Briefing: As you can probably guess, the Galactic Alliance will take whatever it can get from buying equipment from others. But credits and trusted sellers are few in number. This has caused the Rebellion to steal and plunder what it can from the Empire or Criminal organizations. For this mission, you are assigned to raid a shipment of refined and unrefined Durasteel. Of course refined would be preferred. There is a shipment currently heading to an Imperial construction yard on board 3-5 freighters, unfortunately, the freighters holding the refined and unrefined are unknown.

Prax was sitting in the gunners chair of the light laser cannon on the dorsal of his Nexus Class Freighter. The ship was being piloted by his 286 Series Pilot droid whom he had charmingly named 'Pilot'. No one said that rebels were original and that was certainly the case in this naming. Prax had never really owned a droid before so it seemed natural to him to name the droid after its function. He had heard of other people giving their droids cute nicknames but that simply was not Prax. He had no time for such nonsense. It was a tool and nothing more.

According to Pilot, he was at the correct coordinates for his rendezvous with another rebel. He did not know this person so that made him instantly suspicious. Vu'thari had told him he needed to work on his trust issues so he had grudgingly accepted the mission when presented with it by his mentor. It was work that he had done before, stealing was a way of life in the slave pens. In many instances, if you did not steal then you did not eat. That being said he had not stolen anything of this size or value before.

Prax waited casually for the other ship to arrive but with one eye on the clock. He knew what time their quarry would be coming this way and he did not want to miss their chance to ambush the shipment.

So Dev was in his own ship. Two years have passed since he was piloting a vessel, but the feeling was still great. SP2 Stardancer wasn't as big which one Dev has been co-piloting, but the starfighter was fully his property. And despite the fact, that the Amaran was an experienced shooter, the floof started to think that the piloting is what he actually brings him real joy, the thing where he might be actually good. The ability to fly where you want and do it for the good of people you working on is now Kyrrex's main idea and the primary activity for the future several years. He truly believes that he might become a good pilot just as good as the sniper. At the end of the day, it was Amaran's nature - be always at traveling. Kyrrex wasn't a beast charmer, but their love of space travels was in his blood. This mission has required the skill which was his the best in the past on Nar Shaddaa, though. Dev was still a professional thief and knew how to rob people, even though he didn't for a long time. Moreover, together with another Rebel which supposed to be a partner for the mission, they're about to rob the Imperials. Kyrrex was extremely glad.

"Prax, do you hear me? This is Dev, your partner for this mission. Are you ready?". Pronounced Deadeye over the comlink channel once he had exited from the hyperspace tunnel. Furthermore, the red Amaran has arrived just in time what has been untypical for his these days. After some celebrations on Naboo, his biorhythm has slightly shifted and mornings were his nightmare now. Laziness and the feeling of having a good sleep have lowered of his discipline for a bit. Luckily, today he managed to wake up without any issues in order to arrive on the mission on time.

Prax heard the call over the comms from his partner. The voice on the other end of the line sounded professional and that was promising. The transponder signal from the other craft checked out so Prax sent his confirmation and activated his comms. “I hear you Dev, payload is on Lorta and according to intel it hasn’t left yet. Our window is still open. I will see you on the surface at rendezvous point alpha.”

Prax tapped in the coordinates for the pilot droid and heard the engines come to life. He looked at the data pad on the console in front of him and thumbed through the facts about the planet that was their target. The planet was nothing special to Prax, it had the usual planetary amenities. The one that the shipment they wanted to jack was currently using was a refueling station on the largest continent. It appeared to have the usual security, local law enforcement mostly. The facility was not too large but large enough to service the three freighters that contained the payload they were interested in.

His ship broke the atmosphere and he landed on a pad on the other side of the refueling spot. This would allow easy access to the shipment when it landed to refuel. Prax set the pilot droid to leave in a hurry and took the remote start with him in a pocket. Quickly he tugged on his Ranger Scout Armor and grabbed his R5 Blaster and R5R rifle. The rifle went across his back and the blaster was holstered on his right leg. He had a small bandoleer of grenades slung across his shoulders and three separate vibro knives secreted over his body. He was as ready as he could be for this entire situation.

After Dev have received confirmation from his partner ensuring that there were no issues with communication, alongside with Prax the two has made their way to Lorta surface. The planet itself looked quite interesting and beautiful - almost whole its surface was covered with azure oceans. A really good place for people like Gungans, even though Dev didn't know which creatures inhabit the waters. The refuel station which was located across several small islands with a big one in the center - was the place where the real action will start soon. However, once Prax has landed, it was clear, that the pad was designed for only one ship like the human's Nexus, so Kyrrex was forced to choose another place to park his vessel. Luckily, the sought-for place wasn't really so far from the Prax's pod, yet the Rebels was a bit separated now and the couple needs somehow to meet each other and act together.

Once landed, Kyrrex grabbed his newly blasters putting them in holsters, scout armor and that is all he needed. Operating here on long ranges here was in a big doubt, the same was about using grenades, even though HH-69 has more utility usage. Still, its sense on the current mission also was questionable. Upon gearing up, Dev came out from his Stardancer and make sure there were no witnesses, made his way to the pile of duraplastic crates near the wall of a small domed tunnel which connects two pads. Perhaps, its purpose was transporting cargo from two pods to the central station, that one on the big island. But why it was domed? There was also some Imperial troops which the Amaran noted and it made Dev frowned a little. Now he needs Prax assistance in order to knock these guys. There is no need to raise alarm, so the two should be quiet as long as possible.

"Prax, I'm on the distance of one or two hundred meters from you, I have been forced to land on another pad. I'm just on another opposite side of the domed hall or tunnel, whatever. Can you distract them for a little? Oh, and try to find a crate, I got an idea". Watching over Imperial troops, stated Dev over the comlink. Then he noted a crate with the size which was enough to fit his body inside. The idea is going to be silly as hell and fully relies on Imperials attention because once being spotted, Kyrrex would probably in great danger. Still, the idea itself was brilliant and worth to try. So the foxy trickster has covered himself on a top with a crate and waited for Prax's confirmation.

Prax heard Dev call out his location. It was unfortunate that they had ben split up but Prax hoped they could use it to their advantage. He looked the direction that Dev had indicated and saw the Stardancer he knew his fellow rebel was piloting. He was about to start in that direction when Dev asked for a distraction and a crate of all things. He wasn’t sure what the fox was up to, but he had no doubt that he would live up to his namesake. He looked around for a crate and found one as he also got an idea.

Prax grabbed a second crate and filled it with some old rags and other debris from the fuel station janitorial closet. He took the crate and set the small collection of articles on fire before putting the crate in a place where the fire would not spread. Looking at the fire, he had purposely put items in there that would cause a lot of smoke but very little flame. He then closed the door to the janitorial closet and pulled the fire alarm just outside before heading to his partner crate over his shoulder.

Prax was heading the opposite direction from the fire and this made it easier to move along unseen. In a fuel station, the word fire is a polarizing one, no one likes to get blow up it seems. Prax was able to get through the rushing guards and personnel rather quickly as several ships actually took off to avoid the possible fire. Luckily none of them were their target ships and Prax signaled Dev, “One diversion, as requested, you have a few minutes so I would get moving.”

Once Prax has performed his role as Dev expected, the Amaran has started slowly moving against the nearest wall with a box on top of him. Through a small gap in the box, the fox has clearly seen as local stuff started to scurry here and there, probably in order to find a source of the fire and eliminate the threat. And considering the "super" Dev's cloaking, the trickster was pretty safe because who can pay attention to a box which is almost the same as dozen here? Surely, self-moving box would cause suspicious toward the object, but as Kyrrex might see no one really cares about everything was near the wall where the tailed rebel was residing now, so he was free in his actions for a little, thanks to Prax. Still, the question about finding a ship with needed cargo was in charge. Nor Dev, nor Prax wasn't aware how the ships which they're looking could look like, all they knew is their targets were here. The station has not too many landing pads, yet the distance between them and the fact that Dev wanted to hide his presence until he got the location of the searching ships was making it a bit difficult. However, the solution has come from a less expected way.

There was some sort of transport which was transporting different type of goods between the place where Prax and Dev were now and the central hub or station. Probably, if Dev gets there now, it might be easier to locate the necessary ship and then inspect pads, at least for a little. So Kyrrex fitted himself into the place (sort of a platform) where cargoes needed to be delivered by a means of transport and once the transport has come to pick what's needed to transport, alongside with a bunch of boxes with different content, has been transferred to the central building. It was in three times bigger than the building behind Dev's back, but what was making the Kyrrex frowned - there was no identification signs at all. As the foxy trickster know, Imperial facilities usually have identification, but this station doesn't. Either, Dev hasn't seen them yet or this facility actually belonged to pirates, so these guys in the Imperial armor was simply buccaneers in the disguise. There was no time to think about that, but without Prax, Kyrrex couldn't advance further in fear of left Dek alone. Ain't friendly deed.

"Prax, I'm in the central building. Waiting for you here and then... I guess we have to try our luck." Still remaining under his box said Kyrrex over the comlink channel but with a number of people here, it could be useless just because a ranger scout armor probably won't cause too much suspicious. Moreover, the red Amaran has noted as crates full of durasteel were moving in the direction of a landing pad, so the location of one of the searching ship is now known. So once Prax would make his way here, Rebels might try to take over the ships and hopefully, the needed ones.

Prax heard his partner call that he was basically stuck in the center hub and didn’t know which ships to go to. Prax frowned and made his way between the various emergency personnel running towards the fire. Suddenly he saw three men in Imperial Uniforms running in his direction. He did not know if they were coming after him or running to the fire, but he couldn’t take the chance. With a quick decision, he dove through the open ramp of a cargo ship. The ship was a tad too close to the fire for the crews liking apparently and they had abandoned ship.

Prax made his way to the cargo hold, trying to stay out of sight. The three Imperials had apparently not been after him, but they were still in the area. In the cargo hold, Prax looked over the crates he found there and low and behold, durasteel. This was the refined stuff, the good stuff. Quickly Prax ran back to the ramp and looked out at the markings on the ship. It said ACME Mining and Refining on the side of the ship. The ship he was on was parked in berth eight, and he could see two more ships with the same markings in berth nine and ten.

Prax was very excited as he activated his commlink to communicate with his partner Dev. “Dev, the ships say ACME Mining and Refining on the side of them. I am in one of the ships, it is in berth eight. Make your way to berth nine or ten and grab one of the other ships. Be careful, there are Imps all over the place out there.”

With that said, Prax settled into the ramp, as if watching the fire crews work on the fire. It could take them a while to handle the fire, hopefully long enough for Prax and Dev to make off with the goods. Looking at the other ships, Prax noticed that both of them still had crew on them. It looked to be roughly seven crew spread between the other two ships. Prax activated his commlink again, “Dev, there will be company once you get in. Head for berth eight, there only appear to be three bad guys in it.” Prax pulled his R5 pistol and checked the action quickly before stepping out onto the tarmac. If he timed this right, he should hopefully get to the ship about the same time as Dev and they could fight the crew together.

"Roger". Simply replied the vulpine rebel, haven't realized yet how risky Prax request was. Instead, he was concerned if jumping out of his improvised shell has a sense since an unknown person with the tail at Imperial base without any identification signs would turn full attention upon him and probably the guards would open fire because Dev won't stop. Besides, he was an Amaran and species like him in the Imperial army is a pretty rare occurrence so a conversation wouldn't have any sense. Dev was always curious why the Imperial army has only humans because other species have interesting advantages which humans don't. Maybe if he didn't have a tail there was a small possibility that Kyrrex could make their way to the asked ship with no troubles, but he was sure that during the chaos which was caused with a nice performed Prax' sabotage, no one would note him. However, he was wrong, deadly wrong.

Once Dev made sure, that the central hub has had the minimal amount of people, he jumped out of his box and rushed to the berth eight as Prax demanded and almost did it but being spotted by the local guards which opened fire right into the fox. Unfortunately, they hit him into the left leg and the tailed rebel fell on the ground. What's even worse - the noise from blasters shots would surely attract the rest of refuel station security team and quite soon they come here. And thus a couple of the Galactic Alliance operatives is now in big trouble. Even though the Amaran wasn't critically wounded thanks to his Ranger Scout armor, the discomfort caused by the shot prevents Kyrrex from providing adequate assistance to Prax with the ship crew and perhaps, they now have to steal only the single ship because Dev who needs some time to recover from being shot.

"Sorry, pal, but I guess you have to deal with the ship crew on your own. With my wound, I'll be only the hindrance but anyway, I'll try to hold anyone who will come after us from the front entrance of the central station.". Said Deadeye through his teeth once he was able to reach his partner and had taken cover behind the wall. The position has been providing a good opportunity for a backfire, however, Kyrrex couldn't reply back to the people who had shot him because of the wall behind which he was. Chances are, that if they took to attempt to shift little further, Dev could try to take them down but for now, he simply fished out blasters from his holsters and prepared to provide a cover for Prax until the pain from the wound couldn't get lower.

Well the fox was out of the bag so to speak. Prax saw that the Vulpine was down, being shot in the leg was a painful way to lose your mobility. He heard the other rebel give his status and he ran to help as best he could. He raised his R5R rifle and took aim as he ran, pausing every few feet to fire a shot at the oncoming guards. He spotted the first as it raised up from the top of the target ship to fire at Dev again. Apparently the wanted to finish the job that the first bolt had started. Prax prompted paused, slowed his heart rate and centered himself all in one movement. Those lessons with Jedi Master Vu’thari had paid off as he promptly shot the man in the head.

Not even waiting to see the corpse fall from the top of the ship, he continued to advance. Two guards ran out of the ship to charge towards Dev, these guys were a bunch of vultures. They charged at a hurt enemy instead of paying attention to the live and shooting one charging at them. Prax fired from the hip, spraying three shots at the pair as they advanced on Dev. Two of the three shots hit the left guard, cartwheeling him to the ground and the third shot dropped the other guard, most of his chest smoking.

By this time Prax at Dev, helping his partner to his feet and then onto Prax’s back. “Ill get you on the ship and clear it, you take off.” Looking like something out of a poorly made movie, Prax charged into the ship with the fox on his back using his shoulder to aim at anyone who got in their way.
