♠ THEME ♠
So they had gone and comeback. Nothing seemed to have come up since they had left though as far as Koil could see. Together the two Mandalorians were just a couple of metal heads looking for some fun on one of the herd cities of Ithor. Well, Koil could always find some fun in his work.

Today he figured he would try wearing his new kama. It was dark the same as his scatterweave covered armor and while some people thought it looked a bit like a skirt he was going to give it a shot.

Down the street he could see about four people laughing and heading into a cantina. To most people they were probably just other patrons but Silent Badger knew well enough that they were members of the Galactic Alliance. He had known this was a system they operated out of. The Mandalorians and the Galactic Alliance used to be in an alliance of their own.

Some part of Koil still resented them. Actually it was probably quite a large part. But the rather drab looking patrons of the cantina were still obviously rebels. He knew their signs, their mannerisms, the markings that showed their solidarity. Plus this was Ithor. Most of the populace were Ithorians and these were two human males and two females. They could be near humans but not as drastic offshoots of the main human species as some were.

Looking over at Tagal from behind his V slit visor Koil spoke up. "Feel like getting a drink. I think some hard fighting rebels could use some free drinks."

Koil was wearing a skirt.

Sure it looked like an armoured skirt but seriously - was he actually wearing a skirt? There was probably a name for it other than "skirt" but Tagal was tempted to act ignorant and just call him out for wearing a skirt. He had the urge to have a cigara in his mouth just looking around the area they were in but he resisted the urge (or addiction depending on who you asked) because he wasn't about to take his helmet off just to light up.

He had seen some Mandalorians lose their heads because they had lifted their helmets up to have a smoke and obscured their vision with their helmet. Tagal was not about to impair his vision just for a cigara. And the idea he would take off the helmet entirely to have one was just not even worth talking about.

"I'll drink with a straw if it's all the same." he shot back before adding, "Sorry... emergency induction port."

Old Saxon slang for drinking through a straw while still wearing your helmet.

"But agreed." he tilted his head to the side slightly, "Lets get a round in, shall we?"

The same reasoning Tagal had for requesting his drink be made with a straw is the kind of reasoning Koil kept his armor on more than anyone else. He could be in his ship, out at a fair, giving orders, whatever. Silent Badger kept his helmet on at all times. The most people had seen of his face at any one time was probably just his lips on the rare occasion. Other than that there were approximately a dozen people who had actually ever seen his face and were still alive. Having your armor off was dangerous.

Glad that Tagal accepted and confirmed he was ready to get a move on, the two mandalorians headed for the cantina. "You know I meant for them to get drunk...not us. We have a job to do." Maybe his people reading was off. He wanted to make sure Tagal did not think that they were here to actually party. It was better he clarify that now before Tagal slammed a few shots and then apologized for misunderstanding the Badger.

The two would come to the cantina. Koil immediately headed to the part of the bar counter that had an eye on the door as well as the four rebels. But it would be far enough away from them that it looked like the two of them had just happened on the bar and were looking to intoxicate themselves. Silent Badger liked keeping eyes on the exits but also his interested subject though not to the point it would draw attention to himself. "Two bantha blasters please, with straws." He asked the bartender in basic for the sake of ordering the drinks.

Yeah he figured that they wouldn't actually be getting much drinking in. Was he upset with that? Not really. Tagal wasn't the kind of guy who liked drinking all that much; he found that he often enjoyed the taste of alcoholic drinks but he really did not like the sensation of actually being drunk so he was very much a "one and done" type of drinker. When around others however he was more of an enabler and had bought more than a few rounds in his day.

"I know." he admitted before shrugging, "While I appreciate the flavour, I don't like being drunk so you've got nothing to worry about don't worry."

He was looking forward to seeing if this place had any decent cocktails though.

But mainly he was here for the mission.

Approaching the bar, Tagal raised an eyebrow at the name of the drink and spoke to Koil in Mando'a rather than basic. Let the people around them worry about what secrets they were sharing. Because, clearly, they were talking about something of vital importance, right?

"Bantha blasters huh? There's a guy on my station who makes his own version of these - I don't know what he does but the flavours really just pop."

Such important mysteries.

After the encounter with the dark witch, the Grandmaster had been working with the Ithorians in order to rebuild and repair the damage that had left a massive wound where the dark enity had used her magic to corrupt and sacrifice the innocent lives for whatever it was she needed. Though they had survived, the damage had been done, lives would not be the same and the forest was slowly returning, but anyone, sensitive to the Force or not could feel and see, it was struggling also. It had been a long day, in all of this, she had attended several lessons for the padawans who remained on Ithor, learning their new connection to the Force, to understand the balance of the Light that could heal the darkness that scarred many places around the galaxy, some worse than Ithor itself.

She wished @Crix was present, he had gone on a mission, but she hadn't heard from him in a couple days. His presence was calming, allowing her to let down her walls and come out from her Grandmaster shell to just be Arda Breaux. Instead, she decided to catch up with her General, Tycho, his passion for the Alliance was inspiring even for her and his experience was unmatched by many of even the most senior members of the Alliance. He had also come to Ithor to help out and assess what the GA could do in order to help with recovery. She waited in the bar, sipping her drink until he arrived, which she hoped shortly; many have stopped by her table to greet her and ask about the state of the alliance and the Jedi, things that Arda didn't wish to speak about at the moment, but she was never one to entirely brush of people...she thought at least.

Her dark eyes watched the door every time it opened, her senses stretching out to feel for a familiar presence; her eyebrow quirked when two Mandalorians entered, it wasn't unheard of, but it was also uncommon, they tended to stick out like a sore thumb. Though there was one, she swore she had felt before (@Tagal Saxon); the woman took a sip of her drink as she watched them for a moment while walking up to the bar counter, her mind prodding to pull a name to a feeling.

It was not until after a couple of missions he personally led that the General had heard about what had happened on Ithor. Naturally as soon as he heard, the General rushed over to aid in the recovery efforts. With his fleet in orbit and some of the personnel down on the planet to add to security, it should help the people feel more at ease and safe. The atmosphere of the building certainly felt different since the last time he visited the planet before the Witch tainted the location. The General took very careful notes of what needs to be done in regards to the recovery. During his tour the General received a message from Arda to meet her at a cantina, which is fine with him of course. But he will not be able to meet up with the woman until he is done with his work, which is top priority right now.

As soon as all his work was done Tycho headed to the Cantina. Finding the building was not that hard to do, all the man had to do was to look for a bunch of drunken people standing outside obnoxiously talking to each other. That was normal, what was not normal was the two Mandalorians that headed into the same cantina Tycho is going to be meeting Arda at. Instinctively the man reached to his belt to make sure his Quickdraw was there. Feeling it was the criminal released a quiet sigh as he headed into the cantina.

Stepping inside it will not take long for the General to spot the Jedi Master, or the two Mandalorians that stuck out like a sore thumb in the rowdy crowd. Heading over to Arda the man signaled to the bartender what his preferred drink today will be. Turning his attention back to Arda the man offered the woman a quick salute, "Sorry to keep you waiting." He will quietly say to her as a drink was placed in front of him. Taking a small sip of his drink the General waited for Arda to start explaining why she had called him here to meet her, and possibly to point out the two strangers. Honestly if they didn't cause any trouble the man did not care if they are here simply to have a few drinks.

Keeping an eye around the bar Koil eventually got served by the bartender with the requested order. He passed one over to Tagal so he had a beverage in his hand. Raising the straw to his helmet he sucked on it a little. It was actually fairly well made. Maybe he would come back her for a well mixed beverage.

Turning to look at the rowdy rebels. While his emotionless helmet was looking at nothing in particular the crimson eyes behind the visor caught a few people moving away from a table approaching the bar. She looked tired, not in an unattractive way, more like she was about to smack anyone that bothered her while she tried to get a drink. But she was quickly accompanied by a familiar face. For someone of Koil's standing he did his best to keep in the know of who was leading who. He did not know much about them beyond their name. The Silent Badger had only ever really interacted with @Devrim Wolfe .

Thinking of the man brought flashes of the evacuations of Pheada, the brawl on Nar Shaddaa, it felt like a life time ago. Taking a deep breath he turned to look at his fellow mandalorian that was supposed to be a look of understanding. Next he simply clinked his glass against Tagals and turned away from him to head over to the General and the Grandmaster.

"Good evening Grandmaster Breaux, General Draykon." He stood apart from them, leaving Tagal alone by the bar counter. They had already been seen so it was not like a face to helmet was going to be any big reveal. "Can I buy you a drink?" Raising his drink hand a slight slurping sound as he sucked on the straw a little came forth while he waited for an answer.

Taking the drink, Tagal took a sip before humming a little bit to himself. It wasn't quite to his taste it had to be said but it wasn't far off it - it might be worth experimenting with in his own time. For now he sipped at the drink slowly through the straw as he notices the way Koil is looking. It's only experience with dealing with other Mandalorians that allows Tagal to know how much attention Koil is paying to his surroundings.

He turns his own head, straw still firmly in place, to regard the scruff-looking rebel and the witch.

The witch who was, apparently, Head Witch of the Witch Council. Weird to know he had hunted down a bounty with someone who was somewhat important. He wouldn't go so far as to call her important though; she was still just a witch barely out of her teenage years after all.

She was in her twenties if he recalled but she was like 12 to him, being fairly old at the age of 30.

He noisily slurped at his drink.

"Queen Witch herself slumming it with the locals and the pleb, eh?" he mused none too quietly from his position at the bar, turned to look at both Arda and her scruff general, "Wonder if they drink the same kind of drink too."

Some of the local rebels scowled openly at him and Tagal grinned behind his helmet before flipping them off, hiding his hand from Arda and the general with his body. The rebels tensed up and one of them had to talk down his buddy.

When Tycho stepped through the door, Arda was quick to wave him down, drawing his attention; he approached and saluted, Arda complimented the gesture with her own, it was a bit informal, but they were meeting in a bar, nothing they did was entirely formal. As he asked why she had called him, she saw the two Mandalorians approaching their table, but not to let Tycho hang in the reason for their own meeting, she spoke one name, "Crix." she raised an eyebrow.

The first Mandalorian that spoke, Arda recognized his armor and markings, she was sure the Empire had posted his distinguished insignia across the holo while running down the latest Mandalorian campaign that tore into the core. He spoke, greeting the two and offering to buy drinks, "No, no, let me, you're guests in our home," she waved to the bar tender who honored her request with a two finger salute, "Come, join us, this is a surprise to see Mandalorians here." she gestured to the seats across from her and Tycho and took a sip of her drink.

She looked at the second Mandalorian, her head tilting slightly as she tried to place her thumb on where she had seen him from, "I know you from somewhere, Nar Shaddaa?" she asked, her eyes narrowed as she reached deeper into her own senses. The bar tender arrived with drinks, setting the tray down on the table, serving the four of them a round of bantha blasters.

Tycho nodded in understanding when Arda brought up Crix. Of course that would be the reason she wanted to see the General. The smug jedi had gone off on a mission that may take him a couple days to complete. So it was not rocket science to figure out that Arda naturally wanted to know if the General had heard anything. But before the man could get a single word out on the topic, the two Mandalorians approached the two of them.

Tycho offered Koil a stiff nod as he sipped his drink as a way to acknowledge his greeting. Though his brow will raise slightly in response to the other Mandalorian's remark. But not wanting to get off on the wrong foot with people who are technically their guests so to speak, the criminal will say nothing about it. Besides he knows that the proud warriors did not particularly like or trust those who are force sensitive. However the one that made the remark should show at least some respect to the Alliance leader. His eyes settled back on the first of the two strangers, piecing together who he is. He had never met any of the Mandalorians, except for one during the evacuation of Tatooine years ago. This one's voice didn't match the one that he had briefly met.

Placing his drink down on the table the criminal looked to his superior as she now started to speak to the other Mandalorian. Oh he was on Nar Shaddaa? The General wondered when that was as he looked across to the two strangers. Neither of which he recognized from anywhere due to not participating in any missions with the two men nor did he pay attention to the Holonet News, except for on rare occasions when he had absolutely nothing to do. However there was one thing that he did recognize about Koil, "You are from the Solus clan correct?" He will ask as Arda attempted to engage in a conversation with Tagal.

While his head did not move in the slightest Koil's eyes moved from Arda over to Tycho and back. They did not seem to know who he was, or what he was either, perfect. The Grandmaster was acting well mannered and counter offered to buy drinks for them instead. An amicable murmur came from his mouth, slightly muffled but still audible even over the noise of cantina.

When the woman was given the drinks for them Koil raised his existing glass. "I'll finish this one first. Thanks." He took a short sip from his beverage. When offered a seat he just stood but got a little bit closer to the bar alongside the woman, staying an arms length away still. The man liked his space even from his comrades.

He stood for a moment in silence. His index finger toyed with the straw in the glass. It made a miniature whirlpool that gently spun the ice int he glass along with the bubbles. He had heard about jedi being able to read people's feelings. Despite his outward appearance Koil felt plenty. That was one thing he did not like about force users. They could tell the true way he was feeling even if he had an expression as stoic as stone and a faceless helmet on top of that. No amount of physical layers could hide what he had worked so hard to bury.

As he looked between both the General and the Grandmaster though he did not feel that mistrust for Arda. He wanted to use her own senses against her. All he had to do was face the parts of himself he disliked to do it. So he brought the strawed beverage and took another sip. He was intentionally hiding any of his other intentions with a ubiquitous amount of melancholy. His mind wandering to all the comrades he had lost so far in this war. Losing Wyatt over the title of Mand'alor. Danny getting killed. The warriors he had trained, fought and bled with and yet he, Silent Badger, had outlived them all. There were days where he woke up and wondered if the events in the galaxy would lead to his death. He welcomed it most days. But death had yet to claim him so he kept fighting.

He realized his V slit visor had been starting to stare at Tycho who had asked a question. "Yes" A moment of silence passed as if there was some sort of follow up expected. "I don't do autographs." His tone was straight forward like he had actually had to deal with signing his name before though it was all in deadpan jest in this instance.

Raising a hand over to the bartender Koil spoke to him. "Give a round of large shots over to the others over there. My tab..." He threw a thumb over towards the rebels that were being rowdy. The few that had been put off by Tagal's remark seemed to change when a new round of drinks arrive for all of them came up. They toasted and seemed to resume their rowdy behavior. Turning back to Tycho who seemed, at least compared to most people, a man of few words. Koil liked that. In ideal situation he would probably just sit at a bar and not say a word to anyone, working on his drink. "You lot seem to have settled in after you had that move"

Tagal eyed the Queen Witch a little bit before humming to himself as he sipped his drink a little more. The Queen Witch and one of her little Rebel busybodies just so happened to be in the bar eh? Well he supposed it said a lot about the Alliance that the 'higher ups' conducted their business in a cantina.

Their operational security was shockingly shite.

How the hells had the Alliance managed to Survive this long with such a disorganized feel to it? He had a sneaking suspicion it had something to do with hiding behind the armour of the Solus clan until the Sith didn't care to look at them anymore. It amused him and his amusement would be clear to the Jedi, enough to mask anything else he was feeling, but it wouldn't be directed in anyway that she would be able to see.

Let her be able to tell he was amused - was their a crime to be having a good time on a planet they were basically squatting on and hiding on?

"Yeah Nar Shadda." he agreed with an amused smirk, "We hunted down another witch together. If member serves we exploded him a bit and tossed him around a lot."

He nodded to her.

"You move up in your little gaggle of witches? Or was I running around scum-filled hell-holes with the Grand Witch herself the whole time?"

The Jedi woman's eyes light up as he described their last meeting, the events of their hunt coming back quickly and clearly as she then blurted out his name, "Tagal Saxon!" she followed with a large drink of her ale. Glancing at Tycho while he conversed with the other Mandalorian, the Grandmaster turned her attention back to the smith as he asked about her current standing. It didn't necessarily bother as much as it probably should as he continued to refer to her as a witch, by this point it was fairly common to hear herself being termed as a witch by those outside the Alliance and Jedi.

"I moved up, turns out my gaggle liked the idea of me leading them." she pursed her lips together, her thoughts turning back to even how the Force entity, The Bendu, supported her in her role now, though that was something she never necessarily shared with anyone due the grandiosity of the idea.

"Always willing to run around in hell-holes regardless of where I sit though." the woman shrugged, "So what brings you to Ithor? Its low-key compared to Nar Shaddaa, I will admit I am a bit surprised to see Mandalorians here." explained the Jedi, turning her glass slightly on the table to create additional water rings, "We've had some funny business with dark witches lately, you don't happen to be looking at that, are you?" she asked knowing the villages were still recovering from the witch's murder spree.

She remembered him eh?

Tagal grinned before his helmet as he stepped away from the bar to approach Arda. With a laugh he sipped at his drink through the straw before setting it down on the bar and holding his arms out wide. He was broadcasting what he was going to do before he did it just in case someone wanted to get twitchy and arrest him for hugging a Jedi.

They probably needed more hugs.

"Arda you witch!" he laughed as he wrapped her up in a strong, brief, hug, "Your boys and girls must have been up shite creek without a paddle to call your flat-arse up from the back bench!"

He stood close to Arda still, placing a hand on his chest.

"You hurt me Arda - we Mandalorians are people too, you know, we can go places for more than just war and killing and hunting." he paused before, rather dramatically, admitting, "Though we usually do travel to strange places to kill the locals I'll admit. On this occasion? I got bored and decided I would go shopping - my new friend is mainly along for the ride to insult me with his weak banter but we're both looking to get some good scratch. Got any leads for good credits for an old friend?"

The man seemed to have probably picked up that Koil had been involved in the evacuations for the Rebels. As a Field Marshal at the time he had observed some of the more exclusive intelligence the two factions had shared at the time that a lot of 'rank and file' mandalorians and rebels were not privy to. Looking over his shoulder he saw Tagal chatting up Arda, or at least attempting to though the Saxon clan member looked to mostly be insulting her rather than conversing.

Tycho was not much of a conversationalist which was fine but Silent Badger was not here to sit in silence alone. He could have done that elsewhere. Instead he had come for a crowd. Hopping off the bar stool he walked over towards where the rowdy rebels were located. He carried the beverage that Arda gave him in one hand so he was double fisting. When walking up they looked at him wondering what the dark and serious looking mandalorian would do. Koil brandished the drink he had yet to sip out of and handed it to one of the rebels. When they took it hesitantly the man clinked his own glass against it.

Reaching around he wrapped an arm around the shoulder of the rather average looking individual. "Have you guyz done shots of Tihaar yet? If yoou havn't had the stuff before then you haven't had a real drink." His words intentionally slurred a tiny bit. They looked at one another and shook their heads though they knew what was coming next and smiled. "ANOTHER round of shots please bartender if you'd be so kind!" He shouted and was promptly served the drinks. The moment they were given he poured his shot into his glass so he could drink it with a straw while the other unhelmeted rebels took them traditionally. They winced and coughed which was rewarded with a hearty laugh and a slap on the back from the War Councilor.

Letting go of the rebel he had half embraced he moved around to the other side of the man. There were two rebels now in between him and the rebel leadership, obscuring their view of anything but his helmeted head and raised glass with silly straw. The partying human beside him seemed to be having the most fun out of all of them though. Everyone was getting well into their inebriated states now. The music was getting louder and so were the patrons all around the bar. Koil pointed out a visible tattoo on the female rebel's arm and began making some trivial small talk about it which was easy since he had a genuine and extensive experience with tattoos. Meanwhile his hand behind her palmed her back a bit. His visor staring at her and he found her flicking her gaze at him as if she knew he was trying to get frisky with her. But a wry smile crossed her face. His glove hand snaked down to her back pocket, the one that was smack dab on her rather decent butt. He kept it there for the time being and continued to make some chatter with the other rebels.

Tagal's hug was uninterrupted - his hug had landed!

His hug was very effective!

He picked the Jedi leader up in his hug and squeezed her, shaking her a little bit in his joyous hug with such enthusiasm that he actually tripped up a little bit and crashed into the man, Tycho, a little bit. Setting Arda down, he clapped both of the high up rebels on the shoulder.

"Sorry about that - I'm dating a Deucalian and their hug game is STRONG."

It was not.

"So what's happening?" he grinned as he wrapped an arm around each of their shoulders and directed them back towards the bar as Koil fooled around with some rando rebels, "Who's buying the next round? I need, no, demand vodka!"

Before Arda could even protest, Tagal had scooped her up in a hug and the Jedi leader found this incredibly awkward and odd...who would have thought Mandalorians engaged in hugs. "I thought so also!" she agreed with her Rebels being up shit's creek. However, his hug explanation that he was involved with a Deucalian and the Jedi quirked an eyebrow as he set her down, glad her feet were once more touching the floor of the bar. She wondered for a moment, how toasted Tagal was, the last and only meeting she had with him told her he was someone that was not the huggy type. Though he insisted their hug game was strong, Arda was certain she would never hug a Deucalian...or a Mandalorian...probably not too many individuals she would ever hug.

"Your typical rebel things..." she informed, "Dark witches, Sith..." she said looking around the bar as he guided herself and Tycho to get more drinks. The bar tender glanced at Arda and she twirled her finger, indicated the entirity of the room, "Round of vodka shots for everyone."

The Grandmaster received claps and cheers at the bar counter from those who overheard her order, some shouting to the extent of it being the best command she has ever given. The bar tender gave Tycho, her and Tagal their shots first before attending to others.

"Did you get tired for the scum and villainy back on Nar Shaddaa, Tagal? Maybe we can find you a new scene." she said throwing back her vodka shot.

The gal was warming up to him. He could feel it. He continued to chuckle and take sipse from his drinks. When Tagal grabbed Arda and nearly knocked Tycho over he laughed loud and pulled his hand from the butt pocket of the female. But when he pulled his hand out he dragged the access card that had been stowed there by the rebel and slipped it into one of his own pouches out of sight.

Raising his hands above his head he made a cheering motion at the apparent announcement of more drinks despite not really wanting anymore. Dropping them afterwards he wrapped his arm back around the hip of the woman he had just stolen her rebel access codes. When they passed around a shot he held up his hand. "H-hold onto that for sec. I gotta go use the refreshersh." He slurred a word or two and headed towards the back bathroom.

"Float me...I think that shot may have been one too many." One of the rebels said and went to the bathroom too. "haha, can't hol yer liquor." He said almost mockingly but still walked, with a fake slight wobble in his step to the bathroom. The posture of a held in burp came and went for the the War Councilor. Koil had days and nights where he had actually got entirely too karked up for his own good but he wanted to keep the appearance of the boisterous and macho mando that though highly of themselves compared to everyone else. Afterall, that's how everyone expected them to act.

It was time to leave - Tagal had seen enough.

Specifically, he had seen Koil making his way away from the group. That was all. There was nothing suspicious about it to anyone else but it meant something to Tagal. Untangling himself from Arda, Tagal patted her on the back with a grin underneath his helmet as he slapped down some credits onto the bar.

"I gotta head on out Arda - you keep yourself safe, you hear?" he encouraged her with a gentle squeeze on her shoulder, "Teach your witches to be decent. Good luck to you."

He nodded to the rebel general.

Dude was a man of few words but Tagal was surrounded by chatty insane people most of the time so it was actually something of a relief to meet someone so quiet and normal. He gave some of the rebels a wave before making his way out of the bar. Technically he was leaving 'without' Koil but he wasn't the badger's babysitter.

Koil ended up standing in a stall with the sound of a hurling rebel yakking up his dinner like it had been made of hutt meat. The Echani sigh and went to the sink and turned the water on and left it running. Soon enough he figured Tagal would get that he was leaving. He activated his helmet commlink twice having the Saxon know by the clicks on his end that Koil was leaving.

Reaching up he pushed the raised bathroom window open. Pulling himself up and over the War Councilor dropped into the back alley. Reaching back towards the window he closed it behind him and headed out into the street and later regroup with his drinking buddy. There was more to do that night.
