Dwight Antilles was a Junior Senator representing the Kingdom of Alderaan in the Republic Senate. Dwight Antilles was born into a distant branch of House Antilles, separate from the main line. Reluctantly, Dwight went to the University of Alderaan with politics as his field at the behest of his overbearing parents. In time, he started making contacts with the Hutt Cartel. Dwight in time became the Alderaan Junior Senator, being appointed to his post after Lucille became the new Queen of Alderaan. Although inexperienced, he tried to Queen Lucille's line quite well while maintains his contacts with the Cartel, although on the down low, although certain events transpired outside his control during the investigation of Alderaan where he was forced out of his position. Right now he serves the Sith Empire as a Junior Moff.

▵Biography
Born in the Kingdom of Alderaan, Dwight Antilles is a child of noble birth, being born in House Antilles, although he would be in a distant branch from the main line. Dwight had a brother and a sister, whom all were raised over strict parents who had a plan to steadily mold them into model people who would prosper as they grew up, Dwight was the odd-one out, as he was a rebel and troublemaker at heart, putting him at odds with the rest of his immediate family. He wanted to be a normal commoner child, but still enjoyed taking advantage of the perks of his upbringing when it was convenient. In his primary education, although he was capable, he just couldn't care less and his grades were lagging behind that of his brother's and sister's. The "motivation speeches" wouldn't help, the private tutors wouldn't help either. As he was approaching his young adult years, he was dabbling in things like rankweed and marcan herb behind his family's back as he hung out with the wrong crowd. He was caught a few times, it really was a wonder to him why he wasn't just disowned.
Dwight, at the instance of his parents, went to the University of Alderaan when he became an adult. It was either that or he would cut off from the house hold and the families credit flow. There he studied politics just like his brother and sister. His parents till held out hope that Dwight could be a diplomat. He then came into contact with a few Hutt Cartel agents willingly, contacting them on the Holonet with everyone none-the-wiser, forming a good rapport with them and maintaining close ties, with various favors being done both ways. He also made friends with people in House Ulgo, another noble house on Alderaan influenced by the Hutt Cartel. That made University all the more bearable to him. After he graduated from University with his degree in politics, life would get more interesting as he was approached by his Cartel contacts once again, offering him a place in an organization that had interests in Alderaan and on Nar Shaddaa. It had seemed legitimate on the outside and that sufficed in keeping Dwight's ties to the Cartel under wraps.
He would be with the organization for quite some time, then news came out about the passing of Amelia Antilles, who was the Queen. He found out from his Cartel-aligned contacts that the Cartel plans on bringing in Lucille in an alliance with them in an attempt to get Alderaan to become a Hutt-aligned world. Dwight supported this endeavor. When Lucille was declared the Queen, it would mark a new era for Alderaan. After Queen Lucille would ascend to the throne, she would need able-senators who would kowtow to Lucille's stances. After putting himself out there, Dwight Antilles was appointed to his post as Junior Senator of Alderaan behind-closed-doors primarily due to his ties with the Hutt Cartel and him being different from the usual cookie-cutter politician even if he isn't a seasoned veteran in a political arena.
The position of a senator isn't a popular or glamorous one, but he proclaims he is a man of the people, will work in the best interests of the people of Alderaan, work on finding resolutions to war, and other promises, while still taking dirty money from the Cartel behind-the-scenes whenever it benefits him
▵Personality
Dwight Antilles isn't the one to lack for confidence, he has a high opinion of himself. As a Senator, he cared little for the well-being of the Republic or it's people as a whole. He put Alderaan above the Republic, but he was willing to put himself even above his own home planet when he was able. Dwight was content taking dirty money from the Hutt Cartel or other seedy people or organizations if it benefits him in exchange for favors. Although he styled himself a man of the people and breath of fresh air among the senate, in reality he didn't care much for the people of Alderaan.
In Dwight's viewpoint, credits are the only thing that matter at the end of the day, and "never trust anyone" is a rule in Dwight's playbook, being cautious about people possibly backstabbing him, and not being afraid of doing it himself when it benefits him. Dwight Antilles is a pretty casual and 'chill' person and likes dispensing with the pleasantries and formalities when he can. Although normally smiling and collected when things are going good, he can be impulsive and rash when things don't go his way.
Dwight Antilles is a commoner at heart even if he did gleefully take advantage of the perks of his noble upbringing when it suited him and does see himself above most people. He dresses casually when appropriate and prefers the darker seedy places of the galaxy as opposed to the luxurious upper city venues the lot of the time. He really doesn't enjoy politics either, but his parents forced him into the field.
▵Skills and abilities
As a freshly appointed Junior Senator and a young one at that, Dwight Antilles lacked the experience that most people in the Senate have, although during his time in the Republic Senate he had gotten quite a bit of hands on experience. Dwight is a knowledgeable and as well as a smooth, energetic talker. He has shown he can be quite underhanded as well and doesn't always play fair. He isn't afraid of lying or manipulation to get what he wants, Although Dwight hasn't had any real experience in a firefight, he is a good shot with a blaster pistol, having spent some time at the range, although he really isn't a hardened combatant otherwise and would most likely need protection from other people, but when it comes down to it, he isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty.
