Biography of Ussej Padric Bac II

<div align="center">-------------------------------------------</div>

Two weeks had went by since Laili's Rose had left Kal'Shabbol, headed for the small Onderonian moon of Dxun. Never would the Bendu Priest have imagined that he would come to a Republic world, though fate stepped to see that it happened. Piloting the sleek silver starship down to the planets surface, he turned to his beloved wife and admired her beauty. The past two weeks gave them an opportunity to gain a deeper appreciate for each other, as they were only in each other's company, and it had done wonders for their relationship. Like his father before him, he knew that he had found a woman he could leave even when destiny decided to end their lives.

"We're coming up on the landing zone," Bara told him. She stroked the controls, bringing up the image of the small, open area of the forest on Ussej's scanner.

Ussej turned back to the window of the vessel, pulling back onto the control to avoid coming in too hot. "Ten thousand kilometers....prepare for landing." Moments later, the vessel landed in an open area of the jungle. The Bendu Priest moved to the back of the ship, opening a storage locker. He pulled out two belts, and began attaching supplies to it. Lightsabers, food parcels, stun grenades and his trusted ancient sword....it was all the equipment that they needed to survive on a small, jungle moon. He attached the same equipment, minus the sword and the lightsaber, to Bara's belt and hooked a blaster rifle onto it where a lightsaber would have been. He threw her belt to her, quickly attaching his own to his waist. He opened the hatch on the vessel to find a rain storm falling down upon them. He threw his cloak over his shoulder, covering his head, while Bara quickly dressed into a jacket and a warmer shirt. Ussej stepped down, landing in a pile of mud.

"These Mandalorians have such wonderful taste," he said jokingly. He helped Bara out of the shuttle, trying to avoid having her step in the large mud puddle at the base of the ship as much as possible. When they were clear, he looked up and scanned the area with his eyes. Despite being temperate and habitable, the jungles of Dxun posed a major challenge for all who wished to survive there. Because of the constant rain and wet climate, Ussej knew he wouldn't be able to use his scanner long without having to repair it. Because of the dangerous predators that lived in the area, were it not for his sword they would have no chance of surival. He pulled out his scanner, covering it as best he could with his robes. He pointed north, wiping the rain off of the screen.

"This way," he said as they began walking off in the direction of the artifact. The Council of Priests worried that this would be a dangerous mission, though he had yet to find any danger within this seemingly uninhabited area of the jungles.
