*The moon lit the surface of Shaderon with a light glow, the nocturnal creatures out foraging before daybreak, trying to get whatever food they could before some of the predators begin hunting. Outside the halls of the Shadourian temple was a small shack, built and owned by the Shadourian Master known as Jace Arcage. Through the dark night, the only visible light came from the small bulb which hung over the work bench Jace had been sitting at, swinging back and forth slightly from the fan that blew a chilled wind at his face. The usual silence that settled on the peaceful planet at night was interupted by the clanking of a mallet, pounding at a slab of heated Asutoron. What turned out to be a slab earlier was now carefully being molded into a blade, a gentle curve rising at the end of the soon-to-be katana. The edge was incredibly sharp, sparkling as the swinging light touched it's surface. The grind ridge came to a perfect edge, emphasizing the multiple sides of the blade. Smoothing out the tang, Jace slid the multiple parts of the guard on, including both the collar and blade collar. These parts were neccasary for safely engaging in a duel. Molding the handle to fit over the tang, he wrapped a beautiful ribbon around it in a pattern which went to the very end of the handle, finally fitting the pommel on top. Picking the katana up, Jace inspected each aspect of it, checking the weight, balance, sharpness, and everything that made it an expert model weapon.*

*Jace sighed, due to his lack of sleep. He would soon finish off his newly made katana with a few more details.*

"Here comes the fun part...", Jace said, picking of a small, sharp pick which would pierce the hard metal of Asutoron.

*Carefully placing it upon the blade, Jace tapped it with a smaller mallet, chipping off bits of the darkened metal. With over an hour of work, a beautiful lion encrusted the blade of his katana, glimmering as the moon pierced through the window of his shack.*

"Now for the finishing touch.", Jace said, yawning as the night almost came to an end.

*Drilling an eye-sized hole through the center of the handle, Jace fitted a glowing, blue orb into it, charging it's life with his own inner force. Smoothing everything down to finish the last details, Jace slid the Katana into a premade scabbard he had made earlier. Piercing a small hole in his finger tip, he ran his finger across the sides of the scabbard, marking his new blade with his own blood. Shutting the light off in his shack and locking it up, Jace gave a goodnight to Shaderon as he began on his trip home.*
