He turned back when he heard the kid screaming "Kid, Nak get out of there!" Kal Nar roaring leaping from the top of the container. He flip in mid air his light saber jumping to his hand a green light flashed a Reverberation sound as the saber moved through the air. The Cathar Jedi landed next to the boy his light saber moving in circular pattern sweeping away one of the hands. The sound of flesh burning away the smell filled the area.

OCC: This is sooooo....... cool

Stay calm
It was the thought that instantly sprang to Zaren's mind. An instinctive reflex, to protect him from the dark, constricting tendrils of panic from which there is no escape. The ship had been stranded for a while, so the systems were just faulty, he reasoned. The Jedi tried the obvious solution, but the door's control panel was locked out. He needed to find an administrator's access. Zaren became lost in thought, speculating at the different locations on the vessel that might be nearby and useful. He didn't know the inside of this ship at all, so he would first need to find a map or the schematics. Or he could attempt to follow an alternate route back to the hanger. Amidst all these different ideas, a sudden, peculiar feeling emerged. Zaren sensed something dark. No, something beyond dark, devoid of light so much so that it seemed completely... dead. Then it grabbed him.

Zaren was both shocked and horrified. In that split second of contact between them, the Jedi was overcome with mental visions of death, of hunger, and pure malevolence. The next second, both the creature's arms were sliced clean off, and Zaren kicked it to the ground 6 feet away. He watched as it stood, almost entirely unfazed by its injuries, and lunged towards him again. The Mandalorian acted quickly, driving his white hot saber straight through its chest; a finishing blow. The fiend faltered, but did not fall as expected. It continued to walk towards Zaren, further onto the blade. Almost panicking now, the Jedi lifted both hands sharply, bringing his lightsaber up with it, unseaming the monster from the centre of its chest to the tip of its head. The body parted each way as if it had been separated with a meat cleaver, and fell to the ground, finally defeated, but carried on twitching and pulsating. Zaren shook off his momentary feeling of relief and realised he had to warn the others. He now knew what happened to the crew...

the war Leviathan approaches the ship extending its docking port attaching with a cool hiss. 100 Marines gather by the port two marines are fiddling with the port. kann walks towards them donned in his Mandalorian medium armour "sir, are access codes are being denied. it appears the system has been locked down, how do you want to proceed?" The Marine barks at him saluting.
"blow it open, we're going in there no matter what" Kann responds with a second thought. immediately Kann and the Marines fall back to a safe position as demo expert places charges on the docking port.

Once everyone was clear, the explosives were blown creating a man-size whole. the marines begin to make their way through clearing entrance, once the area clear kann stepped through. "you're splitting up into your platoons to search the ship for anything that can tell us what happened here. 1st platoon, you're with me and we're heading to the bridge. everyone else choose a level and search it. understood?" all the marine officers' nod and they all break into different directions, cautiously walk to their intended areas. kann leads the way to the bridge with his platoon at his back.

Hearing a tweet tone from his comm unit on his wrist Kal Nar knew he could not answer at it. His light saber made another quick sweep. he turned as he reach out with his hand claws extended out as if to strike the air its self. The clawing like motion stop and his fingers extended and his claw flat. Kal Nar focused the force in to a blast at blew everything back away from them "Jump! Kid!" Kal Nar roars.

The doors on the ship weren't lightsaber proof, as Zaren could tell with a cursory glance at the obvious durasteel construction of the shut port he had just walked through. However, he'd also notice, now that he was looking in the direction of the menace he had just offed, that a faint trail of blood could be seen leading to an open door off to his left; the only open door in the corridor, in fact. Not that it was supposed to be open, however: the door had been rent asunder by great force. Like it had been smashed through.

A piece of metal clattered to the floor just within the threshold.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Commander Beroya and his platoon of 25 would meet no resistance as they kept a tightly locked formation. Though no direct evidence could be found of the fate of the Victor's crew, morbid clues littered their short trip to the bridge. Bloodstains, foul-smelling, clear slime pooling in various places, and discarded weapons with empty clips were discovered.
Upon arriving at the bridge, they would see that the door to the bridge had been sealed tight. The manual release was disabled, and it seemed no amount of clearance would break through the administrative lockdown.
Then, 3rd Platoon sent a message across all comms.
"Sir, there's Imperial Navy Guardsmen just sort of...standing around in the engineering bay. They aren't responding to orders...permission to detain for que-"
The feed cut. Any attempts to communicate with them would result in nothing but silence.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

2nd Platoon slipped through into the massive cargo hold, greeted by the sound of shambling feet and the odd blaster bolt streaking out, seemingly in random places.

Gunnery Sergeant Kasvel, 2nd Platoon's commanding officer, was intrigued more than anything. The blaster bolts being fired were entirely random, disjointed, and judging by the bolts hitting the ceiling, completely without aim. It was strange bullshit. But it was bullshit the decorated Duro was going to have to deal with.

"Active shooters in cargo bay, engaging to neutralize threat" he muttered into his comm quietly, before making hand gestures to the 24 men under his command. They would soon be filtering through the various, rank corridors in pairs, while the recon division prepared grappling hooks to climb up on top of the cargo boxes stacked high, attempting to get a better view of the situation.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh shit!" Nak yelped as he was saved by the Cathar Jedi, pulling away from the undead creature, horrified. It was just like in the Holovid movies...zombies. They were totally real. Somehow these kriffing things were totally kriffing real and his kriffing brains almost got kriffing eaten by one.
"Kal, I think we gotta split!" Nak said loudly, immediately following the Knight's instructions as he leapt back up to the top.
At least, he tried to.
The once-living creatures, freighter crewmen by the looks of them, that had followed Kal up to the top of the crates were now looking down upon them. And in one of their tightly clenched hands, seemingly struggling against rigor mortis with all of its might, was a pistol.
It fired upon Nak as he leapt upwards.
His reflexes were keen enough and the zombie was a bad enough shot that he barely avoided it, realizing he'd be needing his lightsaber. However, there was no way he'd be able to cut through these things...they had the high ground. And it seemed the way to the main walkway at the center of the cargo bay was being blocked off by yet more of these undead abominations, two of them firing wildly into the chasm with horrid abandon, sightless eyes piercing the Jedis' souls.
If Nak had any time to stop and think as he activated his lightsaber to protect himself from the bolts, fleeing deeper into the slimy, slippery maze of cargo containers whilst looking for a safe place to ascend back to the top of the cargo hold, he'd notice that their aim was getting significantly better the more they shot.
One thing was clear; this was going to get damned dangerous pretty fast.
Zaren felt the residual adrenaline still coursing through his veins. He was more alert than ever, and the metal crashing sound down the hall seemed like the footfall of a 100ft tall giant. Saber still ignited from the previous encounter, Zaren stepped over the jerking creature's body carefully, and tentatively advanced towards the forced open doorway. This was no breaching tool or explosive; there were no blast marks. The Mandalorian approached the entrance and hesitated for a second around the corner. Then he sprang out into the open.
Before him there was a toppled over inventory droid, sprawled out on the floor. It wasn't moving. Not even attempting to stand. It was out of power, Zaren realised. That's why it just toppled like that and made the racket. The Jedi almost relaxed, before he recalled the dried bloody trail leading into the same room. He realised it led to the darkest corner, where Zaren's vision was completely obscured. Holding his lightsaber over in that direction, Zaren cast an illuminating white light over a cloaked, hooded, lifeless body. Then he noticed the lightsaber beside the corpse. A Sith warrior.
It was at this moment that the true horror of the situation hit the warrior Knight. If they could overpower a Sith force user, these monsters were even more hazardous than he gave them credit for. His other two Jedi companions were in grave danger, and Zaren had to warn them. Equipping himself with the weapon of his fallen enemy, the Jedi exited the room back into the hallway only to be confronted by a small group of Imperial soldiers. Zaren froze.
The light saber blade swirled around the Cathar Jedi. with a quick push Kal Nar was air born landing on the Box containers near the top. Moving his light saber in a defensive pattern. With his other hand he summoned his old masters light saber in to his empty hand. kal Nar started to move both light sabers in to a vortex of light blocking the incoming Blaster fire from the zombie like crew members. He looked over to were the ships where and saw more movement but it was no the crew members the thought it look like troops. He knew this would look bad he was fighting off the crew members. he could only hope they knew the crew was dead.
