The lizard like creature did what it could to try and avoid the final, lethal shot. A duck was attempted, but was useless as the sharp cortosis woven steel simply came in contact with the center of his face. Splitting in two under the harder steel the now dead Yuuteg fell in a heap. His crushed skull pouring out a mixture of brains and blood as his body twitched with the last signals his brain had sent off.

"Good... good my Apprentice!"

Walking over to the dead body Avare' quickly glanced it over, the dead Barabel was an obsolete race now, no sense in keeping him here.

"These damned creatures... thinking they can stand a chance against a true Sith! They fail... they all fail..."

Shaking his head in disgust he walked into the seperate room looking at the many tables, it was a mess hall...

Terith looked down at his blade covered with brains and blood and then crouched down to wipe it on the dead barabels clothing and then placed the vibrosword back on the rack he had obtained it from. He then stood up at followed his master to the next room. Looking around the mess hall he saw rows of tables, "Why have we come here Master?" said Terith.

Looking around slowly there was no true reason they were here, it was once a training room, though it had changed. Turning to face his Apprentice he crossed his arms and motioned at the many tables.

"This was once a training room.... not a mere mess hall, not a place of relaxation... a place of death! Power! Strength! I'm sure you feel it... the lives that were once ended here.. their darkness fills this room... even that Barabel's life force is in the midst of us now.. weak, but there!"

Walking towards the center of the room a durasteel crate no smaller than 5'x5', very large. It had been placed there by his calling, this is where Terith would construct his lightsaber. In the distraction of the dead, though their embracing arms would give him the hate, the anger to construct a powerful weapon. Calling upon the Force he took control of the crate, expanding it until the objects within fell to the floor in a heap of scrap. Much of the pile would be sent to a junkyard after this training session was over. Though the parts necessary along with some added accessories for the lightsaber lie within the large pile. Much of the objects appeared to be what a lightsaber would be constructed of only to be a false or broken part.

"The parts you need for your first weapon... your first lightsaber lie within that heap my Apprentice... they call to you I know this..."

Walking towards the dueling ring that they had just come from he stopped.

"Construct your weapon.... bring it to me and we shall see if you have constructed a worthy creation."

Walking into the dueling ring he knelt in the center and fell into a meditation, waiting.

Terith gazed at the heap of parts on the floor. He could indeed feel the whispers of the dead around him. Terith took his old lightsaber off his belt. He looked at it, then unscrewed the bolts holding the cover into place. He reached inside and took out the crystal, the one thing he would keep. He looked at the now useless lightsaber and realized that it was a token of slavery. The man who had taught him all he knew before Terith had killed him, the man that called himself Darth Revan, was a fraud. Because of the strong force aura around him he could call upon it and detec a small subtle force charm on the lightsaber, a charm that would make Terith believe what ever that man had said. Terith grew angrier by the second, feeding that anger he let it grow into an inferno and reaching out with his mind, crushed the useless hilt into dust. He looked back at the heap of parts and started sorting them out..........................................

-------------------------3 Hours later----------------------------------

Ahhhhhhh, finally. It was finished. Terith looked down at his new lightsaber. The slightly longer than normal saber held a few secrets for the unwary. The hilt itself had a curved S-shape, with a thick ring in the center. The metal that Terith had constructed it out of was black, and the overlays were a striking gold. The gold overlays spiraled down the hilt in intricate patterns that confused the ye if they were stared at.

Terith walked up to his Master and said, "Master I have finished the construction of my new lightsaber."

Standing from the Meditative trance he gave his Apprentice a simple nod. Taking it from him and giving it a quick inspection. The ring in the center made him curious and he gave it a slight twist followed by a tug. If it were detachable to form two lightsabers he would be impressed. It would not be his first time encountering a blade of such though. Admiring the elegance of the hilt he opened it, placing the dark red crystal within the depths of the internals. Closing it back up he hit the activator and with a hiss the blade came to life. Should the hilt have split it would need a color crystal on either side for both ends to activate. A crystal he had sensed on his Apprentice. Giving the blade several spins and swats at the air that only a Sith weaponmaster could perform he disengaged the blade. Handing it over to his Apprentice he gave him a nod of accomplishment.

"A well constructed blade my Apprentice, I feel we are nearly at the end of your training. There is little we have left to do, though I'm sure I could conjure up something to do as a test... something to test your true power, your true potential."

Terith took his new lightsaber back, proud that his master thought it was well crafted. He ntoiced where his master had placed the new crystal in his saber, and was glad he had placed it on the correct side. Now there were two crystals in the saber. Unlike some double bladed ligthsabers that ran on one crystal, and therfore had weaker beams, Terith's saber now had two full strength beams. He could see his master looking at the ring, and he had probably guessed that the lightsaber split into two parts. However, Terith had learned something from an ancient Sith holocron once, something he doubted even his new master knew.

"What ever it is Master, I shall triumph in it."

Avare' smirked at his Apprentice's arrogance, it was good that he was strong in himself. Then a thought popped into his mind, this is the student he would take to the place Revan had once visited. He would feel the true Darth Revan's power, and he would embrace, or buckle under the extremity it casted. Pulling his hood down for the first time he ran his hand through his mid length black hair. His crimson eyes piercing through his Apprentice.

"We shall leave Korriban, there is a place of true power, a place you will find much use in, and a place I may even find interesting. It has been sometime since I have visited this place, so long that it was when I was but a Jedi. We shall see what has happened to it...."

((Make a thread in Story would probably be better.))

Terith felt a chill go up his spine. Leave the academy! This must surely be a great test his master was putting him through.

"Whatever you wish my Master."
