Intent: To produce a rifle available for the common person that can take out any foe!

Size: Average size and weight for a sniper rifle. 1 meter in length. About 10 kilograms.

Composition: Body is Durasteel while the clear cylinder is made out of reinforced glasteel.


Range: Optimal range: 500 meters Maximum range: 750 meters

Ammunition Capacity: 4 rounds per clip.


Description: Have you ever wanted a sniper rifle that can melt through steel plating and blow someone's head off? Who wouldn't? Those at Thanatos Industries certainly would. That's we designed and manufactured the EHPR2. Big things come in small packages.

Now what does our gun do you ask? Good question! Our gun does what any plasma rifle does, but better! Our rifle shoots a round of super heated plasma at it's target. This plasma bolt has the capabilities of melting through a centimeter of reinforced durasteel and still making a gaping hole out of your target's forehead! Although our rifle is bolt-action, something seemed to be left behind, it makes up for it by having great accuracy, low recoil, and utter badassery!

Made from reinforced duresteel and glassteel, this weapon was made to the last. Designed to be slim and slip streamed as possible this rifle looks pretty damn cool.
Warning: do not put limbs or face near heat vent.

Stats: Bolt action; prevents the gun from overheating.

Variety: Although the paint job it the same between all the models you can order different metal finishes. Gold, (Pictured above) Silver, Brushed Iron, and Dark Steel.
Optional Modules
Advanced scope: Replaces the standard scope with a scope equipped with variable zoom, thermal, and night vision. 500 extra credits
Custom stock: This replaces the custom stuck, with a special rubberized grip for reduced recoil, and allows finer adjustment for the stock. 300 extra credits

you might want to make an assault rifle, I don't think there's been a single PC killed by a sniper unless they both planned it that way. I just don't want you to work hard to make something you'll only use against NPCs.

I meant commonwealth as in it was purchasable by the general public. Only recently did I realize that there's a company named commonwealth.

If we assume that durasteel is, millimeter for millimeter, twice as effective as conventional steel plate when used as armor, then that makes this as effective as an M3 tank gun firing armor-piercing shot. If we assume that durasteel is, millimeter for millimeter, equal to steel plate, then it's as effective as a 2-pounder anti-tank gun. In either case it's totally, hilariously non-kosher.

I'd almost be okay with it punching an obscene amount of armor if it was a ridiculously heavy weapon that was just barely man-portable, but this is a relatively small weapon no heavier than a conventional anti-materiel rifle. I'm going to decline it in its current state.

10MM of durasteel would be more acceptable, especially if the ammunition capacity was reduced to not more than 5 rounds.
