Heya folks. It's me again, that transient internet weirdo that you don't know! xD

Seems I've found my way back here again in an effort to scratch that random itch to write Star Wars. Normally I would ask for help poking around and getting the lay of the land, but it looks like I wandered back just in time for a timeline change-up in December? Would anyone care to elaborate on what that means? Is that just going to be another chapter (I guess you'd call it) in the overall story? Or are we hitting the reset button and starting an entirely different story?

The answer to that is pretty crucial to what I decide to do as far as working my way into doing any actual roleplaying.

Other than that, it's good to be back. I'll just be over here, settling in. If you want to poke me with a stick or questions (I'd actually prefer questions, please and thank you >.>), feel free.

Welcome back! :3

All current characters, story threads, etc will be achieved to make room for new ones in a new timeline. There will be new factions such as the Exiles who will eventually become the Sith. Although the new timeline will be connected to and take place (LONG) before the current one, so some of the player made lore that references past events might influence it.

So since every character, and their corresponding stories, are going to be scrapped to make way for new ones, would you recommend I draft a character right now? Or would it be better to hold off until the new storyline kicks in? Three months doesn't sound like a lot of time to really develop a character's story. :/

If you want to make a character now, you can. Don't have to put a lot of work into it. But there's still stuff that could be done to hold yourself over till the new timeline. Plus you could be getting a feel for the website (again) and make friends to RP with in the new timeline.

But if you want to hold off, that's understandable too.

And hi, welcome back!

My suggestion is to create a character now and have some fun. Enjoy end of the timeline events. There's lots of interesting ones to jump into, and there is more to come.

Plus three months really is plenty of time to enjoy and develop a character. At least from my experience.

*puts my poking stick back in the stick closet with a disappointed look*

Aww, well don't be afraid to send me a PM if you need anything.

Your old character was the bomb. I think you should continue their story and then come up with something new once the new timeline hits.

I remember stumbling across some of your stuff a few months back and hoping that one day you would return and bring balance to the galaxy. Or leave it in darkness. Darkness is good too.

Well, thank you, I suppose? I honestly don't remember my old character. >.>

I think last time I was here, things were set during the same era as the movies, or thereabouts. All I remember was the Sith were the Imperium and they were fighting the Rebels. lol :P
