The Darth was satisfied and Artorigas could see the tension lift from the Overseer, even though he had power, privilege and station within the Temple here it was nothing in comparison to that of Darth Andruil and he knew it, to displease her was to sacrifice ones life. Artorigas gave the man a small bow and a pleasant smile, thanking him for his teachings. He was not yet at the level to frighten the Overseer, before catching up with the departing Queen.

As they rounded one of the cool stone corridors she asked him a basic one, one which to be honest itself had a basic answer. "Hopefully it won't displease you Mi'Queen, but Yes." He replied giving a momentary pause before continuing. "I have no love, or desire for the Dark Side or the Sith ways. To be frank, the Sith took over the space around Serenno, a Sith found me and a Sith offered me a way out of the situation I was in. If it had been someone else, I would have taken them up on their offer." It was a bold statement, but he saw no reason to hide it from the Darth. Even though he had no desire to follow the Sith ways, that did not mean he would betray them, his relationship with the Sith Eternal was somewhat symbiotic, the Sith gave him the power he desired and he would use that power towards his own and Sith gains.

Andruil turned to look at him as he spoke so bluntly. She weighed in her mind what she should do with this information. She was no fan of punishing honesty, but what he was saying was incredibly dangerous.

Her eyes didn't waver from him as she thought, an almost dangerous look contained within the golden orbs.

And so what's to keep you from betraying the Order when a better offer comes up? she asked.

What is it you really want? she also asked. That was the core of the entire issue. Her own interests were also aligned with the Sith, but she was not born into the Order. Even so, betrayal of the Order wasn't something she took lightly either from herself or from someone else.

The Darth turned in the hallway stopping their slow walk back to the 'Wyvern' perhaps the Acolyte had been to bold in his voice. But it was to late now and if he was honest it was nice not having to be completely withholder to any of his kind. Her eyes changed, yep he was defo on thin ice it appeared.

"Because I am not a fool." It was a basic answer but he would elaborate after a moment. "The Sith have given me everything that has gotten me to this point. If I abandon them what stops them from taking everything back from me? I am just a single man, I cannot fight the entire Order myself, so forgoing them is a recipe for my own demise."

He paused for a moment to allow his answer to hopefully gather him some support in the women's mind before continuing. "The strength and power to be my own man." Again it was a simple answer but it was true.

Andruil's eyes never wavered from him as he answered. Betrayal was the way of the Sith, and that meant there was always a risk of someone turning on them. But those who betrayed were still Sith. He didn't even sound as though he wanted to be Sith at all.

She took a moment to think about what he had said, wondering if what he said was really true. She didn't really trust him, but there weren't many Sith who could really be trusted. Perhaps she would keep a close eye on him in the future.

Tread carefully, was all she warned. Whether she meant in what he planned or simply in what he spoke of wasn't clear. But he didn't seem dumb. Surely he wouldn't outright betray the Order, and if he did he would certainly pay the price.

Everyone has a master, she said. But the Sith offer more freedom than most, she agreed, though it was only to an extent. It granted much power over others, but the vice of those above could be fierce. But it could also not be.

I will make my own way back to Dathomir, she said after another moment. But consider this: if power is what you want, then you would be wise not to give your allies reason to doubt your resolve, she said. It was the same thing she had seen in Malicia, and it gave her pause about him. Time would tell, but this time she would be far more cautious.

Perhaps he had said to much, perhaps to little. All he knew was that he had opened a small part of his plan and heart to the Darth and had escaped with his head and life. That would have to be the victory he took today, some part of him hoped for more, but he could also not deny that he had been reckless upon this journey speaking thoughts better kept to oneself. He would learn for the future.

"Thank you Mi' Queen, talking to you has been a privilege and an honour. I hope we meet again." He said giving her a deep bow as she excused herself from his travel. It was true he hoped they would meet again, he also hoped that his plan would have some fruit so he could prove that he was not weak and not a threat to the Sith, only a wild 'Rook' carving his own path.
