@Miz

Almost certain you're not allowed to hand wave an attack by simply saying it missed. I specified the target.

I jumped back when I heard the first gun shot. I assumed there would be a short delay between blaster rounds. The second shot whizzed by Trillian as he jumped away. Edited to make it more clear.

There would be a delay, but that doesn't necessarily mean Mrok wouldn't adjust his aim, and unless you jumped back several feet, it wouldn't take much to change his point of aim.

I didn't know you could adjust your aim after you fired I'll keep this in mind next time. I changed my post to reflect this. In exchange for dodging the attack Trillian will need to watch his force reserves for the next turn or two to prevent from tiring out too quickly.

I don't doubt your ability to deflect bolts, but deflecting both of those bolts, in such close proximity doesn't seem viable to me.

I'll add that not both of them were aimed at your leg, and the initial slash and the shot toward your leg were done in tandem.

I'm holding the saber up in front of your blaster Barrel to create a wall per se in tandem with tiny aiming his blaster.

If you swing your arm to point the blaster so that it would hit Trillian I can see your wrist being cut by the circular motion of the blade In exchange for a hit to Trillians leg

Plus if the first shot was successfully deflected back at Tiny the impact would push him off balance missing the last shot anyway.

It wouldn't take a lot to move Mrok's wrist to fire into Trillians chest. He's not trying to place the barrel against his chest, he certainly wouldn't have to swing an arm to aim, especially with Trillian leaning down to block it.

True but by that same token it wouldn't take much for Trillian to tilt his wrist to block the second shot either by simply following where the pistol's pointed predicting the recoil etc. Trillian is smaller and force sensitive so naturally he'd be quicker and more agile and with him now being to his side his saber is covering nearly his entire body.

In order for him to track that, he'd have to know way ahead of time where and how he was gonna shoot that pistol and that's battle precognition, we're not allowed to do that.

It's not precog he's tracing his movements and adjusting his defense accordingly. No where did I say he predicted where he's aiming. He's simply keeping his blade in front of his blaster regardless of where he's aiming so that as soon as he fires it's immediately deflected. I'll tag a battle mod so we can get a neutral opinion on whats what so we can move on. @Phoenix

Here's a good example at the start of the video that shows an apprentice level Jedi easily deflecting multiple blaster bolts at melee range. I also stepped back in my last post to give me some breathing room as well.

If you think we need an admin to weigh in on this, you're welcome to make a report. You won't get anything by tagging. Your examples didn't have the shooter right up on them, striking at them in melee, and , so none of that makes a lick of difference in this situation.

Admin:

Due to the thread being an ASK and a Death Disabled, the staff have concluded you two will need to work something out on your own and therefore the report(s) has been rejected.

Understood.

@Miz, my stance remains. That's not gonna work, and you'll need to figure something else out for a defense.

The bolt has been deflected back at Tiny and the second bolt hit Trillian's (right) bicep causing damage to him. The rest of my post still applies.

Works for me. That's not an auto hit on Mrok, for the record. With the angle of the deflection I seriously doubt it would hit him in the chest. I'll finish my post shortly.

You know what? I'm not even gonna argue. I stepped well out of the way of the counter attack, and timed the kick before you drew the lightsaber. But it's cool, it's not a big deal. I don't want to argue over every post. I concede defeat, and I'll take a robotic leg.

You misread my post it's the same lightsaber and the same attack. You can't just step out of the way of a dual-phase lightsaber in a tight alleyway while you're "right up on them" by your own description. The blade was aimed to slice your arm and legs and you went for the kick anyway.

Hope there are no hard feelings GG.

You mean the same way you kept sidestepping? I'm done. I thought it'd be different if it were invitational PvP, but nah.
