Okay so...for about the first 18 years of my life I kept telling people I'd never watch Star Wars. Not once. My reason was that I tend to go all fanboycrazy over things I find new and exciting, and with the popularity of Star Wars rather obvious, I knew that I would gush over this franchise.

The fact that I'm here shows that that resilience didn't last.

So yes, I'm rather new to Star Wars. I browse wookiepedia now and then for random things but I'm still a greenhorn. Please be patient. I really am excited to try this out and would gladly accept any possible advice.

As far as character creation goes, I'm thinking of a jedi apprentice-type character with a thirst for more knowledge (the scientist kind, not the sith-lord-waiting-to-happen kind) and an interest in pathology and bio-technology. Still trying to flesh him out in terms of history and personality.

Welcome to the SWRP! At the moment, it's pretty exciting with the Republic just about to come and bust up the party between the Hutts and Dark Jedi. One of the Jedi knights setting up a Conclave to begin their reaction to the Dark Jedi (Which means your Jedi can jump right into the action) and a Republic raid on Taris along with other little conflicts including Jade Galactic, a major corporation.

Yeah, my first thought was the same, only with technology instead of biology, and then I thought, "Wait...aspiring jedi knight with a knack for building things...that sounds familiar," and scrapped that bit. Still trying to decide things like planet of origin, family life (I plan on making his parents dull as possible to give him a sense of ambition), and how he'd ever get in with the Jedi Order. I'll figure it out eventually though!

We've recently switched to a new server and the vBulletin software is a bit buggy. Our tech admin is doing his best to fix the problems, it'll be fixed soon enough. Feel free to add me on MSN or Yahoo. As for proofreading, I'd be delighted!

No, there's no age limits on characters though I would stay below twenty standard years for a padawan.
