Being only nineteen, Ejanni is fair in face and body, free from the blemishes of age on his lightly tanned skin. He is tall, but not disproportionate, with a thin but toned body type. His shoulder-length white hair is held back by a simple leather tie, and is often dirtied by the smog and tiny debris of the space-stations he frequents. His eyes are a pale green, with flecks of brown about the iris. His face is clean shaven, with sharp and angular features, hawk-like and streamlined; as if any unnecessary proportions were cut away.
Clothing-wise he normally adopts the brown and tan robes that were associated with the old Jedi order, the second of his two momentos from his master. Generally however, he chooses to wear normal spacer garb, blending in amongst the various travelers that inhabit the stations he travels between. -
Ejanni was born to unknown Sephi parents upon his homeworld of Thustra. He grew up in an underfunded orphanage, run by an elderly couple who treated Ejannni and his peers well. He was never lonesome in such a packed place, with helpers constantly rushing about and his fellow orphans arguing or wrestling for what few toys there were. Amongst such surroundings Ejanni held onto one thing, the visits of his uncle. He always loved the visits of "uncle" Kal Jan, an old Kel Dor who was apparently a friend of his father during the years before Ejanni was born. Ejanni would often pull upon the Kel Dor's robes in an attempt to get him to tell one of the many stories he had of the old days. He never understood the grave and hushed tones the man spoke in when he secluded himself in the study with the elderly couple, nor of the words "sensitivity" or "force" that leaked out when he placed his ear upon the door. It wouldn't be until his eleventh birthday that he would find out. In a blur of excitement and confusion Ejanni boarded Kal Jan's spacecraft with a small bundle of secondhand clothes. The last look he got of Thustra was it fading away as the craft prepared to leave the system. His "uncle" was really a Jedi Knight who had learned of Ejanni's force sensitivity from strange occurrences that had surrounded Ejanni since he first arrived at the orphanage. His father had apparently been a rogue force user that Kal Jan had been acquainted with, before he had, leaving only Ejanni in his wake.
It was aboard the elderly Kel Dor's spaceship that Ejanni first learned that he was to be a Jedi, an order he had only heard of in nighttime stories or venerative tall-tales by the older orphans. He learned of the force amidst the lower echelons of society. Amidst the slums and space stations where the law often lacked presence. He learned of mercy and of peace, of order, and of strength. The two of them journeyed across the galaxy in search of the oppressed and in-need. They made their home in refugee camps and halfway houses, but never once did Ejanni meet another Jedi, it was just him and Master Kal Jan, roaming the places his master believed they were needed. It continued this way for years until Kal Jan decided it was time for the two to make their way to the Outer Rim for a final test. On the way the two were attacked by unknown assailants in robes, they boarded Master Jan's ship and attacked the two. Numbers were on the aggressor's side and Mater Jan was killed, forcing Ejanni to escape in a rickety escape pod with only a spare set of robes, and his masters yellow lightsaber. It has been three years since then, and Ejanni has been wandering the Outer Rim stations and star ports by stealing onto freighters and transports all the while trying to find another member of the order he apparently belongs to. -
At first Ejanni may seek like a gruff and no nonsense man if you're just meeting him, but under the surface Ejanni is lighthearted, adventurous, and kind. Despite a past of constant running and a feeling of failure he still is able to keep himself upbeat and jovial, even in the face of certain doom. He always finds a way to make a quip or joke in any situation, sometimes in the middle of a tense situation. He is a sure ally to anyone he would call friend or family, and will be as unyielding as the very stars when it comes to their defense. He doesn't trust strangers easily, and as such keeps them at an arm's length, being very careful with who he chooses as friends. Ejanni also often rushes headlong in problems when he feels that someone needs his help, a carryover from his Master's personality during the years they traveled together.
Ejanni has been alone for almost three years now, with no close friends or family since Master Jan died defending him. He deals with this loneliness by constantly looking ahead and distracting himself with the small details of how he's going to get to the next station or hideaway. He hopes to one day find another Jedi like him, as his only connection to that mysterious world was his Master. He hopes to one day master the strange abilities Master Jan had taught him, and maybe even one day be apart of the stories he had heard so long ago. -
Ejanni doesn't own much more than the clothes on his back, a pack, and his masters broken lightsaber and has almost no credits to his name. Apart from the clothes he wears on a daily basis he owns a set of tan and brown robes, nearly identical to the robes his late Master once wore. He also owns a small blaster pistol that he "won" from a quick game of dice aboard a freighter he snuck on. His last possession is a small datapad with many of his Master's teachings on it, he often reads it to help him sleep or for guidance on what he should do next.
The force grows:Ejanni possesses basic training in the art of the force, able to push pull as well as a host of other basic force skills. He would be unable to stand against a well-trained force user.
Bilingual: Ejanni is able to speak galactic basic as well as the language of the Sephi
Master's Blade: Ejanni is able to use his master's lightsaber to block and sometimes deflect a few blaster bolts, though mostly he does his best to dodge or get in cover.
Shot first: Ejanni is generally adept with a blaster, able to make a shot if given enough time, though generally he tries his best to stay out of conflict if he can avoid it.
Sneaky manner: Given his history of sneaking onto freighters and transports Ejanni is adept at sneaking and staying hidden, though not quite a master as he has often been found when trying to leave the ships he snuck upon.
Splicing for a home: Ejanni has learned to splice open control panels in order to get into ships and other places that would otherwise be barred to him. He is able to translate this ability to other basic mechanical tasks, but it's fifty fifty to whether or not he does it right. - Threads
