*In his office on the highest levels of the Galactic Senate Office Building, the Supreme Chancellor sat starring out the window into the great Galactic City. For thousands of generations the city served as a symbol of peace and justice in the Galactic Republic, however many times it may have been tainted. But, another large taint was looming. The Jedi Order was no longer to be trusted, as they were unable to act on many occasions until it was too late. Then, when the Galactic Senate was bombed and Khaluq Chan'drane was made the lead investigator in the case of finding out who was behind the attack, the Jedi Order promised a swift answer to what had taken place. It was understandable that Master Chan'drane was able to deliver the report considering she had been held prisoner on Korriban and had just recently returned, but after two weeks of demanding answers from the Jedi Council he still had none. Then, the Jedi Council had the nerve to send an incompetant Jedi Master to request the use of the Grand Army of the Republic and exploit his daughter's death into getting their way. But, he wasn't concerned about that. If he did not have answers as to who bombed the Galactic Senate by the end of the day, the Jedi Order would face a harsh reality and find out just how little faith his office held in Jedi Council.*

"Janzie, please summon Jedi Master Khaluq Chan'drane and have her bring all information the Jedi Council has regarding the Galactic Senate bombing two weeks ago."

*The aide nodded, quickly sending a message to the Jedi Temple on her datapad to inform them that their Senior Jedi Council Member was needed in the Chancellor's Office. Cos leaned back in his chair, worried about the uncertain future the Galactic Republic now faced.*

Having only been on her feet for a short time, Khaluq knew the importance of delivering her findings to the Chancellor. The young woman seemed to have aged far beyond her years since her capture by the Sith and held a harshness where once there was a kindness in her eyes. The others of the Council had informed her of all that had happened since her disappearance and strange return and it all bode ill for the Republic and especially the Jedi Order.

Once the padawan delivered the request, Khaluq nodded her head and had arrangements made to meet with the Chancellor as soon as possible. All other appointments she had scheduled for the day could wait until afterwards. She knew the news would be received badly and hoped she might try to diffuse an alrighty explosive alliance.

Once she arrived at the Chancellor's office, she strode up to the aide and waited for her to get off the communicator.

"The Chancellor is expecting me," was all she said in an emotionless voice. Even her face seemed to be a mask of emotions and the way she carried herself seemed to be as if she carried the world upon her shoulders.

*As the sound of the door sliding open reached his ears, he turned to see the Senior Jedi Council Member standing in the doorway. She looked much older and obviously severely beaten and shaken since the last time he had see her, though it was not unexpected due to her experience in captivity. He stood, though he remained behind his desk. He would show respect to a member of the Jedi Order, though he would not so far as too offer them a seat and feed them grapes over a silver platter like many of his predecessors had done.*

"Master Chan'drane, I heard about your ordeal and I hope that you're alright. However, you must understand why I must skip the formallities. I have been waiting for two weeks to see your Order's findings, and I have yet to recieve them. Obviously you were not able to do so, which is completely understandable giving the circumstances of your leave from Coruscant, but it seems that the Council does not want me to know something. I hope you can clear up any doubts I may have about the Jedi Council's ability to lead in an investigation such as this."

She bowed her head to him in respect somewhat stiffly as still much movement caused her great pain. Her wounds were still mending and some wounds were deeper than others unseen by the common eye. Keeping her eyes away from his own, she crossed her arms into her robes and stared at the floor. Her face was a mask of whatever emotions she might be feeling toward his words and there was not the pleasing aspect to her presence that there once was before. When she spoke it was softly and somewhat hollow. She pulled out a datapad from her sleeve and put it upon his desk hesitantly. Truth of the matter was that doing so pained her greatly. All evidence had pointed back to one person and she did not want to believe it. Who knew what kind of reaction the Chancellor might have in response to this news.

"All of the evidence found at the sites and my findings are reported in that datapad. There is only one person the evidence points to..."

*He took the bad, skimming through the pages of unnecessary bueracratic garbaga that did nothing but bore him to the very core. But, then one name stuck out in his mind as he read who the evidence pointed to: Trillan Darksword, a Jedi Master. He threw the datapad to the ground, standing to face the window. This was why he did not trust the Jedi having the power that they did. Putting up with a radical group of non-elected religious warrior monks enforcing international law was not something that he enjoyed doing, and now that a Jedi Master had been exposed as the one who committed the attacks on the Galactic Senate his worst fears had been realized. Perhaps Ussej Padric Bac III had been right, though he never wanted to listen. But, that was about to change. Now he would listen and now he would take action. He turned back to his desk, turning on the communicator to Supreme Commander Joshua Reytal's office.*

"Josh, I have an assignment for you. You are to lead a squadron of heavily armed CSF officers to the Jedi Temple. As of this moment, Jedi Master Trillan Darksword is under arrest. The charges are conspiracy, murder, terrorism and treason. You are authorized to use whatever force necessary to apprehend the Jedi, but I want him alive. Is that understood?"

Khaluq quickly took a step toward the Supreme Chancellor as her expression changed from emotionless to a pained on.

"Chancellor Dashin, please allow me to go with this group. I can assure you that Master Darksword will go peacefully. I know the evidence points to him, but I do not believe he could orchestrate such attacks."

She knew such a request was likely to go unheeded, yet she had to protect Trillan. With the frustration and anger radiating from the Chancellor, she was concerned for his safety and his wellbeing. Trillan already had been through so much and she still could not believe the evidence. Yet, the law was the law. He would have to face trial.

*He paused for a moment, wondering if what he was about to say was the correct course of action. But, the Jedi Order had to learn somehow and they would learn through experience that the Office of the Supreme Chancellor does not take events such as these lightly.*

"You are authorized to use whatever force necessary, Supreme Commander. Dashin out."

*Switching off the communication system and turning back to Master Chan'drane, he shook his head in disagreement. He would not allow a fellow Jedi Master and friend of the suspect to potentially compromise a delicate situation such as this.*

"The evidence against him is non-circumstantial, Jedi, and I will not allow you to compromise this operation by allowing the suspect to escape. For now, you will remain in a seperate office under heavy guard. Nothing personal, but after this I can't say I trust anyone from the Jedi Council."

*He nodded to his guards and they stood beside the Jedi Master, ready to take her into the seperate room. They knew what they had to do, and the specialized squad of Coruscant Security Special Forces would guard the door assuring no escape. She would not be harmed, of course, but this was for the protection of everyone. Using a military signal he had learned decades ago, he motioned for the guards to take Master Chan'drane's lightsaber once she was placed under guard. They stood motionless, waiting for the Jedi Master to stand and comply.*

The glare with which she regarded the Supreme Chancellor showed how she felt at such treatment as she raised her arms and allowed them to take her lightsaber. Never did her eyes falter from him.

"You're making a mistake, Chancellor Dashin, and you know it. According to Republic law he has right to a trial and is considered innocent until he can be proven guilty. The Jedi have been under attack by the Shadourians and Bendu order who both have been bent on their destruction and defamation of characters. I agree Trillan should be brought in, but not like this. You will find no resistance by the Jedi and those who do resist, will face strict punishment, I can assure you."

She raised her head and stood up a little straighter.

"I want to be assured that no harm will come to him as he's apprehended just as any other prisoner of the Republic would expect."

*Joshua turned at once and left his office...He flew down a few steps quickly until he came outside another office...He walked though without knocking....Sitting before him was a balding man in his late 40s who jumped as joshua entered*

"Josh..You...."

*Josh cut across what he was going to say with spoke quickly and clearly*

"Dominic...I want you to put together a team of 700 hundred of the best Csf and Republic special forces we have...And I want them ready for departure in 1 hour"

*The man whos name was obvioulsy Dominic looked horrofied by that*

"An hour...How the hell am I..."

*Joshua cut across him again*

"I don't care how you do it but we arre marching on the Jedi temple to arrest a jedi master so get going!"

*He looked even more horrorfied by that as Joshua left the rooom quickly moving off to et another office for yet another assignment for someone*

*The anger washed through his eyes, flickering with hatred and annoyance towards the ignorant Jedi Master. How little these Jedi truly knew about the workings of the Galactic Republic amazed him, though blowing his top would be his oppositions dream. He had to keep cool or suffer the consequences, namely defeat in two years.*

"Those who resist will have no opportunity to face strict punishment from you, as they will be arrested along with Darksword. No harm will come to him as he is apprehended, so long as he does not resist. Resistance is futile, and I assure you that he will stand trial as promised."

Ooc: Supreme borg more like!

*After an hour Joshua stood in the departures area of the Republic headquarters....Millions off soliders had passed though here on the way to fight the mandalorians, the sith and all the other enemies of the Republic but even Joshua who was not the biggest fan of the Jedi Order couldn't believe what he was about to do...Though atleast he would be remmebered for it...Dominic came running towards Joshua as hundreds of men geared up for the short...Well walk to the Jedi Temple*

"The men are briefed and ready to go Joshua...How are they getting there?"

*Joshua smirked as he turned to look directly at the Jedi temple*

"Walk of course"

*He said as if it was most obvious thing in the world...As the men finished there preparations in the massive departure area Joshua looked down on them before shouting out*

"Let's move out men...You have your orders and today we do not fight an enemy of the republic, But the republic stills calls on every single one of you...To do what is right...We will walk directly to the Jedi temple form here...Walk up that famous hill...No women, children or men will be in our way as a carfew is in place on this part of the city...Let's Move out!"

*The massive doors dropped down in antisipation of massive craft and such moving down to be loaded onto Republic ship's but hundreds of heavily armed troops walked out with the temple just a miles walk from them*

She could see she had pushed the Chancellor too far and struggled to quelch the fire burning within her at the treatment and view he held toward the Jedi. It was clear to her now that the Republic had already taken their stance in this and the lines were drawn. There was no confidence held toward the Jedi by those high up in the Republic ranks.

"I suppose that is the best I shall get then. Very well."

She bowed stiffly to the Supreme Chancellor and allowed the guards to escort her to a nearby room where she could be watched as they apprehended the man she loved. Yet, even in her mind she knew their place as Jedi for the Republic, whether they were wanted or not. The distrust of the man behind them would not change their oaths and vows as Jedi.

*The street leding up to the Temple was deadly silent...There was no zoom of a speeder engine or the talking of thousands of different conversations...Just the sound of marching as th emen walked along slowly....The Temple came into view and the pace quickened it's march...Joshua stood at the very front of the line off men...What a strange situation this was..He had never been traiend for something like this that was for sure....Oh well...You learn on your feet...The hill up to the temple seemed to help them up as they walked it in what seemed no time at all....He turned around and did a hand signal to the various squad leaders to hold there position....Which was repeated to the hundreds of men*

*Joshua took a depe rbeath before walked forward in the shadow off the massive Jedi temple...He looked up at it...Not in awe...But with a slight bout of annoyance frankly...This temple took up so much land...and to think of al the people in the depths of the city with no homes....protecters of peace and justice huh...Bah yeah right...He walked to the door of the temple...He loked up at them before moving towards the computer terminal...He brought up the communication section and spoke into it clerly*

"I am here on the orders of the Supreme Channceller of the Galactic republic of planet to arrest the jedi master Trillian darksword....Open the door"

*The sapphire bar of energy that was the blade of his lightsaber shrunk away into its hilt upon hearing the communication. He clipped the ancient weapon to his belt and moved to the nearest comm console to reply to this unexpeted group of seemingly very well armed visitors.*

"This is Jedi Council Member Trillan Darksword. What is the meaning of this? under what charges am i being apprehended under?"

"I beg your pardon? Thats..impossible. No matter, i will go quietly, no need for violence. Im sure once hte trial is underway all will be set right again. It is a shame that the Chancellor would suspect one of his own to be guilty for such acts"

*He met them at the gate wihtin minuets and stood submissivly ready to comply with there orders*

"Cuff him"

*As Joshua said this...with a poisenious glare towards the Jeid several men came out with a pair of handcuffs that were put on him...A solider walked past with a neurel disrupter but Joshua waved him away*

"I won't use this Jedi....Don't make me regret it please"

*Joshua turned his back to the Jeid as he brought out a small communicater...He pushed a few buttuns before uttering into it in a firm bussiness like tone*

"Channceller...I have the Jedi...where would you like him taken?"
