where they had been and done, what led them away, she couldn't say. The man was no freedom fighter, and certainly no Jedi, and if they'd gone native and become a Mandalorian then she would've expected an attack all the sooner. What ideals were even left then to hold? Hardly anything coherent, not by her standards anyway.

When the man referred to the acolyte she looked back, the Sith had moved to engage the Jedi. Smart move, and it kept the playing field fairly even for now. Even if they were in a warzone that her side was winning, the carnage had already blown through, it would take time for any support to move in. For now, at the very least, it was simply her and this strange interloper into it all. Had it been any other moment there might have been a chance for both to simply move on with their lives. But she sensed he wouldn't exactly parlay, and she meant to conduct this in secrecy. So long as her soldiers found what they were looking for, all would be well,

"A teacher you say?" she said, scoffing as she turned back to the Pureblood "Oh, no, I think it's you who will need a lesson" she finished, smirking right back as her blade slashed suddenly to the right, carving clean through the support of the towering pillar she stood next to in the centre of the square, and with the Force gathered in her other hand she tore it down to fall straight on top of the mouthy Pureblood. If he didn't move, he'd be crushed in an instant. But surely he was smarter than that,

And she stood prepared to defend against whatever he had up his sleeve.

Hask raised an eyebrow, his smirk unwavering. His eyes shifted to the stone pillar starting to fall. Finally the smirk turned into a scowl as Hask launched a fireball at Inheris before she can manipulate the pillar to aim at the Pureblood. Right behind the fireball hid a powerful force push that would send her a couple meters back if she doesn't stop it in time. The fireball would also follow Inheris if she tried to jump out of the way or dodge otherwise.

As for the pillar, simple stepping forward to let it fall behind him would suffice to avoid the danger. If she still somehow manipulated the pillar he would effortlessly be able to avoid it. "Really, Darth Anonymous? That the best you got?" he taunted her, the dust around him scramming away as heat waves came off him. He might not be an alchemist or a Nightsister or even a Sith Lord like Inheris, but he was just as strong and his knowledge of force fire was quite broad at this point.

Finally he ignited his lightsabers. Crimson blade and crossguard ignited in his left hand with a deep, droning hum. In his right, his second hilt would extend with a loud hiss and the unstable yellow blade would emerge with a small explosion from the emitter. With both blades ready he stared her down. "Come on then, do those legs work or are they planting posts?" he continued with his taunting, that smirk returning.

Like usual, the Sith took the initiative. This time, with a surprise attack. An attack like that could work, given it met the following conditions: Amur had to be faster than her opponent and, of course, her assault needed the element of surprise. Sadly for Amur, she lacked both against the likes of Sakadi, who was ready for just about anything.

She had given Amur a chance to surrender, a chance to talk. But she didn't seem willing to do so. Now, the Sith would have to contemplate her mistake, as Sakadi determined the trajectory of her jump. Judging by the speed at which she descended, Sakadi could tell that she had to compensate for the incoming shock somehow. It granted her the perfect opportunity to attack.

All it took were two efficient bursts of her channeled energy. One to temporarily enhance her speed and move between the now rolling Amur, the second to channel a burst of kinetic energy, which she quickly released upon her in mid-roll target. There was little Amur could do to defend herself. Being in mid-roll, she'd have no way to evade the attack or likely have the focus to mitigate it, let alone know what was happening. She risked harming herself if she swung her saber, and she had couldn't speed up, change direction nor slow down. The telekinetic assault had a high chance of succeeding.

If the force push would hit, the burst of energy would smack against the acolyte, violently pushing her down the crumbled stairs. The state of the crumbled stairs was probably similar to sandpaper at this point. Luckily the acolyte was wearing some form of armor. Good for her.

The Knightess would keep up her attack, quickly reaching for one of her blaster pistols and firing two quick blaster bolts at the acolyte. She didn't specifically aim for a part of the acolyte's body, no, that would take to much time. Besides, deflecting the bolts mid fall would pose a challenge anyway.

The Knightess had yet to ignite her lightsaber, and even now, as she slowly descended the stairs, she still refused to do so. A major shift in her attitude had occured. The kind and friendly Jedi was gone, replaced by an emotionless and serene being. Her face had a stoic expression, and no sign of mercy nor compassion was visible in her eyes. She was her to cut out the tumor that was the Dark side, starting with the acolyte.

Her saber sprung to life, it's sapphire color seemingely colder than ever before, as Sakadi recited a single sentence in her head. There is no emotion, there is peace.

Amur could feel the breath get knocked out of her when mid-roll the Jedi had closed the distance and sent her falling down the stairs. Immediately her training from Korriban kicked in as she quickly concentrated on projecting a force barrier around her body during the tumble. She could feel the tinge and searing spike of pain produced by the heat as she failed to completely dissipate the energy of the first shot. while not as severe as taking the full brunt of the blaster bolt it still had an impact as she felt a pain around her back at one of her shoulders. Thankfully she managed to get the barrier up in time to deal with the second shot from the Jedi's blaster. The tumble was also soothed a bit by this barrier though as soon as Amur felt the tumble finally end she dropped the barrier already feeling weary from the amount of concentration she had to put in that small amount of time.

Amur then returned to her feet seeing the Jedi begin to approach her. The rat seemed to have transformed in the last minute going from weak to new icy resolve. It was clear in the Jedi's eyes that she as a person disappeared. In her stead was a void empty of anything. Except for her intent to murder the Scorched Acolyte. What a far cry from the normal Jedi that insisted on shepherding the weak.

Amur could taste the metallic sensation of blood in her mouth. She used the time the Jedi took descending to regain her strength. The second the lightsaber came to light in it's wretched blue color, Amur knew the Jedi now meant business. Noticing behind the Jedi a piece of rubble that was a little smaller than the size of a football. Amur then raised her slug throwing pistol that thankfully remained holstered during the tumble. The nice aspect of this archaic weapon was that any shot the Jedi blocked couldn't be reflected back. She started concentrated on propelling rock at the same time as she started backing in the general direction of the slug fest between the two Sith.

She fired a total of 5 shots at the general body of the Jedi to force her to have to concentrate either on the force or blocking with her saber. She timed it so the rock would be impacting her torso between the 3rd and 4th shot. Maybe the Jedi would dodge but she would have to concentrate on multiple things at once in order to do so. After the volley of 5 shots Amur would quickly holster her pistol and raise her lightsaber in anticipation of another attack from the Sephi.

As the pillar began to fall she watched as the Pureblood's hand filled with flame that quickly shot toward her. Yes her pillar gambit had been thwarted, but it meant she'd expended little force energy in the long run, not begun to tire herself. And the pillar would still fall, her cut had done enough, and gravity would do the rest. Certainly, the Pureblood might make it out of the way, but it broke up the landscape, and closed off the space behind him, something at least.

As the fire came toward her, her hand that gripped the lightsaber swung back to in front of her, sweeping a strong breath of force energy across the side of the fireball that would snuff the thing out as it came to her. It was not as if it was continuous and had to be held back, nor contained a piece of debris, simply flames sailing through the ether, it would not take much to disperse no matter how dangerous they might be had they hit her.

The Force push though, that was more trouble. For all her posturing, she was keenly aware that the figure she found herself up against was a powerful force user, one of the few independent ones in the galaxy it seemed, for she doubted his allegiance to the Jedi, and he was certainly not with her.

As the Force push rushed toward her, the pillar crashed into the ground behind the Sith, splintering into shards of stone that fell all across the stairs. With her free hand she threw a short, sharp blast of force energy herself at the impending wall, dampening the worst of it that came toward her, though it was not without its damage. Loosening her muscles she simply let the weakened force push her back just over a metre, finding her feet again, though she felt the sheer force of it through her muscles. Looking up again she watched as the Pureblood ignited their blades and called out again.

She responded differently. With the Force she lifted a trio of stone shards behind the man from the broken pillar and sent them careening into his back, jagged stone jetting at his spine and carrying a wave of dust that would engulf him should he turn back, making it difficult to spot the projectiles and block them, though the short distance they had to travel and speed at which they would do so more than covered that too,

"I try not to show off" she called back as she did "overconfidence just makes a failure so much more brutal"

Hask wasn't an idiot. Between the amount of beatings he endured from the likes of Victress, Tagus and Parox as well as a couple Jedi and Mandalorians, he had come to learn to keep his senses wide open. The life of a criminal also did lend a hand with that.

He felt the trick coming from behind him. Even with most of his attention diverted onto Inheris, he still kept the rest of his attention on his surroundings. He knelt down and let the stone shards fly over his head, albeit a little close for his taste. To turn her own trick against her, he took hold of the the shards with the force and forced them forward. This action would serve a couple purposes. The first being that she wouldn't be able to redirect them to take in account his last-minute move or send it backwards. The second being that the shards would now travel towards her at a frightening speed. Given the surprise move, she would most likely have little time to react.

Along with that stunt, he would release a powerful force push at her feet and the ground beneath her, intent on blowing her legs out from under her. "You must be very overconfident then." he would comment as both his attacks would head for her, crossing the short distance rather very quickly.

The serenity and calm state of mind empowered the Sephi. While she patiently descended the station its crumbled stairs, Sakadi watched how the acolyte had drawn a slugthrower. But she saw more than that. Well, saw... Hurling the acolyte down the stairs and forcing her to generate a barrier had definitely taken it's toll. Therefore, she found it strange to, once again, feel a sudden surge in Dark side energy emanating from the acolyte before her. While she had yet to figure out what Amur was drawing upon the Dark side for, it wouldn't take her long to find out.

The Knightess channeled the Light side through her frame again, enhancing her speed and reflexes as she intercepted the first bullet. It was a tricky weapon to deal with as the sparks and embers of the bullet were blown in all directions. Because a part of her was still focused on whatever Amur was summoning, she only barely managed to block the second bullet, adjusting her footing just in time to prevent any of the sparks from landing on her.

Her divided attention was what saved and crippled her when the third bullet arrived. Sensing Amur's grasp on the small piece of rubble, Sakadi blocked the bullet with her saber before she swiftly sidestepped to the right, evading the piece of rubble entirely. However, she couldn't get her guard back up in time to intercept the fourth. It grazed her left shoulder, leaving a sharp aching pain behind which temporarily disrupted her focus. Fearing that the fifth bullet would tear through her hastily brought-up guard, Sakadi sidestepped to the right again. The fifth bullet again managed to graze the Jedi, this time leaving a burning and sharp cut on or cheek. Her eyes widened for a moment as she realized how close the acolyte had gotten to ending the Sephi's life. She quickly regained her composture however, finally moving within lightsaber-reach of the Acolyte.

Sakadi made a quick upward cut, her saber moving in a diagonal slash from left to right. She fully expected to lock blades with the acolyte, although she readied herself for a possible counter attack.

There was a satisfaction in seeing the Jedi bleed as the image of the imperturbable knight was briefly shattered. Even beyond the air of superiority of calm the Jedi was trying to convince everyone she was there was still a living thing behind it, an animal. Amur saw a chance to hopeful end the fight quickly even if it meant taking a risk and straining the remaining amount of energy she had left. Deciding to use the Jedi move to strike against the Jedi. As Sakadi would begin her attack the Sith met her blade while it was angled downwards. She quickly pivoted using the momentum the Jedi built up to make the strike to rotate them so Sakadi's back was now facing the battle between the Sith and the dark councilor. Then with her free hand she channeled the Force to then use a Force push to send the Jedi flying towards the deadly melee between Hask and Inheris.

Meanwhile though something was happening in the back of Amur's head. The words of the Jedi now instead were now being pondered on a subconscious level. The Scorched Acolyte had viewed this entire attack has just petty and a grand mistake. Now she was pondering if the current fight with the Jedi was the same... fundamentally petty and pointless. After the force push if she could successfully pull it out there was also a wave of tiredness and pain starting to overtake as she would briefly take a knee and take some heavy breaths. A general wave of unease hitting the Sith and doubt. It was fusing with the feeling of anger and the darkside into an uncomfortable soup of emotions.

What the hell had gotten into the her? Was this really the great and manipulative Amur? A petty animal fighting petty fights?

The voice in her head had a different tone not the usual hunger or detached power plays but a voice that sound like one she hadn't heard since she walked down the path of becoming a Sith.

The Sith Lord didn't seem to want to continue fighting, as she broke off from the engagement. Instead, her units who were hanging back and opened fire on Hask. Infuriated he got up and deflected the blaster rounds but ultimately backed away. He struck the ground which threw up some sparks in the air. The sparks suddenly exploded into a raging ball of fire which blanketed the few troopers who hung back to cover Inheris' retreat. They all were set on fire, their blaster fire being replaced by their agonized screams. Hask watched them burn for a second or two until he finally turned around and hopped over the pillar behind him. With Darth Inheris dealt with he now had a new target.

His two lightsabers were pointed down away from his body, yet still ready to move. His pale jacket flapped around behind him as the winds of war howled through the battlefield. Ash fell from the air like snow, and with it the smell of destruction came with it. Underneath the physical plane his power rippled through the Force. both the Jedi and the Acolyte would be able to feel it. Hask had his sights on them.

As Sakadi and Amur fought, they would suddenly feel their throats close off and start to suffocate. Both of them would be lifted off the air and flung into different directions. Sakadi would be flung off towards some rubble to get her out of the way, while the Acolyte would be flung towards the stairway leading to the train station.

"Kark off, Jedi! This Sith is mine." Hask spoke coldly, heading straight towards Amur. He had another lightsaber to claim as well as another expendable Acolyte...

Although it did surprise her a little when Amur attempted to use her momentum against her, the Knightess was still ready and prepared. Manoeuvres and techniques like that summarized her own preferred fighting style. However, she had never faced on opponent who used those techniques against her.

Instead of rotating with Amur, Sakadi would move in the opposite direction, ramming into the Sith as she pivoted. Just as she planned to follow up her disruption, something unexpected happened. The troopers under the command of the Dark Councillor opened fire. And not just to allow her to escape from the Sith she was facing, no, they were firing entire volleys at the Jedi and the Acolyte too.

Boosting her speed, Sakadi quickly backed away from the Acolyte, shifting her focus to their assailants instead. While she still made sure to keep the Acolyte in her sight, the Sith troopers had her undivided attention. Deflecting one bolt after another, Sakadi moved further back up the stairs. Her priority was survival, and the best chance she had was moving back into the station. But before she could reach the entrance, she suddenly found herself gasping for breath, followed by being lifted into the air.

The Imperials who had previously opened fire upon her immediately stopped firing. They knew that getting involved in a battle between Force wielders often didn't end well for them. Besides, their leader was secure and the remaining threats were occupied. Was there a better moment to make their escape?

The chokehold was short lived, as the Knightess was thrown across the stairway right after. Cushioning her fall with the Force, Sakadi managed to get up quickly. Hearing the warning of the Dark side practitioner, she immediately answered.

"Can't we just talk about this!?" she stated, with an indignant tone present in her voice.
