NAME: Elroy Pherae (fair-eh); goes by Roy
FACTION: N/A
RANK: N/A
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 19
GENDER: Male
FORCE SENSITIVE: Unknown; (I'd like it to be discovered IC that he is)
CREDITS: 1,500

APPEARANCE:
chr_11_roy_05.jpg

Roy has a lean, muscular build, and is able to stay at the peak of his strength and speed because of an intense personal training session held daily. He stands at 5'10", and weighs approx. 175 lbs. His hair is bright red in color, unusual because it is natural, and he has blue eyes.

ATTRIBUTES:
Roy's life and the activities performed during it have allowed him to reach his physical peak, without influence from the Force. His speed is absolutely incredible, as well as his best physical attribute. His physical strength is also very good, but not quite as good as his speed. Both are very key to his fighting style, which is comprised of powerful hit-and-run style attacks, getting in and out with as much precision as a vibroscalpel in a surgeon's hand.

However, his time spent focused on combat has led to a lack of both book and street smarts. His education was somewhat poor in the area of mathematics, sciences, and socially, even, which has led to an average intelligence in those aspects, and also provides a lack of experience in the areas.

Roy is also untrained in the Force, not even knowing he is sensitive, in fact. This provides an interesting occurrence when he does meet a Force-sensitive, as he can do quite well against one on his own, without help from Force powers. He also feels himself connect to them easier than with other people.

And finally, Roy's biggest weakness (in his eyes), is that he is unable to speak Basic. He is very fluent in Mando'a, and can understand most of what people say in the common language, but he cannot speak it for some unknown reason.

PERSONALITY:
Roy is an upstanding, thoughtful, and idealistic young man who repeatedly shows a desire to help and support others, despite his language barrier. While he would prefer to avoid bloodshed, he maintains a strong resolve to see peace return to the galaxy. Unlike some young men, he is perceptive and cunning for his age. He often reacts calmly and tactically to disturbing news. In combat, he remains unusually calm and relaxed, but still alert and attentive. This is most likely because he feels like he's at a second home when on the battlefield.

BIOGRAPHY:
Roy's beginnings are a mystery, even to himself. He has no memory of his parents, or if he ever had any family he was related to by blood. He can only remember being the ward of a very wealthy man since the age of three or four. It was this lonely man that raised him, with the help of a large staff that tented to his estate, and assisted with Roy when they could. During his childhood, he didn't speak much, and only ever learned to speak Mando'a because that was the language of the house. When he turned six, his training began, as he needed to be trained as the wealthy man's heir. However, due to a late-discovered trauma the man had, Roy's main focus was made combat, and he missed any formal education so he could "protect" the man. Despite it being a forced path, Roy made the most of it and worked as hard as he could. He gained a strong sense of honor from the old man, who he discovered was once a great Mandalorian warrior, until one day he could fight no more.

Roy's training moved along, and due to his sheer force of willpower, he reached his peak right before his twenties. When he hit his early teens, he began spending time in the flight simulator, and playing virtual reality combat simulators to get in practice against different styles, rather than against a stale-moved training mannequin. He even competed against the other youth in the area, and won very frequently.

Just before his nineteenth birthday, his mentor/legal guardian became quite ill, and passed away. As the only legal relation, he inherited the estate, and also became the owner of a larger company in his area that belonged to the old man. After several months of planning, asking, and finding, Roy sold the company to the people he believed could best care for it. Then, using the money he received, he purchased a ship and a suit of armor, unknowingly fulfilling the Resol'nare. Then, he sold the estate and gave the money to the former staff, enough for them to support themselves for a long time. Then, he took his ship, armor, sword, and the remaining money, and left.

SKILLS:
Roy is extremely proficient in swordplay, using a powerful, precise style mixed by strong swings and swift stabs. Some might even call him a blade master. He also spent thousands of hours in the flight simulator, and gained a small reputation among the youth in his hometown as one of their best interceptor pilots. His speed and strength have also opened the doors for feats of physical power, as well as a stronger willpower than most have.

GEAR:
Cortosis-weave Vibrosword - 38" Blade length
A light durasteel composition, made of a chestplate, backplate, layered shoulder plates, gauntlets, kneeplates, boots, and a metal plate tied on as a headband (it covers his forehead). There is scatterweave threaded in the outer part of his cape, and his chestplate is coated in it. The shoulders and gauntlets are made with Cortosis weave.
