BIOGRAPHY

Eluum was born on the planet Eshan to a stern yet loving warrior caste family. As such his upbringing was routed in the traditional Echani culture. From an early age Eluum, as the youngest of 3 children, was trained in the combat arts of the Echani by his older sisters. With a larger frame, and an atypical lack of interest in the martial arts, Eluum often struggled with the techniques, his father noting this inability to advance as rapidly as his peers was due to a lack of focus. Often Eluum's thoughts would drift beyond Eshan and the Echani. Holovids depicting the galaxy at large often held his attention and interfered with his training. As he approached his pre-teens Eluum began having visions of distant planets, and the suffering of the Galaxy began to permeate his vessel. This sensitivity to the energy of the universe further interfered with his training to his father's dismay. As such his father saw to his training personally from here, and great strides were made. It seemed as if Eluum was finally beginning to become the warrior his family wanted to be. That was until the day the Jedi had arrived. A small squad visited Eshan in search of potential Force Sensitives. A raven haired woman, adorned in Brown robes locked eyes with Eluum as he watched the Jedi make their way past his home towards the Garrison and in that moment Eluum was stunned. He could feel an energy coursing through her, the same energy he had felt during the visions a few months prior. The Jedi seemed to notice this has she stepped away from her squad immediately to embrace him. After a short conversation with his parents, Eluum was informed of his potential to become a Jedi, and when offered to join them and train to become one he was elated. Not by the idea of becoming a Jedi, but by the opportunity to explore the Galaxy he had been dreaming of all these years.

Personality

Eluum comes off quite aloof at times, as his mind constantly wanders, entertaining all thoughts and possibilities. He can be a bit of a jokester, which allows him a certain level of optimism no matter how bleak the situation can be. Though he is quite intelligent, this rarely shines through as he often prefers to play the fool, which might be a ploy to lure potential opposition into a false sense of security. As a Jedi, Eluum is devoted to altruism and seeks to restore peace to the Galaxy. This endeavor drives him and when peace is threatened he will go to great lengths to stop that threat.

Skills

As an Echani, Eluum is well versed in Martial arts, though he is no master by any standard. This training allowed him to crossover to weapons training very well. As a lightsaber duelist Eluum excelled greatly, becoming proficient in form III, V, & VI by the time of his Knighthood. Being ambidextrous he crafted a lightsaber that will allow him a greater level of versatility. He is well versed in Jar'Kai as well as saber staff combat, and prefers to wield a saber staff as he is more comfortable with a larger weapon. Eluum's Force capabilities are focused inwardly, as he mainly uses the Force to bolster his senses and physical attributes. He possesses average telekinetic strength, but intense combat precognition that aids him by allowing his body to be a vessel of the Force and guide his actions, although this ability severely drains him when used excessively.
