As the Core was under attack, Heather had first assumed that this session was about Raze and the galactical threat he kept posing to all citizen of the Galaxy. The Agenda had then rolled up though and suddenly, after its most recent actions, the Empire was being accused and threatened to be kicked out of the Senate again.

It was no surprise after the most recent developments, but this meat that the senator of Lianna was fairly aware of how this wouldn't be an easy session. She still came well prepared and ready to present her points. There were voices in here, voices in the galaxy who were still not trusting the new Empire, but this was what Heather was here for: to argue and convince before they could all together discuss what really mattered.

After the first two senators had occupied the floor, the senator got up to react on it. "Honorable representatives, as senator of Lianna, I speak on behalf of the Imperial Diplomatic Corps and I'd love to get in on what the Govenor of Cato Neimodia has already hinted at: Governor Parasini, I'd also be very interested in the evidence you've gathered about us being controlled by the Sith. May I remind you that after the Sith' expulsion, our new generations of Knights have never been in contact with the Sith at all? We train squires, force sensitive initiates who deliberately join our Knights of the New Order to protect the Empire and fight what remains of the fanatics out there" she began, addressing the Governor of Opportunity directly.

"I have to contradict you with your argumentation against the Imperial Knights in general. We can assure you that our Knights are monitored closely as we do not tolerate religious practices of the Force, nor does it make sense to assume they are still Sith, because a Sith would never protect anything else but him od herself. The distinctions may be hard to see without knowing facts behind it, but we see them on a daily base and so does the Galaxy. Our Imperial Knights keep those within the Empire safe and they are giving their lives to fight for us. Ask the newly joined planets of you will - without the Knights supporting our soldiers, thousands of lives would have already been lost", she pointed out, hinting at all the worlds that had been saves thanks to the collaboration of their branches.

However, there were more points to adress after those first speeches given. "Furthermore, Governor Tendree is correct when he reminds us all of how we are still covering a large number of Galactic citizens, citizens of systems who have deliberately chosen to follow us for the stability and security we provide. Are you suggesting we simply exclude them from the senate? Do you want to silence all of their voices? Voices we represent here by our participation in the senate?" it was obviously a rhetorical question, but she was certain it would have the intended effect.

Lon, in contrast to his pre-speaker, presented an issue that raised a few more questions, yet there was also something about his phrasing that was in need of correction, so she was turning towards him. "From an outside view, we might look like the aggressor, but I think it's rather funny that what hasn't been covered in the media was that Jedi-aligned forces had threatened to breech our borders as they were rallying - a risk, we were not willing to take", she explained, hoping the other Imperial senators would back her points.

By the point that Parasini finished speaking, Xylan’s fidgeting had increased to the point that he could rip pieces of his clothes. He couldn’t believe that this insignificant man had the audacity of using such low rhetoric to attack the Empire. It was absurd and the Tionese weren't going to stand it.

After D’Avignon finished her speech in defense of the Empire, the Senator rose from his seat and approached his speaker. By this point, his pod had already got to the center of the chamber. “Friends of the Senate, I’m very disappointed that my first session as part of this august body is being marked with vile accusations against the government that I represent.” he stared toward the place where Hugo was. Xylan couldn’t avoid thinking how the man looked like a big-eyed bug with these atrocious spectacles. “There is no proof that the Empire is still being ruled by the Sith, besides a bunch of gossipy tabloids and words of a desperate Sith witch.” he wanted to say bitch, but it wasn’t the place for such language. It was her fault for them being such precarious situation. "I can't believe that you are going to use sources that had so little credibility to make such accusations."

You accuse Marshall Din and the Imperial Knights of still being Sith, but you can’t prove it. They were in the past, but since the Empire cut ties with them, they became models of the best virtues. As my colleague of Lianna had said, they help people without anything else to gain in exchange. A Sith would never do something like that.” he wanted to punch himself for needing to say compliments about the Force sensitives. If the Emperor was smart enough to dispose of them a long time ago, it wouldn’t be necessary. They were an obvious loose end that would need to be cut at some point.

The Imperial Knights had helped several planets, including my homeworld, to get rid of the Sith. They don’t practice the Dark side rituals, our government is rigid in not allowing such practices to exist inside our borders.” Xylan said, trying to give more support to what Heather had already said. “If this august body still desires to remove us, it’ll be a great injustice against all the Imperial citizens, who deserve as much consideration as any other citizen of the Galaxy.

Regarding the war against the Jedi, this group is dangerous like the Sith. Their religious views and fanaticism threaten the security of our borders, as Senator D’Avignon had already.” now Xylan could express his disgust for Force sensitives. For him, the Galaxy had evolved beyond the point of needing Jedi. “It’s a surprise to me that they are still defended, even after every terrible thing that they did in the past. Don’t you remember about the fiasco in Kashyyyk? Or the time that their Grandmaster entered the mind of Chancellor Ro during a meeting of this very institution? We are only trying to defend against them.

Some might say that Lon had given the Empire an out. A chance to exit the war with dignity. Others would say he was working against his own people, and still others might say he was enigmatic and wanted to keep his true goals masked. Perhaps it was all of the above or perhaps it was none.

What he did know was that the response the Empire had made was not one that helped their cause nor one that he would throw his weight behind.

Senator Shrialla, only moments ago I spoke out against there being evidence of Sith influence in your borders as anything more than a rumor. Now, not ten minutes later, you have stood and declared the same rhetoric that the Sith used: citing the need to start wars in order to hunt the Jedi. Call it whatever you would like, but the evidence of the Sith's influence - intentional or not - is right there, he said. The Senator's argument had effectively been the same as the Sith's "if you harbor Jedi, you are fair game as a 'threats to the Empire's borders.'"

Perhaps the words were even more condemning coming from someone who had only moments earlier offered something of support. Perhaps not. If it walked like a Sith and talked like a Sith...

The last of your people to attempt diplomacy was the late Commander Karn before his... unfortunate demise. Why has no other attempt been made? Where is the Emperor? From all accounts this Grand Marshal Din runs your Empire, why have an Emperor at all? he asked. While not a direct accusation, it was another piece of a puzzle that didn't look good for the Empire. The only member of their government to make a real attempt at diplomacy had turned up dead.

While I believe that removing the Empire from these proceedings may be too far, it is clear that they are incapable of keeping themselves free from Sith influence, and so I propose sanctions against the Empire be reinstated today, he said.

Aharon had his eyes locked on Hugo as the CZ Droid was leaned in and spoke into his damaged ear. His gaze was not of anger nor hatred, not of malice nor repulsion, he simply was trying to figure out why this Senator wanted to play their cards so soon. This move would have skyrocketed his career with evidence in hand. Whatever the reason may be it has certainly went from a small flame war to a full scale firefight. And Aharon knew he needed to weigh in on this. His finger slid over the button that would incidate he was about to speak, and when the spotlight hit him he picked up his glass and took a drink of the water inside. He swallowed, in one way he drank to hide the fact he was nervous, and slowly stood up while buttoning the lowest button on his suit jacket. He needed to choose his words carefully.

"While the Empire and I do not see eye to eye on the issues of the Jedi... I have to agree with them about these allegations. I have not seen a single scrap of evidence beyond the words of a certain dark lord who has been infamous for lying. That is what the message was, a simple lie to try and throw the galaxy against the Empire when they could be an invaluable ally. Yes they have had history with the Sith... which gives us the edge. They have worked with these people and have shown they absolutely are committed against the Sith cult. And that they have knowledge of how they operate and fight, a knowledge we can use to our advantage as a galaxy. That is, if they are not being puppeted by the Sith again.

I understand your frustration with the Sith Senator Parasini, but I have to agree with the Imperial delegation and Senator Tendree. If these were meant to be accusation they were premature. If there is further evidence found later down the line I would like to hear this come back, but as for right now I say we remove this from our docket and move on. That includes the sanctions. If we are to cast judgement let it be after an independent investigation, lest we come to the wrong conclusion. Though I will say Senator Shrialla, your words to have the bitter aftertaste of being cut from the same cloth of the Sith. I reccomend if a probe is made of this, we start with the Emperor himself and Grand Marshal Din. This way we refute or reinforce two things: the Emperor's mental state and location, and the former Sith actually renouncing himself of the order. Only then can we make true judgement."

With that he took the rest of the drink he had and downed it. He did not look like an animal doing so, or a frat boy. It was a slow, gentle tip of the glass where he kept his eyes locked on the others who have spoken. He added this not only to help wet his throat again, as the talking had made him ever so slightly parched, but he added it to add emphasis. Judgement was coming to the Empire.

Emryc kept a stoic face despite fighting the urge to roll his eyes. His ISC senators were refuting one another and neither of them were making their points articulately. Tendree essentially handed the Imperial Senators talking points to use which meant the Imperials didn’t even need to come up with their own rebuttal. The half Sephi sighed before leaning towards the mic when Champla spoke. (@Olwin )

“No, we are not going to waste our time with yet another exercise in a Force user ‘renouncing themselves’,” He stated sternly, “Today it’s Altair Din, tomorrow the Empire will find some other Force user to be the excuse for their wars. Do not contradict yourself by suggesting the accusations are premature and yet follow up by scrutinizing the supposedly falsely accused ,” His icy tone made it abundantly clear he expected the Champla Senator to sit down and shut up.

Emryc turned his attention to the Imperial Senators, “Why has your Emperor chosen Jedi aligned worlds as the primary target for his expansionist agenda instead of leveraging diplomacy in the vast amounts of neutral territories opened up in the wake of the collapse of FWA and New Republic?” He asked calmly. Shrialla’s answer was, quite frankly, extremely weak in that regard. Referencing Voran’s intrusion of the Chancellor’s mind ages ago was hardly an argument point anymore. The Empire needed to have a solid excuse for why it simply picked up the same fight it fought when it had been under Sith rule.

“Why has the Empire taken no steps to engage in foreign policy? We’d rolled back sanctions and the first course of action has been aggressive, invasive expansion,” He noted, “Why?” He patiently waited for the Imperials to answer.

Victoria sighed as the bickering went on between the various parties. On the one hand, she'd never truly had any good will towards the Empire for all they had done under the Sith leadership. But that was a long time ago, politically speaking, and the winds of change and come and gone, leaving bickering old fools to their own devices.

Sensing an opportunity to speak, the Consul rose. "Esteemed delegates, colleagues. As a proud and vocal supporter of the Jedi Order, I have become appalled and shocked to hear the senseless violence being perpetrated against worlds that have freely aligned themselves with the former." The Empire would have to deliver damning evidence to even attempt to shift her support an ounce.

Continuing, she glanced around the chambers. "The Imperial Council has yet to declare a formal declaration of war, to my understanding, and instead relied upon brute force to win the day." The IAF for all its power and hadn't always considered where they threw their rockets, nor where the unexploded ordinance could be found by children some time later.

"But I also understand and wish to acknowledge that there has been some progress in removing the Sith influence from the Empire. By all accounts, the mass casualty events that we have been forced to endure under the former have both reduced in size and severity."

That in itself was a great win for the galaxy, the new empire hadn't yet fire-bombed a planet's surface into oblivion nor eliminated one entirely. "I have also heard reports of Imperial Knight activities, none of which strike me as being indicative of being under the control of the Sith. If anything, to me, this highlights the effectiveness of their instruction and tutors."

That would be the closest thing to praise the Empire could expect out of the Consul. Nor did it absolve them of their recent actions against the Jedi. It had to end, in her mind, on good terms or else it would resume at some point in time for some reason or another. "We call upon the Empire to end their conflict with the Jedi Order and restore peace to the galaxy." But recalling back to the point of order and the reason for the discussion in the first place, Victoria would make one simple point.

"With all that being said, having strongly considered my past positions against the future need for peace and stability, I have concluded that expelling the Empire from these halls would be more detrimental than gain. A trillion souls need representation here, regardless of the hand that feeds them." In her closing statement, Victoria reluctantly glanced towards the Hutt delegation before taking her seat once more.

This would be a long day. Heather internally sighted, but her face betrayed no emotions. She listened patiently, awaiting full offense coming from various sides, but instead there were even small concessions. There was no further reply needed in terms of the Senator of Champala (@Olwin) as Emryc Thorne already answered that, but he was also the one demanding more answers, answers they'd all get.

The Consul of Gannaria (@Xorism) surprised Heather - after all, hadn't she always been against the Empire? It was just a little bit of confirmation in terms of their Imperial Knights, but it was better than nothing. Still, when the four speakers were done, it was Heather's turn to reply.

"Govenor Tendree, the Emperor has countless duties to attend to. We are his voice when he's not present here. I haven't seen your face on Coruscant either. I can assure you that our Grand Marshall is right where he should be, too. Not running the Empire, but leading our troops" she answered Lon (@Phoenix), before she faced the president of the ISC.

"President Thorne, you obviously deserve answers as I can understand how the Empire's recent actions raise several questions. There's an easy answer to why we've been targeting Jedi aligned worlds, and that's the still ongoing war between Jedi and Sith. We've thrown out the Sith, leaving them scattered and we've thus wounded them severely, but it was only logical to ensure that the Jedi remain weakened, too, as we have no intentions of getting pulled into their conflicts from either side. We're a bulwark against religious force orders in general, we're simply implementing preventive measures to keep our planets safe" she said, holding his icy gaze. (@Sreeya)

She would let Xylan handle the part about the lack of engagement in foreign politics, even though she knew it Emryc had a point. A broadcast of the Emperor and the president would have aided there course, but it seemed as though the senate participants understood of expelling them from the senate was not a logical step. @LouJoVi

Augustus had only set foot in his new office for a few short hours before the most recent session of the Galactic Senate had been called. It was a decent distance away from Rendili, but it gave him time to read up on some of those that were attending. Augustus knew Rendili politics and that of the wider Core well but those of the ISC, Empire and wider Galaxy were foreign to the man. However after hours of reading it seemed that most of them were the same, slaves to the fascist overlords the galaxy called ‘Force-Users’.

From the nattering voices of those speaking it seemed that Augustus was right, the Force-Using scum had their slimy mitts all over the speakers in the room. Speaking of slimy mitts, Augustus made sure the Hutt’s beautiful gift would be set aside to help expand the AFuS beyond the confines of Rendili. Although part of him wished to enter his voice at this movement, it seemed at the moment if nothing proper would come of this point nor would it need the good service of his voice. However he took notes, much of what was being discussed would be saved for the latter points which Augustus was salivating at.

Emryc, the President of the ISC, the most powerful and largest governing body in the galaxy, stared blankly as Senator D’Avignon told the hall that the Emperor was ‘too busy’. He wasn’t going to poke holes into her counterpoints because it was clear she didn’t buy into half of what she was saying herself. However, one thing was for certain…

“Outside of a clear case of sheer incompetence and lack of direction from the Empire’s leadership, I see no cause for ousting them from the Senate,”
He stated flatly, “I motion to toss this proposal,” Emryc didn’t care to hear what Shrialla had to say. This was all wasting their time. He was more curious on what the Empire’s plan was for curbing the abomination problem if they were prioritizing weakening the Jedi. Doubtless that would come up again as they started moving down the agenda items. He briefly checked his chrono, making it abundantly clear he was in no mood for delaying.

“The item ‘Explusion of the Empire’ is dismissed.” The Speaker said with authority, as the ISC President moved to dismiss it and the item’s author withdrawing his own as well. “Next: Consul of Gannaria presents ‘Darth Raze a Galactic Criminal / Discussing how to handle threat’” the speaker would look towards the consul. “You the floor Consul Victoria.”

The discussion around the Empire's actions would almost certainly arise in some form or another, either in this meet or the next. But after a scowling from Mr Thorne, it was time to move on to hopefully something a little more productive. Perhaps that would be too optimistic, alas.

"Thank you, Speaker." Victoria rose to speak plainly and firm. "Let us not beat around the bush here, we know Darth Raze is behind these scathing attacks. First Byblos, now Coruscant have come under vile assault by his actions. By all reports, the casualties will be immeasurable, and he will not stop until he is stopped."

It seemed that it would take a galactic effort to defeat a galactic threat.

"We propose that Darth Raze and any other alias he is known by be declared persona non grata by all member states and recognised as a Galactic Criminal. In addition, we also propose that a joint effort be mounted, either by supplying forces or credits to hire forces, in order to bring him to justice."

Bowing her head slightly, Victoria took her seat for the moment, waiting for the jackals to stir once more.

Steela had patiently observed her colleague's squabbling unfold in front of her. She felt no need to interject with the motion regarding the Empire's expulsion thinking it to be a meaningless endeavor.

This, however, was something she couldn't just ignore. Darth Raze was a threat to the entire galaxy, but most importantly for her, to Chandrila. When the Consul from Gannaria concluded her speech, Steela wasted no time in taking the floor. "Esteemed members of this forum, honourable colleagues." She gazed around addressing the whole of the Senate. "We are all aware of the reprehensible acts carried out by Darth Raze in recent months. We have witnessed the devastating refugee crisis caused by the destruction on Coruscant. Countless individuals, numbering in the millions or even billions, have been forced to abandon their homes and everything they hold dear. And let us not forget the innumerable lives that have been unjustly taken by his horrifying atrocities. We must make no mistake, for anyone who is capable of such dastardly acts will not hesitate to cut us all down." She paused for a moment to look around the chamber, leaving no doubt that her words were intended for all of her peers. "I support the motion put forth by the honourable Consul from Gannaria and I urge you all to consider the same as well as the weight of this threat. Inaction today will doom us all tomorrow." She ended flatly. In her eyes, there was no sugarcoating the situation.

With that, she turned off her microphone and sat down, attentively watching to see who would speak up next.

In truth, Trina absolutely wanted the Empire out of the Senate chambers. She didn’t believe they were free of Sith influence for one second. However, there simply wasn’t a strong enough argument to justify it. There was far too much reliance on speculation and tabloids, and the ISC Senators looked silly with their bickering. And of course, the President Emryc Thorne with his usual bullish nature slammed down the gavel to put an end to the discussion. Her eyes narrowed at the man. Did he have any tricks other than forcing other voices into submission to his whims?

She nodded after Victoria and Steela spoke, leaning forward to join in, “I concur on all accounts. Kuat commits to provide both economical and military support. I also encourage the formation of a research and science task force to study what these creatures are. Focusing all of our attention on Raze could prove detrimental if we first don’t identify how he operates or how his…armies function. We need to identify what these creatures are and how to quickly eliminate them before our militaries can be effective,” She looked over to the ISC Senators, “I have full confidence that the ISC can also get onboard with the rest of us, especially with their vast droid armies that cut down the risk of organic life loss until we understand more about these creatures.”

Trina then looked at the Imperial Senators, "And I'm confident that in light of your leadership and competency being challenged today, you will go above and beyond to deploy forces and take action against Raze and his armies."

Vetra does not know why she even attends these meetings, or even why she wanted this job in the first place. Aside from watching the occasional bickering, watching senators/governors/whatever make fools of themselves - it's very boring. At least the position pays well. Still though, the Corporate Sector always makes it a point of maintain neutrality in conflicts, although they may occasionally give backdoor economic support or 'donating' weapons. The Corporate Sector, despite it's presence in the Galactic Senate, rarely does try to shape intergalactic policy.

Although Darth Raze and his... creatures are very dangerous, they haven't entered Corporate Sector space yet, they have been content with ravaging Core Worlds or unimportant places like Nixor.

Vetra was there in her pod, with her crisp Blackwell uniform, with her attache with her. The Corporate Sector will be silent on this issue. Of course, all parties involved are welcome to purchase Blackwell products that would benifit. Droids, weapons... Perhaps the Disruptors that were used against AMS could aid against the aberrations.

Aharon realized that being slammed by the largest name in the galaxy probably wasn't the best move, so he simply sat down and shut up. That was the Thorne way, to charge head first into problems and not care how he looks doing it. The only being in the galaxy who could do that in a political scene. Aharon had to be tactical with his responses. He had to sound smart, and he had to make a tactical strike. He leaned back in his chair, gently stroking his chin a moment before standing and tapping his microphone button again.

"It has long been established that Darth Raze is a galactic war criminal," the young Senator spoke with a tone of obviousness in his voice, "as many Dark Lord's are. His actions should make it obvious to anyone here they indeed are a threat and need swift action to be taken against them. If we do not unite now we may be pulled down into yet another era of a galactic Sith empire. We also can offer locations of former New Republic stock piles and the contents inside to whatever military organization forms from this agreement, and any intel we hear along our trade spine. May I also suggest we add a galactic wide bounty on his head, and on any of his top ranking lieutenants' heads, so the bounty hunters may show some interest in this as well?" That part about intelligence would most likely be obvious to any of the senators or military figures present, but to the people back home it would just fluffen up what Champala would contribute. The New Republic stockpiles would be a toss up. Looters could have picked them clean by now or they could still be absolutely loaded to the gills with armaments and supplies. The only way to honestly know would be to locate them and open the casjes up.

"Champala shall not only offer financial and intelligence support to this union, but we shall offer scientific research. As I believe it would be best to split up this, not to slow it down mind you but instead from making one planet the primary target, I shall also make an offer that I can have my top bio-science laboratories on Champala working around the clock on these measures." Champala was not primarily known for its scientific research, but they still had some labs that would be able to work. It would probably be slower work than other planets but more researchers on the same task can never be a bad thing. They could all be in constant communication, sharing findings and figuring out ways to work around problems together. That would mean this process could run smoothly and quickly.

"There is but one issue the Empire may not enjoy. It has been shown throughout history that the only way to defeat a Sith is a Jedi. A Luke Skywalker to their Darth Vader, if one would like to compare. We need both the Jedi and the Imperial Knights on board. Without their combined strength the war will drag on, and possibly lead to our downfall. All I know is that Champala will welcome the aid of the Jedi, and allow them to join our military on this as advisors and expiditionaries. And if the Imperial Delegation would not allow Jedi to join their ranks, I atleast ask them to allow for those who do not have force-users in their military to accept Jedi irregular forces. Or even just as aids or consultants." He would not force the Jedi upon the Empire. He knew that would only end in ruin. So he simply would ask that they allow those who don't have their own Imperial Knights to seek aid and guidance from other force-sensitive beings and go from there. And with him wrapping that up, he sat back down and awaited the next speaker.

Holding no love for the Empire, Sith or not, Carrick wished them a long and terrible slide into first mediocrity and then into a decline so steep and so total that he could watch it crash and burn while enjoying his retirement. He also, absolutely, agreed that the Sith were still running the Empire - that calling themselves Imperial Knights didn't change the fact that they were almost to a man former Sith.

But that was none of his business.

Mediocrity, then decline - all while he sipped mojitos on a beach.

Thankfully Emryc removed it from consideration so he didn't have to spend more time on the matter. Though, when the subject of discussion moved onto Raze, Carrick couldn't help the thick knot that seemed to form in the middle of his throat at the thought of the creature that was Raze. Calling him "Darth" didn't seem right to him - Darth was a title given to many, only some of whom were worthy of the intimidating history behind it.

Raze was a title all its own.

"Comparing Raze to previous Dark Lords is like comparing a nexu to lothcats." Carrick spoke up, his microphone unmuted as he spoke to address the senator for Champala ( @Olwin ), "But I agree with the points raised by previous senators - he is a clear and present threat to all life he deems to be in his way. I vote in agreement that he be categorized as such. Perhaps it is only possible to strike him down with the Force but I am willing to pledge the research and development wing of the ISC ministry of defence, with the blessing of the President of course, to research into finding a possible method that avoids the reliance on Force-based warriors fighting him with lightsabers and 'hope in their hearts'."

He tapped at his datapad.

"I am also more than happy to begin a military build up around local ISC planets to guard the border and allow for the safe transport of refugees through our borders and out of effected areas. Droids will make up the majority of these forces to assist with resisting his... efforts." he reasoned before eyeing the assembled senators, "But I cannot agree to any ISC forces engaging Raze and his forces in an offensive. I cannot in good conscience vote to send sentients of the ISC to wage war against Raze until, at the very least, someone can provide me with an actual plan to kill this walking, talking, blight on the face of this Galaxy. Until then? I cannot stand here and throw lives into the void without hope of victory - I will only support the protection of those yet not attacked and refuge for those who have been. A shield and a hope for a new home, that is what I propose the ISC brings to this effort against Raze."

Maryenne had watched the exchange about the Empire already expecting it to never be voted on. While she never liked the Imperials and their authoritarian government, the reasons chosen to cause their removal were too weak. More proof about their affinity with the Sith should be found, rather than pointing gossip from tabloids.

At least she had the opportunity of seeing the incapacity of the Imperial senators in dealing in political debates. Even a child starting in a legislative program would be better at it than them. Poor things, their minds probably atrophied due to the lack of dispute, since inside the Empire no one can question anything.

When the topic changed to Raze, the Senator was far more interested. After Carrick finished his speech, Maryenne quickly moved to give his own opinion. “We are the ones to blame for Darth Raze becoming such a threat. The Senate should have never allowed individuals with no knowledge of what is a democracy to join us, even if they have half of the Galaxy under their fists.” after saying that, her gaze moved toward the Imperials. What she said perfectly suited their condition.

There was the Hutts, too. However, she couldn't afford looking at them without vomiting.

However, there is still time for us to stop him. For that, Gatalenta supports the proposal of the Consul of Gannaria in its totality. We’ll also dispatch part of our best scientists to help in the search for these creatures.” she still believed that the Jedi should participate in these efforts, but with the Empire here, it wasn’t the moment to talk about them.

While he was staring at the representatives discussing the threat that was Raze, Xylan’s mind was far away. After the fiasco that was their defense of the Imperial position in the Senate, with it only not being removed because the other politicians were smart enough to notice that the justifications for it were weak, the Tionese decided that he needed to drown his frustration in something. He wondered if Bonadan had some good cantinas.

He doubted it. The people of the Corporate Sector could be so dull most of the time.

His zoning was interrupted by Zanah hitting him with her elbow. “You should say something, rather than stay here with the same face that you made when you learned to use the potty for the first time.” she whispered, making the Senator turn to her immediately with a flustered face. He would kill anyone else that said something like that to him, but the Morellian was the closest thing that he had of a family, having taken care of him after his parents death. Besides, she was very competent in what she did.

Recovering from this shameful call out,the Senator rushed to his speaker. “Indeed, as many of you already said, Raze is a danger to all the Galaxy. In accordance to the Imperial desire of bringing peace and stability to all, Centares votes in favor of the proposal of the honored Consul of Gannaria.” perhaps by supporting it, the Empire would be seen a bit better.

Once he finished, the Senator returned to his seat. “Good job, now try to not doze off again. I didn't bring a potty.” Zanah whispered again, making Xylan reply with a discret gesture for her to shut up. The woman barely talked in public, but it seemed that she had took the day to torment him.

Even if the senate dismissed the item of the Empire's removal, Heather just said there, staring vacantly into nowhere for a moment, basically just thinking. While their defenses had found fertile soil, there were a few things that bothered her and chaos was all around. Raze was next on their agenda.

The Emperor would have to issue a general statement about the Empire's involvement in the matter of Raze and his abominations, but as the session progressed towards the next item, Heather followed the other Imperial representative.

"Lianna will also offer all the resources we can spare. Perhaps we can stop him from creating those terrible abominations before we can stop Raze, once and for all". Could the Imperial Knights stop him? Perhaps not alone, but given the Empire's last decisions, she wasn't sure whether Knights and Jedi could still collaborate.

"With all the votes in, the Darth Raze is declared a Galactic Criminal." she said. The senators and galactic leaders are welcome to take appropriate measures against the galactic threat as they see fit, outside this session. Roma does not need to say that. Only time will tell if this is declaration is only symbolic or if the stellar nations in this body will indeed follow up and work together in harmony in this endeavor.

"We move on now. Next item: Admission of Hutt Space into the Galactic Senate, being introduced by Dimon Fee Simm, representing Ubrikkia." she announced. "The floor is yours" she said to the twi'lek senator, her eyes would then cross to the Nor'baal the Hutt, who was seated in the guests area.
