Maria’s ship descends onto the planet and lands in a spaceport. Once docked she grabs her weapons and puts on her cloak. After this she exits her craft and makes a beeline for the exit and heads Out into a crowded street. She wades through the dense crowd and into an empty portion of a public square.

Astrid waded through the crowds, attempting to keep her uniform clean. She wasn't exactly sure why she was here--just that she had some free time to wander and had to grab a couple groceries from a local supermarket before she went home and dressed in some less...Imperial clothes. The glances she got were very commonplace now, especially in the parts of Coruscant that a military base wasn't located. She didn't mind. People knew better than to mess with a member of the Empire that kept order and punished those who rebelled and tried to prove otherwise.

So here she was. A few more blocks down, and maybe Astrid would get lucky with a store cheap enough to accept a few meager credits for a meal's worth of supplies. However, this square seemed a lot more empty, which made her think that perhaps it was closed or didn't contain as many popular vendors. No matter--no sense not trying, right?

@Maria

Maria who was glad to see another sith felt no care for a clear difference in faction. She approached the uniformed imperial; to ensure she wasn’t being crazy she said to Astrid: “ I noticed you from across this strange square and are you too a sith? I’m sorry if I’m bothering you but it’s different from my normal environment.”

Astrid turned, finding a woman with hair way too red for her health walking up. She instinctively brought up her guard, taking a half step back once the girl began speaking. She shrugged and eased up slightly. A fellow Imperial. Interesting...

"Well, uh, I'm an Imperial agent, so in a way yes. Astridia Kazaczecho. And you are..?"

Maria stepped back one step as to attempt to disturb Astrid less. After Zoning out for 5 seconds... she said “My name? Well, I’m Maria sloviaena and I am a sith acolyte.”

Astrid waited patiently as the woman stood there silently, clearing her through in an attempt to stir her attention. Maria Sloviaena, huh? Sith Acolyte. Technically they were allies, at least until the two parts of the Empire suddenly didn't like each other. For now it seemed like they would be on good terms.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Sloviaena."

Another difficult name, then. Good. She wasn't alone.

“Nice to meet you too...If you want you can call me acolyte Maria?” She replied inquisitively. She thought to herself “ She probably thinks the hair is dyed...Why do they do that...I guess it’s a rare sight but so are Lefties...I’m a lefty and that’s not called to attention”

Astrid nodded and decided to go with 'Maria'. Far easier than either of their last names, and quite a bit more convenient. She ignored the uniquely colored hair and then replied as soon as the Sith had finished her talking.

"Alright, Maria. Well, uh, I'm heading over to some markets to buy some goods for home sweet home. So..why exactly is this place so empty again?"

Astrid chuckled and began watching, smoothing out her uniform. She began walking, wondering if the Sith would follow and deciding it didn't really matter all that much.

"Heh, I'm not shopping for ship parts--more like parts for a good meal. But I suppose there's places along the way."

As they were walking Maria notices a large junk store with a neon open sign. She then stops walking and says” hey, Astrid let’s go check this out, it looks interesting.” She then points towards the junk store with her left hand.

Astrid stopped as Maria seemed to take interest in a store along the way. Kind of odd for a junk store to be lying around in the inner cities of Coruscant, but then again Coruscant was supposed to be welcoming of all cultures and oddities. If this was interesting, then a few levels down ought to be downright astonishing. Not that the Imperial had any intent of going down that far. She valued her life and would never enter the Underworld--not without street clothes, at least, and certainly not without any blaster.

"Sure. I've got time, I suppose."

She really was just here for some groceries--but a little bit of exploration never hurt, right?

She said “I have my lightsabers hidden within my sleeves we should be fine but still be careful” as she entered the building...once inside she fixated on a mask...clearly of sith origin which she approached and picked up she approached the counter and payed surprisingly little for the mask. The owner said “Just get it out it spooks me that’s why it’s at the front.”

Astrid watched as Maria became deeply attached to the mask sitting at the front of the stand. The owner of the shop gave her a bargain deal for a clearly quality piece of work, but then again the Imp didn't blame them. It had an unsettling air about it, one that only Sith would find alluring. She decided to wait outside and would ask a question once the Sith girl came outside.

"Interesting mask. Bargain deal, too. What's with the low price?"

She answered “He was terrified of it and foolishly thought it was haunted.” Maria then put the mask in a large pouch hidden within the abysslike her black Cloak. She then began to think: “was he right?”....”No, that’s crazy but is it really? it’s so clean?”

Astrid looked at the mask as Maria put it away. She had the most peculiar feeling about her...that thing seemed less and less normal the longer she looked at it. It disturbed her. A chill ran down her spine as the Sith went back to silence. The Imp decided to keep walking, looking for a store to buy something from. Anything to get her mind off the hairs on the back of her neck. She shuddered slightly. Maybe it was just cold.

"Uh...you think this way has some kind of store for me to get some food? I--I'm unfamiliar with this part of Coruscant."

Maria said “I think there is something with food in that direction...I am not familiar here either.” And then she heard a mysterious voice chanting something in a language she could not understand. “You hear that too...Right?”

Dash who had been trading droids along with M2 got contacted by a nearby Mandalorian scout. He spoke of two shady women, one wearing dark robes and one imperial outfit. The robed woman had concealed some strange object within her robe. He commanded M2 to bring the droids back to his ship while he flew to a nearby rooftop, one just high enough for him to get a sense of his surroundings. He clicked his communicator to speak with the scout.
"This is Wave. My position is near a droid shop. Where'd you say this pair was again?"
"I see you now. Head East and look for them. Do not get spotted as they may be suspicious."
"Copy, I'll keep watch."
He jumped a few ally ways until coming to an intersection. The pair stuck out like a neon sign thanks to the description he acquired. They were heading away from him until they stopped along side a shop and faced each other. Perhaps they were discussing about the object they had just acquired.

“I think we’re being watched” she says loud enough for the mando to hear. She then begins to search for her pursuer but fails to locate him on the ground so she attempts to reach a higher ground by climbing a fire escape. She yells out to @Astridia Kazaczecho to follow her because they might be in danger.

Astrid would have preferred to play this a little less extreme as Maria ran for the fire escape. She had no choice but to follow, despite not exactly knowing who was following them. She was also rather glad she wasn't wearing a formal uniform--fatigues and combat uniforms were far better for running around. She scanned the rooftops and took the safety off her pistol before following the Sith up the fire escape, preferring to stick with someone with a lightsaber rather than be alone. The sense of unease grew even as her mind faded from the thought of the mask.

Astrid scaled the fire escape, grunting with effort as she pulled herself up the ladder. She brought a leg over the roof, shuddering again as she grew closer to the mask again and followed Maria. Her hand reached for her blaster, but then shied away. If there really was trouble, she'd rather not get unnecessary attention.

"I'd have preferred the alleys--could have lost whatever ghost you think is after us there."
