Sembla was not a world Nayeli had ever planned to visit. It was nothing special but apparently was a decent place to hide from the law. Imperial space was constantly expanding as the Sith Empire spread its wings slowly. A Sith Master like Nayeli was usually sent to eliminate enemies or secure an important target, but today she was accompanying another to stop a syndicate of smugglers. Even further than that, she was expected to arrest them and only kill if they resisted too hard. That was a bit dull for her tastes but she figured these scum criminals would fight back just enough to earn a fun night at the end of her lightsabers. The oceanic planet had few places to hide so it wasn't exactly difficult for the Sith to discover their base of operations.

"We'll be landing shortly," she voiced to her partner as the approach began. "My troops will stomp the initial resistance and hold the perimeter. All we need to do is help force our way inside to get the real leaders."

The Togruta Sith Master glanced to the back of the landing ship where a platoon of her troops were waiting for deployment. Her battalion, 640 troops total, were landing in various ships surrounding the compound to make sure no one escaped. Nayeli wore her usual duelist armor and had her weapons clipped to her belt. Once she felt the thud of landing, she would rush outside alongside her troops to assist with deterring any violence. A crimson blade and a green blade both ignited as she held a lightsaber in each hand now, twirling them at the head of her troops.

"I don't suppose you will all surrender?" She shouted to the Rodians that ran the place.

Corporal Olonn wasn't usually attached to the forces of another Sith unit commander, but after the battle of Ossus Imperial Command thought it would sound like a reward to make him follow a course on law enforcement. It took him two months of studying the basics of criminal law and the usual structures of known criminal organizations. Corporal Olonn now knew how to recognize smuggling haunts, illegal warehouses and various illicit substances and that was the reason Imperial Command had attached him to Master Nayeli Aeron's mission. He was to explain the new law to the Freega Syndicate and be the representative of Imperial Law Enforcement at this party of which too many participants were armed soldiers. There was no doubt in his mind this would end up in a gigantic bloodbath, yet there he was on Master Aeron's landing ship and watching how on first contact they all dashed outside.

"Oh boy-" Fester sighed and checked whether the powerpacks were all properly placed into his blasters. Would be embarrassing if they wouldn't shoot, after all. "-here we go destroying another syndicate in favor of the Hutt."

He then walked passed the formation of Imperial soldiers and came to a halt just behind Master Nayeli Aeron, from where he could see a bunch of Rodians hastily pick up blasters in case they had to defend themselves. "Kriff," he said, tighting his grip on his rifle, "Look at how small those Rodians are."

Many of these Rodian scum raised their blasters, but most of them realized the fruitless nature of doing so when confronted with massive force. It wasn't long before troops started moving the targets into cells, stripping them of weapons and armor. A few stragglers decided to be stubborn. It seemed Nayeli and her partner would need to break into the facility itself to confront those who decided they would not be taken so easily. Their lives had become forfeit as far as the Sith Master was concerned. One shot at her from a window, desperate to make his mark. Minimal effort was required for the Togruta woman to deflect it into the ground, but she smiled wide as she knew it was time to begin the slaughter of scum. Nayeli signaled for the law enforcement kid to follow her.

"Looks like we have some little ones to kill." She then rushed ahead towards the doorway with both lightsabers ignited still.

When the Togruta Sith Master reached the door she jumped forward in a front flip, kicking forward with her right foot to create a force blast that ripped open the locked doors. Nayeli landed gracefully and stepped into the facility, stepping over the collapsed door's remains. One of the rebellious Rodians was in the hallway, panic stricken and clearly surprised by the entrance. His rifle raised up and unleashed two shots towards Nayeli who deflected them into the walls. She stared him down and began approaching, but he ran deeper into the structure. A handful of these rebels still remained inside and the hunt was on. They had nowhere to go, as leaving the structure would mean near instant death from the troops stationed at all sides.

Corporal Olonn followed Master Nayeli Aeron and her contignent of troops towards the Rodian assembly. The Togrutan Sith was too eager to kill, Fester found, although he couldn't honestly claim not to be excited at the prospect of action after so many weeks of sitting in a classroom. "Remember," he said after the Sith Master as she jumped forward and blasted the doors, "Alive they can work for us."

The slaughter of those that resisted was a horrendous spectacle and Fester quickly followed the Sith further into the facility, where they met upon a fear-stricken Rodian that fired twice at the Torgrutan and then ran away. Fester quickly raised his rifle and fired once, but his shot was way off. He immediately followed, "Quickly, master-" he called, "-he might lead us to their leader!"

Unfortunately when he barged through the next door there was an entire group of Rodians already being rounded up by Master Nayeli Aeron's men. Now it was tricky, for Fester didn't know what the boss of the Freega Syndicate looked like and to him all these Rodians looked the same in the first place. "So," he said as he looked over the Rodians gathered, "Which one of you is Freega?" He knew it was a question asked in vain and yet he had asked it. Interrogation was something better left to those Force sensitive, he thought, for he didn't have the patience.

Rodians did not even truly belong on Sembla in the first place. They were taking advantage of this world for their little syndicate. Nayeli, even as a Sith, still had a little bit of 'save the galaxy' in her bones. This was a good situation to use it. Her rage built up as she approached alongside Fester. The soldier had the right idea, but the wrong level of intimidation. A random Rodian looked a bit nervous as he was being processed, so she pulled him away towards herself with the force, lifting him off the ground slightly. Orange eyes burned with hatred as she bore her gaze into his big bug-like eyes. Her lightsabers had deactivated and clipped to her belt now. Her left hand sparked with electricity that danced across the floor while her right hand gripped out towards her target. The Rodian struggled but it was all in vain. He was trying to avoid eye contact but was forced to maintain it.

"I believe we asked you all a question. Where is Freega?" She snarled at him and didn't even wait for a response before her left arm reached out and sent force lightning coursing through the rodian's body. "WHERE?!"

Nothing but screams escaped as the Rodian was fried to nothing more than a burnt corpse. She tossed it aside without a care before turning to the shaking Rodians in the room that remained. Her left hand still crackled with energy as she stared them down. Fear was stinking up the room now and it only fed the Togruta Sith Master's rage in the force. Nayeli knew they would talk now. She wondered which one would crack first. A single finger from her right hand pointed to a random Rodian but before she could do anything, he panicked and began to speak.

"Wait, I know where he is!" The trembling Rodian spoke quickly. "He and a few others ran to the roof to try to hide and fight their last stand. Please don't hurt us!"

Pathetic. Nayeli considered slaying the man right there, but they had an objective. Her rage would be saved for those who truly resisted. The lightning faded and her snarl became a smile. As she turned to start heading upwards, she summoned her red lightsaber to her left hand without activating it. It was time to have some fun and take down the boss himself. It seemed he wasn't going down without a fight, but the Sith Master was more than okay with that. This scum deserved to die a painful death. He wouldn't even know she was coming until it was too late to run.

"We have to warn him!" A brave rodian exclaimed before suddenly bolting for a nearby door.

The smile on Nayeli's face grew as she was amused at the effort. Just as the running Rodian reached the door she yanked upwards on him with the force and she could hear his skull connect with the doorway. The scum collapsed onto the floor, rubbing his head for a moment before realizing what happened to him. A second moment of panic came as he stood and draw a pistol, aiming it at Nayeli herself. A bolt never left the barrel. Metal twisted and contorted into a ball as he tried to pull the trigger, trapping his hand into a metal tomb of useless scrap. At this point she was just toying with him. Nayeli then yanked the metal scrap towards herself which caused the rodian to be dragged across the room towards herself. She then lifted it up with the force to bring him into the air slightly, his face up to her own.

"Don't worry, you'll see him soon." She said sweetly as she activated the lightsaber she had been holding in her left hand directly into the Rodian's gut.

A grunt escaped from the dying Rodian's mouth as he was released to fall onto the floor. His lifeless body was enough motivation to keep the others from trying anything. Nayeli brought fear to those nearby with her little display. She even felt it radiate from the troops watching. They knew who their commander was and respected her. She enjoyed knowing the troops even feared her. Now that the troops could handle the rest of these scum, there were a handful on the roof for her to handle personally. A glance and a beckon to Fester meant he should follow as she began the march towards the rooftop. The Togruta Sith Master was feeding off the emotions of fear she felt now and was propelled to cause more of it. It felt good, it felt powerful, and she wanted to feed from it as much as possible. The kill shy Nayeli of the past was nowhere to be found on Sembla.

There was hint of disgust growing inside Corporal Olonn as the Sith Master executed random rodians in excruciating ways. Still, none of the Imperial soldiers under Master Nayeli Aeron's command would dare to comment on it or report it up the Imperial command. That meant Fester wouldn't kriffing dare to, either. The current boss of the Imperial Military was a Sith Lord, after all, and he'd probably to the same thing whoever complained about the free use of their beloved Dark Side. Truthfully, it sickened Fester, but he swore an oath to the Grand Countess of Serenno who was the Empress now. There was no way he would betray that oath and he still had eight more years left on his service contract. Snapping out of his disgust when the Sith Master signalled him to follow her upstairs, Fester nodded and moved along like a good soldier.

When they arrived at the rooftop the young corporal didn't take longer than a second to identify Freego, who was despite the presence of three other nearly identical rodians, by far the fattest and best dressed. He smiled, knowing he was
correct in that assumption and aimed his blaster rifle at the fat rodian.

"In name of the Empire-" he shouted in accordance with the Imperial LEO procedure, "-Freega Syndicate will be disbanded." To make the engagement a short one, he fired a shot at Freega, who to his surprise moved remarkably quick and dodged the pulse wave bolt. "Kess off! the Rodian kingpin shouted and dashed for cover.

Luckily blasters weren't the only weapons they had.

Destruction of the Syndicate was assured before Nayeli even made it to the roof. Troops were sweeping members into jail transports and collecting contraband for the Empire's storage. This Freega just did not want to go quietly, didn't want to suffer in the Sith's hands before his death. It was as she watched Fester miss that she realized it would be best to capture him, but kill the others who blindly followed him. Freega would suffer as a prisoner before his death. Nayeli smiled as she considered the worse-than-death punishment for this pile of scum. It was fitting and it was justice. The Rodians by now were clearly shaken with fear but held their ground nonetheless. She somewhat doubted by now it would work, but she decided to have a little fun.

"Give us Freega and you will all be free to go." She lied, planning to kill them all as well.

"Suck my-" A Rodian began to yell back in defiance but found his throat suddenly collapsing in on itself.

Nayeli was not amused by their defiance but she was amused by their upcoming deaths. Her red lightsaber was once more ignited as she growled back in defiance. Her right hand, which was clutching at the mouthy Rodian's throat, flicked to the left slightly and sent the choking corpse into Freega himself. A flash of yellow in her corrupted eyes signaled she was about to unleash hell onto everybody else. There were about 8 Rodians, including Freega, among the minimal cover on the roof. They were grouped very close together to protect the stupid fat leader. One had been incapacitated already and was on top of a screaming Freega, but that would just protect the man from what was about to come. The lightning she fired downstairs was child's play compared to what was about to be unleashed upon her newest enemies. Sparks at her fingertips gave a momentary warning of the attack, but not enough for them to try to hide. Nayeli dropped her lightsaber and it deactivated as both hands sprung forward a she poured all her effort into the force lightning attack. She wondered if the disapproving little officer was watching the performance. He had to be more okay with this one, she figured. Not that she cared too much.

Screams echoed from the thugs as each and every one of them, minus Freega, burnt up in the heat of her attack. No one was spared from the painful death besides the fat boss struggling to get out from under his dead guard's body. Nayeli finished her attack and feel to her knees, hand resting on the hilt of her lightsaber. She was exhausted by the effort, but it had cleaned up the scene neatly. She glanced to Fester, a sick grin on her face despite the tiredness.

"Grab Freega and get him to a transport." She hissed between breathes, satisfied with her work.

A bad taste developed inside Corporal Olonn's mouth as it dried up from seeing and smelling the horrors that the Sith master was inflicting on the rodian guards of Freega. He realized quite clearly that the Republic of Serenno was no more and its people had fallen so far as to become slaves and servants of the fallen jedi that had once so ravaged the D'Astan sector and plunged Fester's beloved Republic in an economic abyss.

And the Imperial Military, then? A gathering of those that willingly or unwillingly fought for criminal syndicates and cold-blooded mass murderers. Fester felt himself becoming sick at the thought, but managed to hide it as if it were just the smell of burning corpses. "Roger, Commander Aeron." He said in short military fashion before coming to action.

Holstering his own weapon, Fester kicked the dead rodians off of Freega and pressed his heel into the fat frog's spine. "In name of her Imperial Majesty Empress Andraste, you are under arrest."

Freega no longer had a choice. His syndicate was no more and ths Hutt Cartel had gained another sector monopoly.
