So I've been thinking for quite a while now about how to put together a Fantasy Congress league. I think it'd be a lot of fun and educational if we were to do something like this. After some research, I found out about a couple of sites that used to run similar leagues. Right now, though, there are no sites currently running such leagues. I think we can start out with some pretty simple rules for this session and then add to them for future sessions. This is a work in progress, so any input is greatly appreciated.
Suggested Rules:
So once again, I'd love some feedback and some volunteers to test this out.
Suggested Rules:
- Each player drafts a "Party" made up of two Senators and three Representatives
- Each time a person in your "Party" proposes legislation, sponsors a bill, or adds an amendment your team gets points
- Additional points are added for the bill passing and for Presidential approval
- The "Party" with the most points at the end of the session wins
So once again, I'd love some feedback and some volunteers to test this out.
