DESCRIPTION​

Easily recognizable to be the weapon of numerous stormtroopers belonging to the First Order. The F-11D is the successor to the E-11, E-11D, and other variations used by the Galactic Empire's stormtroopers. One noticeable difference is that unlike its predicessors, the F-11D lacks a foldable stock and instead can have a duraplast lightweight stock affixed to the butt of the blaster. This can be swapped for other stocks to fit with personal armor or physiology though most are seen lacking one entirely. A forward grip can also be unfolded into a foreword pistol grip. This has reportedly pragmatically helped in the rare cases of the rifle becoming hot after repeated firing as well as helps with the weapon's standard recoil.

The power pack assembly has been moved, perhaps noting the complaints of a certain clone commando about holstering the weapon. Ammo is fed in to the right side of the weapon and thus right handed shooters can holster or sling and draw the weapon more easily. An improvement an improvement on ammo capacity without sacrificing accuracy or any characteristic has been a badge of honor for Sonn-Blas despite the weapon's association.

The F-11D is far more accurate and reliable than either of its forbearers. Taking what they learned from the construction of past machines and also being motivated to create quality arms for the First Order resulted in the well rounded construction of this blaster rifle. Like the DC line of blasters used by Clone Troopers during the clone wars, F-11D have incorporated target reticle readouts in trooper armor that have a HUD function of some kind. This is limited and requires syncing with a single suit out of combat usually.

Sometimes others will take the scopes from the F-11D since it utilizes a J19 Electroscope. The formidable 8x power scope as well as low light capability. A laser sight, flash light or other attachment can be added to the weapon if the owner so chooses though this will usually take up the space of the foregrip.

Today the F-11D is perhaps one of the best military blaster rifles available on the market and has kept its creators from going bankrupt. The limited manufacturing of these weapons, primarily in secret, keep them being manufactured openly only by daring Sonn-Blas and usually at made to order by private military groups or planetary defense contracts. However plenty of stock weapons exist in First Order holdouts or weapon stores or are sold on the black markets. Legal possession of one is most often found in elite military personnel, law enforcement officers, and bounty hunters.

LEGALITY​

Legal. Ownership of blaster rifles is not restricted in most of the Galaxy, however openly carrying such a weapon in public might be on more "civilized" worlds. On less civilized worlds, it still might draw unwanted scrutiny.

To create something from canon that is also a high quality blaster rifle and modern star wars improvement of older blasters.
