"The Eternia System is an amazing and serene place, filled with wonders few in the galaxy can compare to. This system is home to the Scions and the four worlds they call home; the Four Pillars."

Not the best looking of the Four Pillars, but possesses it's own unique beauty than many still marvel

Coordinates: E18

Climate: As with all of the Four Pillars, the planet has been manipulated with hyper-advanced technology and terraforming. This has put it in a perpetual state they call Eternal Spring. This helps with their ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection, and regrowth. The temperature is always pleasant, never too warm or cool. Everything is always in bloom. Though there are certain areas that the Scions allow to keep their own climates; like deserts, forests, and tundras.

Terrain: Like most of the Four Pillars, this planet is primarily covered in sprawling metropolises and utopias that put other city planets to shame. This metropolises also have several large gardens, forests, and lakes that have been planted and artificially created within the cities to further improve the beauty of the Scion planet. However this particular planet's terrain also hosts several large deserts and barrens.

Rotation: Colún Chogaidh's local day-night cycle is 27 standard hours long. It's local year last 229 local days.

Inhabitants: There are no native non-sentient lifeforms on any of the Four Pillars. As vegetarians, the Scions transported the local wildlife to other planets millennia ago. The Scions are the only sentient inhabitants as they don't allow other species to live on their planets perma

Resources: The most prominent of the resources on the Four Pillars is a metal alloy they call Soul Metal. It is a metal that rivals the properties of Impervium, but is much more common and thus easier for the Scion people to acquire. There are other more common metals, but the Soul Metal is the most valuable. They use this metal in most, if not all, of their technology.

Government: Like all Four Pillars, this planet is governed by and Eldest. In this case the Eldest of War. The Eldest is elected into his position by the people, but has to meet certain requirements; such as age, experience in their particular field, etc. The Eldest governs the Pillar he represents and then all four Eldests make decisions as one for the betterment of their people as a whole. The Scion Oritorium is not currently aligned with any other group or faction.

Economy: This planets economy relies on military production and sales, as well as mining operations like all of the Four pillars. Tourism is also a booming industry, drawing thousands upon thousands to the utopian worlds of the mysterious Scions.

Culture: Scions follow the Eternal Path, a blend of religious and social beliefs. They believe that all life is connected and is constantly evolving to reach the perfect harmony. And once this harmony is achieved all throughout the universe will be joined; war will end, disease will disappear, and death will be nothing but a memory. They view the Force, which they call the Flaw, and those who use it as an imperfection hindering the progress of the Eternal Path. To further this path they follow several Pillars; War, Peace, Knowledge, and Wealth. The Pillar of War states that one must do their duty to destroy the tainted and vile. The Pillar of Peace states that one must strive to bring unity and compassion to the dark corners of the universe. The Pillar of Knowledge states that one must expand their minds and gaze upon the heavens, ignoring the physical. The Pillar of Wealth states that one must both gather and share worldly things. Each Pillar contradicts another, but the followers of the Eternal Path state that only when these things can be perfectly balanced will the universe achieve perfect harmony.

Each planet in the Oritorium has it's own distinct culture and values. Colún Chogaidh(Pillar of War) is represented as the fist of the Scion people. The seat of military power, the people here value strength and honor. Everyone on this planet is a part of the military in some way; whether making weapons, serving as infantry, or repairing ships. Killing is illegal, but fighting in the streets for honor or to prove one's strength is commonplace. It is also a way to settle disagreements. If you want a fight and then to share a laugh with the man you fought as he buys you a drink, this is the planet.

Technology: Scion technology if far beyond the galactic standards. Classified as 'hyper-advanced,' the technology of the Scion people is unbelievably advanced, perhaps the most advanced in the galaxy. Their technology is based on cybernetics, genetics, and hyper-advanced fusion. They are constantly pushing the limits of what’s possible, making ever more complex and incredible creations.

Satellites: N/A

History: Not much is known about the Scion race as they have only recently opened borders on their remote system in the Unknown Regions and begun to explore the galaxy. Though many theorize the race must be very old to be advanced as they are. They are a very mysterious people and not forthcoming about much of their history.

In fact the Scion Oritorium has existed since the time of the Infinite Empire established by the Rakata thousands of years ago. They were one of the few species in the galaxy to both resist and push them from Scion territory, remaining independent of their will. In essence it was a stalemate; the Scion could not leave their space but neither could the Rakata conquer them. So for hundreds of years the two sides watched one another with only light but constant skirmishes to break the tedium until the eventually collapse of their empire. But after generations upon generations of fighting foreign attackers, the Scion people no longer desired interact with what barbarians may lurk beyond the gates. They closed their borders and developed in sheltered safety. Others would come of course, a young Republic and a fearsome Empire, some wanting peace others wanting domination. But none would be able to do what the Rakata attempted so long ago.

They essentially ignored the galaxy, waiting until it advanced and evolved far enough to warrant their presence in it. But they weren't a perfect race. A radical man named Dar Illukan provoked the council which governed over the Scion Oritorium at the time, telling them that only one should rule and the galaxy should be explored…then conquered; that the Scion people should have an empire that would put the Infinite Empire to shame. Another Scion rose to renown at this turbulent time, Dya Illukan; Dar’s sister. She preached peace, compassion, and trying to better their race. She was beginning to get through to people as well. They put down their weapons, listening to her words. Something she said she discovered in a dream; the Eternal Path. That it would lead the entire galaxy to an endless age of peace and harmony. But Dar didn’t want this…so in cold blood he gunned down his own sister.

This sparked what was to be known as the Thousand Year War. A brutal and bloody civil war that left too many dead to count, pitting each of the four Scion worlds against one another. After one thousand years of conflict, the leader of each planet sat down at a conference in neutral space. They discovered they could no longer remember why they were fighting save for one thing; that the Prophet of the Eternal Path, which all four worlds followed, had given her life for the betterment of their race. And they realized, with growing shame, that they were failing the path that she had preached. They immediately ended the war and reunited the Scion people. They decided a new type of government was need. To both heal the deep wounds of war and honor the Prophet. They renamed the four worlds after the four Pillars of the Eternal Path; Colún Chogaidh(Pillar of War), Colún na Síochána(Pillar of Peace), Colún an Rachmais(Pillar of Wealth), and Colún Eolais(Pillar of Knowledge). Each planet would be governed over by an leader known as an Eldest and these four would help guide their people along the path that Dya Illukan had led them to. From this point on the journey would be theirs alone.

As the ages past the Scion Oritorium healed, grew, and prospered. And as they did, the galaxy changed around them. They soon began to send out small, exploratory parties. They found the galaxy was still filled with war and the Flaw, but it was also filled with more knowledge, culture, and hope. Thus the Scion Oritorium opened their borders after nearly five thousand years and welcomes the galaxy with open, but wary, arms.

This planet was the one Dar took control of during the Thousand Year War.

As a rule of thumb I do not allow entire systems to be made, for the planets to be made just for a factions use, or for this many to be made for a factions use.

Perhaps system was not the right phrasing, but these are the homeworlds of the Scion race and their entire culture is based around them and the four pillars. As of yet there aren't any plans for these just to be for faction use. I plan on making both the Scion people and their planets free use, integrating them into the Star Wars universe. To limit me to just one planet would completely change their culture, history, and in essence their entire race drastically to an almost unrecognizable degree from the vision I had for them. Is there no way to get this four planets, which happen to be in the Unknown Regions far from any Faction territories or other planets, approved?

Regardless of being in unknown space it is never assumed nobody knows how to get to them or they are completely hidden. I will not approve planets in bulk as I barely approve a single planet just for one species to come from.

It wouldn't just be for one singular purpose and I'm not trying to get a bulk deal. I simply didn't feel the need to create four separate write-ups. Also I plan to allow anyone to visit them, use them, and have them used for more than just one species' use. I plan on making it a very active and unique few planets. There a planets created with no other use than simply a one time event, I envision these planets to be more than references or places to serve one singular purpose before being forgotten. Is it really better to approve a planet that serves one purpose and then is no longer used or to allow a small group of planets to be approved and have a lasting effect used for a far deeper purpose?

It's hard to argue how active this system will be when your reply comes a month later.

Regardless, I don't give any members more than one or so each for them to create. It's part of the guidelines and even then the profiles are written for planets. Not systems. As for your closing inquiry: neither would be approved.

Well you seemed dead set against it, but since a few people have once again expressed interest in them I thought I would try and discuss it rationally with you. And you say systems don't get approved and they aren't meant for the write ups, while that may be true, member Weiss had a 'system' approved in this thread called the Avalon System. I fail to see why his should get approved and mine should not. I understand it was green ranger would did the approval, but it seems unlike him you aren't even willing to work with me to solve anything nor get it approved. You're just saying no just out of principle rather than of point. To be honest, I feel a fair amount of discrimination as I look through the species and planet write-ups as it seems you only approve write-ups made long term or prominent members.

I think the point is that in the Star Wars galaxy there are over 180 billion life-supporting planets, over 450 of which have been individually named on Wookieepedia. The question at hand is, what does approving another system of planets add to the story - beyond a few people's 3-4 threads of enjoyment?

Not saying it's a bad idea, I'm just saying it needs to withstand these sorts of questions for Johnny to take it seriously...
Plus, there's the bit in his guidelines (Source)which clearly states:

Johnny said:
6. Creating planets in bulk (as in a system or two very closely grouped planets) will not be approved.

Before you hop to stating about Weiss' system being approved, it was approved before that rule was added. Thus is "grandfathered" into existence. Much like Kushaavo & the other Kushari planets were for Jiang.

I plan on having it play a much of a major role as an indie faction can. Beyond the people that want to roleplay as Scions and want to make the Oritorium a true indie faction, it will be open to anyone in the galaxy. These planets are hyper-advanced utopias, that alone has a great amount of rp potential. Also I fail to see the distinction of me submitting these planets one at a time, as it is far more time consuming but accomplishes the same result, rather than just submitting them all at once for review. Also as for that rule, I didn't realise it had only be put up a couple a months ago after Weiss planets were approved.

But now let's answer my question; how many of these approved planets are actually used? And if they are, how many are used more than once before being forgotten? With these planets I plan on making them have a large impact, be used multiple times sometimes not even by me or those interested, and I didn't design them to serve a singular purpose but to exist as a permanent fixture in our galaxy. Then besides the rich history I developed, they offer a great deal of roleplay value/opportunity. Besides what's the difference in creating planets and just finding an unnamed planet on Wookieepedia to name? I would still be required to do a write up for a planet I wanted to name and change, even if it already existed. Also I would need to do that for four planets in the same general area. The four planets, pillars, are so tied in with their culture that it would require a massive rewrite on my part. I put a lot of work into both these planets and this species, it's very irritating and disappointing when a bunch of technicalities and one person seems to stand in your way.

after going over this a few times, I'm personally still not comfortable with a system as a whole- completely - honestly would prefer the very simple task of upping the planets scale slightly and making the others moons - that also being that as far as we know a large amount of habitable planets in a single system is rare without major technology in play. Im coming to this now since the species itself is fine, and I was waiting to see if anything came on this, touched up etc - hence why its not archived. but one thing that does still stand is that the moment it goes live it is open to others - granted they can logically provide a reason to know where it is
