[Arda Breaux]

Sen Yuan, is the top shareholder of Bespin’s largest private bank has gone missing. Last of anyone saw him he was enjoying himself at Sleeping Bantha Hotel before leaving with his latest mistress her name is unknown and she is missing as well. Supported by local authorities your team’s task is to find and hopefully recuse Yuan. Doing so and we’ve earned his undying gratitude.

Arda was a little displeased having traveled to Bespin in order to help with an investigation that involved with the corporate elite. She had grown to despise these individuals while living on Corellia as they lived comfortably while the rest of them struggled day to day in order to survive. However, she knew this mission was important for Hugo and knew at times she would have to do things that she personally detest, but if it meant to make the Alliance stronger, she would help in the ways she could. So now, she was present with two others, Jake, who she had met on a mission a while back with Hugo and then there was Tyler Ward.

After they had left the police station, having talked to the detectives about what they knew so far, she turned to the Rebel, placing a hand on his shoulder. She had not really spoken to him since Nar Shaddaa, she knew it was his shots that were in her back, but it wasn't something he could have predicted that could happen, "Hey," she said, lowering her voice some, "I never got a chance to talk to you, but I heard about what you did when Aurora ran back to the council, and I just wanted to thank you for doing the right thing." she said, feeling her words spill rather quickly, it felt obvious it was a little rehearsed, she had gone over on what to say for a couple days now, but she wanted to say something to him.

"You have a good heart, Tyler." she smiled and then turned so she was facing both of them.

"I think we should start at the Hotel and see if there isn't anything there that was overlooked." The Knight suggested.

[Tyler Ward]

Tyler had no real love for corporate stooges either. Or nobles. Or royals. But alas it turns out that a galactic revolution against the evil Empire isn't cheap. Hence the GA team being here to find this Sen Yuan since he appears to have gone missing. Last thing they know is that this 'Sleeping Bantha' hotel and nothing else. So, they will have to figure this out.

The Alderaanian is the odd one out on here, his partners for this mission are both Jedi: Jake and Arda. Jake he has never met before but is a younger Jedi, most likely a padawan. Arda, it's been a long time since he seen her, nice to see a familiar face. Truth be told he felt a bit awkward being with her, considering what happened on Nar Shaddaa. What a mess that was. After Arda placed his hand over his shoulder and listened to her. "Thank you." he sincerity said. "Glad you are okay. Sorry about what happened. Everything." he spoke softly nodded his head solemnly, finally apologizing the bes. He still feels like he's blame since it was his blaster shots that her. It was unintentional, but he should have been more careful.

He thankful she is still with them and not dead or turned into a Sith. Tyler doesn't know what exactly happened to her while she was in Sith custody, but whatever happened, she's okay and that's all that matters.

Now onward with the mission - now looking at the Arda and Jake - Arda suggested they start at the Hotel first, the last place Mr. Yuan was spotted. He had no objections. "Agreed. There also might be some regulars we can talk to, maybe someone could give us some more insight." he also suggested. Who knows.

[Jake2]

The idea of helping people was something that Jake all ways enjoyed and unlike the rest of there party Jake did not have any really feeling towards the Rich and powerful. Just as many poor people could be Snobs that are full of them selfs ad a lot of the rich and powerful did a lot to help out those in need. The entire point of this operation was built around that idea. Though Jake did not know where to start since they had no leads other than the hotel he went missing from and the person he was with.

Jake was glad to be on a mission with another Jedi again and Arda was while trained and a good person to have on you side. Tyler was not a Jedi but this was a good thing. He would have different set of eyes and ideas. All to often those who only think the same can not grasp some thing that is beyond them. Indeed Jake was Confident that the three of them had a good chance in finding there missing person.

Tyler was right, they had to go to see what the locals knew but Jake all so knew that two Jedi may be able to see things that the cops may of missed. "While looks like we all agree we should head to the Hotel and see what can be seen and hear what can be heard. Hopefully we can find out the name of the Lade he is with." Some thing was fishy about the fact she was gone to. She was Jan Doe and probably not the target yet she was taken too it seemed. Hope fully they would not find her body discarded some where. Then again there was all so the chance Sen Yuan was dating the very person who kidnapped him.

Arda nodded, seeing they were all in an agreement she led the way to their speeder and headed to the hotel. It was some distance away, but they made good timing regardless, arriving without any interruptions. Contrary to its name, the Sleepy Bantha was not a bad place, more upscale, but not out of someone's budget who was not in the elite, in fact, it looked like a family and Arda grimaced at the thought of curious business happening in such a trusting place. She glanced at her two partners with a curious gaze to judge if they were thinking the same thing about it also. Regardless, she went inside.

They would be greeted immediately, by the looks of it, a hotel manager; the human male extended his hand to the three as though he were expecting them. "Hello, hello, um, I just had gotten a call from the detective, she said you guys might have been coming down to ask around, how can I help?" he asked. Arda was a little off-put by the manager's eagerness and over-enthusiastic greeting.

"Hello, yes, we are assisting with looking into Mr. Yuan's disappearance, what can you tell us about it? Like can you remember anything that you thought was odd that evening?" the Knight asked, and the manager shook his head.

"It wasn't odd, in fact, we really didn't know who he was until the detectives showed up a couple of days later to ask questions, but we can give you the room they were staying in, the police had us block it off still because they were still looking around." The man took out a piece of scrap paper and wrote down the room number and door code to let them inside and handed it to her, who passed it off to Tyler after glancing at it.

"Thank you." she said and turned to Jake and Tyler, "This will probably get us nowhere, but let us try." she told them leading to the room.

[Tyler Ward]

Once they gotten inside the Sleeping Bantha, Tyler looked around on the inside. Looks alright. Looks like somewhere he would hang, not being too 'fancy' but not doesn't look scummy like an establishment on Nar Shaddaa would be. But alas they have business to take care of here and can't dilly-dally.

Once they got to the hotel manager, Arda did the talking. The manager didn't really seem to know who he was. The best they have right now is the room number and code for where the Mr. Yuan was staying. Tyler took the scrap piece of paper after Arda passed it to him.

Tyler nodded at Arda as they got off to the hotel room. "Don't suppose that there is anything the Force would be able to tell us is there?" he wondered aloud half-seriously after the hotel manager dismissed himself. Can the Force actually do that? Who knows.

They would then go make their way room, they really didn't have too far to go before they get to the door. The door has been blocked off with caution signs to keep out. Obviously that isn't for them and they can just go in. With that, Tyler would put in the code on the piece of paper on the keypad and with that the door would open and they would have the whole room to themselves. The detectives might have already looked but there could be something that was missed. Anything obvious the GA team should already know prior to coming here, but one can never know. Once the door was open, Tyler would step in and scan through the room and see if he can find anything out of the ordinary.

Of course as the top shareholder for Bespin's largest bank, he'd have one of the best accommodations.

[Jake2]

The trip to the Hotel was fast and uneventful. The Hotel it self all so seemed like a average Hotel that people on vacation and Business used a place Yuan would blend in to easily.


The Hotel staff though was more than happy to help them even though the help they could give was limited it was still a good sign. Jake could only pray that the rest of the people where so willing to help.



Jake chuckled when Tyler brought up using the force. "The force all ready told us to come to the Hotel for we are at the Hotel. It is now up to us to see what the force wants us to see" Jake understood that many people did not full under stand the force and did not blame them. Even many force users did not under stand the force


Entering the Hotel room it looked untouched. It seemed the local crime scene investigators where good at there job. Still they could of missed something. Every thing was where it should of been but What Jake wanted to know was more about the Women. Was she a local or all so traveling. It was all so strange that there had been no ransom demands yet. Normally high level people are kidnapped for a ransom but there was something else happing here



"I wonder if we can learn any thing more about the women Yuan was with. So far all we have is security camera footage. Maybe she has a bag here we can use to gather more info on her."

Tyler inquired about the Force giving them a clue and Arda couldn't hold back a smile, she wished the Force worked like that. "Maybe, it's fickle sometimes." she told Tyler as they approached the room. Jake remained relatively quiet, speaking up though about the Force already guiding them to the hotel presently, however, that was another debate in itself, one she had stumbled upon on a datacron from two Jedi Masters engaged in some boring philosophy lecture from five centuries prior on such topic. The mere thought of it nearly brought about a yawn from the Knight.

Inside the room Jake suggested to find if the woman left behind a bag or not; the place was as it were when the two had left and disappeared and there was a sinking feeling in her stomach and her brow furrowed in thought. She walked over the window and glanced outside, careful not to touch the glass, her dark eyes skimming over the tops of the buildings before glancing back at Tyler and Jake.

"They didn't leave in a hurry, she didn't leave anything behind. I am starting to think this is a set up, she or her boss figured out who he was and might as well get some bank from it." suggested the Knight, "But we should still check out the security footage from this place, hallways, people, anything that can give us a clue as to who or what has Mr. Yuan."

[Tyler Ward]

It's fickle. Of course... he thought to himself. Anyways, going in the suite and then looking over, it would turn out that, as Arda said they didn't leave anything behind. Tyler listened to Arda's theory about Yuan possibly being turned in for easy credits. "Yeah. Maybe perhaps the exterior cameras may have caught something at some point around the time they were known to have left." he said, also suggesting and throwing ideas out there. Maybe something happened outside the building after they left. Maybe something happened in one of the alleyways or maybe not, who knows.

Anyways none the less, after Tyler would start making his way towards the security room where they would be able to look at all the footage Since they are assisting an investigation for the local authorities, the two Jedi and the rebel have good reason to be here. Tyler would open the door which had an employee's only sign on it and sees one member of security sitting in a chair looking at a datapad as there are monitors on the wall showing various angles of the place inside and out.

The security guard would look towards Tyler as he opened the door. The security guard inside was briefed on the situation prior to the rebels arriving to the Hotel and knows that the rebels would be coming in for only one reason, to review security cam footage. The security guard would then step out of his seat. "Guessing you guys are here to take a look at the footage. Here you go." And now the Rebels can begin where they want. Tyler would take the seat. There were another two seats conveniently for the other two. With that Tyler would be pushing keys on the terminal for the monitors. "Now to see if we can spot anything out of the ordinary." Tyler would wind back the time on the footage, going to time when they were supposed to have left, then going through the various places that should get the guy or/and the woman he was with on the camera.

Tyler should have brought a drink with him, because this might take awhile...

[Jake2]

Jake could only hope some clue was left in the room but that was not to be the case. Still they had only started there investigation. "Agreed we should look at the exterior camera to. Maybe we can see what vehicle they used to leave the the hotel. That may allow us to see where they went next."

The security room was all ready set up for them. It seemed the Local police knew what they where doing. Taking a seat Jake looked at the terminals. "Get to the camera that in the hallway. Hopefully we can follow there route they took to leave the the hotel room." Jake had to think that if the Yuan was kidnapped by the lady he was with it was a very good way to do it. He probably happily followed her to the ambush when they left.

As the footage moved Jake spotted the door opening. "Stop, there she is. We should scan her face maybe they some thing in the records." Jake all most missed the Empire with it's fast database on people. A facial scan there would reveal a lot. Meanwhile they would be lucky to get a name and would have no idea if it was even the real name. "Lets follow them on the camera and see how they left the hotel."

Arda followed the other two in agreement with needing to look closer at the security footage; she fell into her thoughts, trying to piece together the clues they did have and isolating the questions that have yet to have answers. When they approached the security room, the sinking feeling in her stomach returned; her senses reached outward, trying to grasp a better understand of unease she was feeling from the Force. The security guard was present, welcoming the three inside and giving them access to the old surveillance tapes. Arda didn't bother to sit as she watched the screens, letting a long slow sigh as she knew it would take a moment to move through the footage from when he had arrived to when he had gone missing.

However, as they carried through the holo-films, the electricity flickered and the Jedi Knight came to attention, her senses on alert and not from being startled with the flicker of power. It would be then all the security holos would switch off, leaving the three without access to the holo-tapes. Arda pulled her blaster, knowing very well something was not right and it was confirmed when the door opened again, now two security guards entered with their blasters pointed at the group and the Hotel Manager entered inside.

"All right, this game is done." he sneered, clearly impatient with having to wait until the trio became comfortable before he made his move. "Hand over your weapons."

"Explain yourself." Arda demanded and the Hotel Manager gave a coy smile and then fired his blaster into the ceiling, clearly revealing his answer.

"Hand over weapons now. There is no where for you three to go and no more for you three to be sticking your nose into." he told him waiting for them to surrender their weapons.

[Tyler Ward]

As he was watching the holofeeds and listening to Jake, suddenly the feeds were switched off all at once. Then the doors opened after that all of a sudden. On reflex, Tyler grabbed his blaster pistol with his right hand stood up quickly. The hotel manager came in with his guards and declared this game is done and demanded the Jedi and the Rebels hand over their weapons. Arda is right they aren't giving them anything. Tyler had his pistol leveled out as well just in case, this is a tense situation and blaster shots can be spewing at any moment. He would have all hotel staff in his line of sight and be ready to pull the trigger if needed, but if there was a way to stop this without anyone getting killed that would be preferable, but they can only try.

The manager still insists they hand over the weapons and they aren't to be sticking their nose in anything anymore, and even fired a blaster shot into the ceiling, more or less confirming that he's up to no good and is most likely behind the kidnapping. Tyler would look at the hotel manager and then respond to the following. "You do remember that you are up against two Jedi with the force and lightsabers and a heavily armed man, do you? Do you really think this is going end up going well for you guys?" he asked to him and his security guard accomplices. If Tyler was a hotel manager he sure wouldn't be pulling a blaster on a Jedi. Tyler's question could either persuade one/some/all of them to give up, make them hesitate for the GA team to get the drop on them first, or rethink their plan all together. Either way, still a volatile situation that can escalate quickly and Tyler is prepared for that just in case.

[Jake2]

Jake not ready for the holo vid to stop just as they found some thing useful but the fact all the monitors died meant this was some thing more. Spinning to the door Jake watched as 3 people entered two with weapons drawn.


Tyler brought up a point that they might not know what they where getting in to, but Jake did not think that. These people where desperate and acted knowing the risk. still that meant they knew some thing.


"i will like to remind you our mission is to recover Sen Yuan. not go after his enemies. so if you tell us where he is we can avoid bloodshed." Jake really did not want to fight and really did not want bloodshed but either way had a hand resting on his blaster. "So why don't we all calm down and talk."

The guards that accompanied the Hotel Manager looked rather more uncertain after Tyler spoke, glancing quickly at one another as their weapons slightly bowed for a moment before raising them again. However, this time it was not in confidence, but in fear as their attitudes changed. Jake tried a more passive and diplomatic route, but the manager would embrace his stubbornness.

"I said what I needed to say. Sen Yuan is not innocent in all this, he threatened to put me out of business, so this is business, not that of the Jedi." he hissed, but it was all Arda needed to hear as she threw out her hands, the Force followed, pressing the men swiftly into the hallway wall behind them. They were all in a bit of a daze, but it they wouldn't come out of it quick enough for Arda and the others to disarm them. She quickly gestured the other two to apprehend the guards, and grabbed the blaster from the manager while his fingers weakly grasped the weapon. He let out a yell of frustration that everything was falling apart.

"That's all we need to know, but whatever your plans were, they're done, and Sen Yuan can do what ever he wants." she told him.

[Tyler Ward]

Tyler had his eyes on the manager and his guards and with his words he could see that his guards resolve wavered. Still, this was a tense situation and he would be prepared even if the younger Jedi's words failed to calm down tensions which he fully expected, blaster bolts could fly at any moment, although that would turn out not to be the case.

The Hotel Manager had a big mouth and implicated himself, and Arda just like that capitalized and let out a wave of the force and sent the manager and his goons off his feet. With that, Tyler didn't need Arda's non-verbal signals to disarm the men, he would move forward with his blaster leveled at the hip, ready if the goons try doing anything funny.

After all their blasters are secure, Tyler would look towards Arda and smile and then looking back at the corrupt hotel staff. "Well, it looks like it's just not your day." he snickered as rubbed it in to the formerly smug hotel manager as their scheme to take a rival out of the picture was turned upside down. Now all they have to do is get them to the station, interrogate them to find out where Yuan is. Once they do that, the GA will have his support.
