Factionless?

Is it possible to have a factionless character? For example the bounty hunter I am working on would be indapendent of a faction, out on his own.

Most indie chars is independant without a faction the take orders from, I my self have several characters that listen to one one but themselves.

I myself have to character that are factionless. Both Alex and Miyala. If you like I can get one of my characters to join you on a job or something.
