PERSONALITY: Drex was, for the most part, a very joyful person before his turn. Even though he had slight anger issues, he only got really angry every few months. But despite what everyone thought of him, he was the type of guy who liked to just walk around, away from all the distractions or just lie down somewhere where he wouldn't be bothered and relax. Whenever he could get angry, or feel some other strong emotion, he would try to suppress them, as he was taught, but that just led anger boiling inside of him that would erupt once he couldn't contain it anymore. This was something he disliked about himself, because he felt as though he failed those around him when he did it, and he strongly disliked failing, especially around the girl he loved. Even though he was told to not love, he couldn't help it when it came to her. He's a passionate person, even now, and is willing to do anything for those he cares about and for what he wants, no matter the cost.
BIOGRAPHY:
Drex hadn't always had a thirst for power. He had been born to a humble, loving couple who lived on the planet of Corellia. At the age of eight, however, it was discovered that he was force sensitive. Thinking that it would be best for Drex, his parents sent him to be trained by the Jedi so he could learn their ways. He would spend the next twelve years learning their code, training with a lightsaber, and learning how to use the force.

During his time at the Jedi temple, he made two very important friends. Daniel and Elise Ralcom. They were brother and sister who were three years apart, and had both found out they were force sensitive at the same time. Daniel had been five and Elise two. When they had met Drex, he was nine, Daniel was eleven, and Elise was eight. Throughout their years at the Jedi temple they trained together and grew very close. As Padawans, they all learned how to fly starfighters, and Elise was by far the best out of the three, with Drex being the worst but he was still capable. Daniel was most skilled with a lightsaber and Drex had envied him for it, even though he had learned to supress his emotions, he couldn't help it. But Drex was easily the strongest with the force out of the three. But he hadn't known it for a long time, not until he was nineteen.

One day, Drex and Daniel had been sparring like normal and Drex was bested once again, though this time he had almost beaten Daniel. Drex returned to his room, lashing out in anger at his belongings, trashing it completely. News of the incident spread and he was chastised for letting his anger get the best of him. He later talked with Elise while they had been taking a break from one of their strolls a good thirty minutes away from the temple, looking out at the sunset. They spoke about his emotions and how hard it was to suppress them, including his feelings for her. It was the first time he had told her, but both knew for a while that Drex was in love with her. They shared their first kiss as the sun set, but Elise pulled away and shook her head, telling him that she couldn't do this, saying she couldn't have any distractions and left him. He sat there for while, his fists balled in anger, looking down, trying to suppress his feelings so he didn't cry, so he didn't feel weak.

Drex ended up leaving after a few minutes, going back to the temple. Every day was agonizing, because he had to see Elise. Eventually he took a mission to the Outer Rim, so he wouldn't have to see her for a while. On one of the Outer Rim planets, he was soul searching when he encountered a man in a black robe with the hood up. The man revealed himself to be with the Sith Order, and had been using force stealth to stay under the radar of any Jedi that would be coming through, but he had sensed something in Drex. He almost ran immediately, having been taught that the Sith were evil people who would kill any Jedi on sight, but was coaxed into listening when the Sith told him that with his order, Drex wouldn't be told to suppress his emotions, but would rather be encouraged to use them to his advantage. Drex was promised glory, honor, the ability to fight for what he actually cared about, and could give in to his emotions. However, the Sith gave Drex a test. He would have to kill Daniel and either seduce Elise to the Dark side, or kill her as well. Drex was more than happy to oblige when it came to killing Daniel. Over the past few months, his envy for Daniel's skill made him want to prove he was more powerful, and now he could prove to everyone that not only was he more powerful than Daniel, but that not suppressing his emotions had been holding him back. It wasn't an easy decision for Elise, but Drex was sure he could convince her to go with him, so he agreed and was given a location to meet the man at and was given a black robe like the one the man was wearing and was told to keep it for when he made his escape so he could slip into the shadows.

Drex returned to the temple, and waited for a good opportunity before he asked Daniel and Elise to meet him at the same spot, but at two different times, thirty minutes apart. He arrived much earlier, a bag with provisions and his folded robe inside. When he got there, he changed into the black robe and tossed his old one on the ground. He waited for the first meeting time, which was for Daniel, and he showed up right on time. Daniel immediately knew something was wrong when he saw Drex in his new robe, and they talked for a few minutes before Drex took his blue lightsaber out and turned the weapon on, telling his old friend that he wouldn't be leaving alive. Daniel took his green lightsaber out and the two fought there for what seemed like a century to both. However, it was only ten minutes before Drex had found an opening. He tripped Daniel and had him on the ground, pointing his lightsaber at his neck. Drex knew something was wrong...he had never beaten Daniel in a fight. What he didn't realize was that Daniel was holding back, not wanting to kill his best friend, but Drex was convinced it was purely from the fact that he had turned to the dark side. He slashed down, going for the killing blow, but before his weapon hit Daniel it collided with another blue lightsaber. He looked to his right and saw Elise, with a a horrifed look on her face. Behind her were flowers, dropped on the ground. She had gotten there early to surprise Drex, and had been ready to embrace her feelings despite what she had said before. But this had changed things. Drex shoved her back angrily and stabbed down into Daniel's stomach, causing him to yell in agony and Elise to yell in grief. Drex back off, his lightsaber turning off as Elise ran to her brother and watched the light fade from his eyes. Drex told her about his turning, how he had already thought he was more powerful than Daniel. He urged her to join him, and they could both be together, both becoming so much more powerful and unlocking their true potential, what Drex thought couldn't possibly be done with the Jedi. Drex told her he loved her and that he didn't want to have to kill her, and did his best to convince her to join him. But when Elise turned around, she saw a monster, not the man she loved. The two proceeded to fight, Elise using her hatred, despite the Jedi teachings and Drex held back slightly, but it was enough for him to be bested. Elise had now gotten him into the position he had once had Daniel in. She pointed her saber above his left eye and slashed diagonally to just past the right corner of his mouth, causing him to yell out in pain. Elise said she would leave him there, finding him pathetic, but as she turned to walk away, he stood up and rushed her, cutting her left arm off. She screamed and agony and he yelled at her, telling her they could have been together and that she ruined everything and that she was the pathetic one now and left her there. Later he told himself he did it because he was certain she would die...but deep down, he knew the real reason. He wasn't strong enough to kill her. He had meant the world to her, and he couldn't have killed her for any amount of power. But he denied it every time he thought about it, refusing to admit that to himself.

He ran to where he had been told to go by the Sith, and found a starfighter waiting for him. He got in and flew off, getting out of the planet as soon as he could and headed for Korriban, knowing that there was no turning back now...and not knowing that Elise and Daniel had just been found by the Jedi.

If you haven't already, you'll need to get permission from @Bauren for your character to have previously been part of the Jedi. Once that's done let me know!

A few points - Relationships and marriage are not forbidden in the Jedi. Though she might be against it just saying it isn't a rule in this time period. Another thing would be the Sith Recruiter at our temple? Seems a bit much. I'd rather see you meet a Sith while soul searching in the rim or something. Then he can come back and lash out at his friends, take a ship and fly to the Sith. Just don't see it being too reasonable to find a Sith poaching padawans :P

Overall I'm okay with it if the Sith will accept an ex-Jedi, just make those tiny changes.

Thanks for pointing that stuff out for me! I just kinda assumed relationships like that weren't allowed because of how it is in most things I've seen. I went ahead and fixed all the stuff about that and the sith, which in hindsight does seem pretty out there. I also kept things in there about him not wanting to suppress his emotions, because I assumed Jedi are still taught in this time period to suppress them, but if not I'll go ahead and edit that as well.

And my apologies for not asking for permission to make him an ex-Jedi. Didn't cross my mind that I should probably ask ^_^;
