The halls of the Uephreli Weziwula Cathedral glistened in the horizon. The majestic web of golden monolithic towers split the heaven in two, casting a shadow upon the community that surrounded it, a cocoon of houses and streets. Among giants called skyscrappers, the Uephreli Weziwula stood in excel. Jewels embedded in the architecture bounced rays of light playfully around the cathedral.

Returning those beams back in a game of radiant tag was the reflective face of Geist Weiss, Dark Lord of the Sith, Lord of House Weiss, Regent of the New Sith Imperium, and Emperor of the Koros system, the last of which the cathedral lay dominion in, specifically the planet Empress Teta. Geist had been to the Uephreli Weziwula Cathedral once before, during the wedding between Caye Es Cade and his wife-to-be. Despite the impressive tropaion being a very important Nirvanism site and a galactic wonder, Geist hadn't stepped in the halls he was about to enter since had been little. The reason was clear, to him. The Uephreli Weziwula Cathedral was a place sacred to marriage, where vows were exchanged. When he had visited the cathedral to attend the Es Cade wedding, he had marveled the architecture it employed, and hoped he could visit once more. Now as a man, he was visiting the cathedral once more. However, this time he was not attending someone else's wedding. Today, he was presiding over it. As a noble lord, he was ordained.

The architecture was a reflection of a love between two Sith. A warrior and an assassin, one would expect their expertise to clash against one another, bitter tension. However, they managed to make it work and build something beautiful. Never had he expected love to propagate between Audroti and Satoryu, but here they were. The two were the latest additions to the Dark Council, along with Ebberla Daw. They had not yet adopted a Darth name yet, but Geist had decided to go a theatric route and christen them with new names during the wedding, to symbolize that not only are they vowing to be together, but are shedding their old lives for a new one. A few names had deluged his brain. Satoryu was an obvious choice. Darth Ryuu. The word heralded from her homeworld's native tongue. Audroti was another case. Several names appeared in his mind, including Darth Deimos and Darth Apeiron. Ultimately, though, he had chosen Darth Kovo. Well, chosen was a harsh choice. The empress had somewhat forced her opinion on him ("I am not having a Darth Ape Iron on this council."). She was probably right. It was not a name worthy of fear.

Darth Somnus was alone at first, but not for long. As he waited in the abandoned chamber, he could sense the others arriving. The ceremony, while publicized, was open to only a few. In particular, it was sequestered to only the Dark Council. Standing in the dias, the Dark Lord awaited for the bride and groom, along with the esteemed guests.

The Uephreli Weziwula Cathedral, a most peculiar structure in Sin'ryk's mind; where he came from, the universe itself was the place of worship, never to be confined to a single place. It was something the High Arcanist found odd...but compared to the grand scheme of things, it was ultimately meaningless. He had shown up to this place early, the better to avoid the crowds; whilst he did not mind them, he felt his own peculiar aura and near-demonic visage would terrify the masses...and it would have certainly taken the attention away from the bride and groom. A pang of hatred stirred within Sin'ryk; not for the groom, but for the demon Audroti would be taking to bed come the evening. Satoryu was the kind of Sith that history would teach one not to trust; a wild card that could pose a threat to all they had built. Such intense emotions could only be enhanced by her kinslaying...in particular an individual whom the Red Sith deeply cared. Yet that was a story for another time, it was this story he had to focus on. For this occasion, Sin'ryk had adorned himself in a surprisingly austere tribal robe that was hemmed only with fur. His crimson hair was worn free, reaching down towards the back of his knees; kept only in check by a thin golden circlet laced with diamonds that complimented the silver rings that adorned his cheek tendrils. Given the particular customs shared by the tribes of Yinchorr, Sin'ryk's feet were completely bare...nothing adorned them whatsoever.

Striding down the Cathedral's aisle, the Red Sith's arcane sight picked up on the presence of his former master, Darth Somnus. He nodded thusly to the Dark Lord, knowing full well he would need to focus on the coming ceremonies. He lamented that he could not see the structure's physical beauty...alas, he would have to make do with the collective presence of the other guests lighting the place. Taking a seat at the front, Sin'ryk simply waited; memories of his own engagement, one that had ended in sorrow in a time long passed.

Weddings. Glitzy and sappy. If not for the free food at the reception, and the fact that Rook actually liked Audroti and Satoryu, he would not be here. Rook strode across the floor of the cathedral with a name he could not pronounce. He briefly wondered at who had named the thing. He put that out of his mind and adjusted the two long, silk and velvet wrapped objects he carried under an arm. They were wedding presents. As he understood it, that was the usual custom, to give the bride and groom presents at their wedding. They were practical presents and made to suit Audroti and Sato respectively. He hoped they would appreciate them, a rare show of concern for what others thought of his actions.

Audroti and Satoryu were also to be on the Dark Council, a move Rook approved of, he had not cared at all that a non force sensitive had been granted a seat. Rook set the two packages on a low bench, tired of carrying them. Sin'ryk was sitting a bench over, but Rook made no effort to go over there. He simply nodded at the Sith and sat down next to the gifts, he had no wish to sit next to an adept poisoner dangerous enough to sit on the Council. Rook glanced up momentarily at the impressive vaulted dome above them. The people who built this might not have much in the naming department, but they at least knew how to make imposing structures. His eyes flicked back down as the next sith entered the room.

Andraste decided to put slightly more effort into her appearance than usual. Today she was adorned in an ornately woven black dress that bloomed out at her hips, the trail dragging behind her on the floor. The usual dark circles under her eyes were not visible today, her piercing golden eyes as inhuman as ever. Her lips were ruby red, a stark contrast to her ghastly white skin.Thick, black curls were neatly put together, framing her face and resting upon her back.

The Empress hadn’t attended a wedding outside of her own, and the thought brought back faint memories of her own day, of her marriage to Exodeus. That day, he had put together an amulet, pouring his energy into it and imbuing it with Sith magic. To this day, she did not understand its true purpose, and yet it hung around her neck even now. The woman quietly traced her finger along the amethyst gem.

Soft violins echoed around them, setting the ambiance for a wedding. Though they had a reputation for being ruthless, Sith did not lack culture entirely. The ornate draperies and flowers that decorated the already beautiful cathedral was a treat to behold. The faintest hint of a smile tugged at her lips as she all but glided towards the front of the seating, granting a polite nod to all those in presence.

She was not the center of attention here, as that honor was granted to the bride. Andraste glanced back down the aisle where the wedding party would arrive. She had an amused grin on her face, looking back at Geist, who looked as composed as always. Truth be told, she privately envied his ability to keep his cool under the worst pressures, better than she had ever mustered.

The silent animosity between the two others present did not go unnoticed by the Empress. She watched them quietly, pondering on the most recent incident involving a Sith Lord betraying them. She could only hope that their private rivalries wouldn’t rise to that extent.

At last, Andraste sighed and faced forward, casually counting down the minutes until she could find herself a glass of wine.

Ebb was surprised by the invitation she had received to attend. She had not known very many, only in brief meetings from her short time so far with the Sith, but she didn't want to pass up the opportunity. Such an occasion was unheard when she was with the Jedi, not that celebrations were frowned upon, but she felt in the recent years, the Order had lost sight of themselves, something she had personally battled herself. And in the constant struggle to stay on top, the war had ultimately torn them apart.

Though a bit hesitant to show other than being the new girl, she had still had yet to hear any word of the Empress' approval of her being on their Council. She heard rumors that the dark woman was going to be present, but as she had arrived, her senses told her otherwise as she could feel some of the galaxy's most powerful individuals present in the cathedral before she even entered. By the Force she prayed though, no idiot would try to ruin their celebration with a bombardment of missiles.

Other than the Empress and the Dark Lord, her senses picked up a concoction of, well best put to the Corellian woman, odd, but there was a comfort to it, something she knew existed, but never personally felt, as the beings around her carried on with a personal life outside the galactic turmoil that sat outside the cathedral doors. Ebb would admit she was impressed by the decor as she found her seat next to a Wookiee, whom she was certain she had met in battle. She straightened creases in her silky emerald green dress, a color traditionally worn by Corellians during celebrations such as the one she was present at now. Brushing back a curl from her up-do, she glanced at her neighbors, catching sight of the Empress near the front, along with the Dark Lord.

She looked up to the Wookiee and gave him a cocky-Corellian two-fingered salute and waited for the ceremony to begin.

While the others gathered were dressed finely in their best of attire, Audroti was not. The groom hadn’t come wear a tuxedo, nor a bright smile upon his face. In fact, those present wouldn’t sense anxiety or anticipation radiating from him; instead it was a simple yet uneasy stillness. Audroti pushed apart the doors to the inner sanctum of the Cathedral, garbed in his black Assailant-class armor but with a distinct lack of his respirator, the warrior seemed more prepared for a slaughter then he was to be wed.

The clear medical tubing was fed under his nose feeding pure oxygen up into his lungs through his nostrils, the small container was located on the back of his waistline, hidden underneath the thick rancor leather kama. Audroti hadn’t even bothered to patch over his horrendous facial scars before entering this “holy” place, instead he wore them plainly almost as if an open mockery or challenge to whatever “god” this place stood for. On his hips sat his twin lightsabers, a symbol of his undying campaign and relentless pursuit of war and conquest to all those that dared oppose him.

As he approached the altar of the cathedral he paused and turned to gaze at the small gathering that had formed in honor of Satoryu’s and his union. He was certain this was not what they had expected, a cold man entering the cathedral to put on some charade. While this had been his idea, it wasn’t one born from genuine emotions towards the bride rather it was the opposite. Audroti knew that he would soon be resting in the public eye and that if he didn’t have some semblance of normalcy that the general population of the Imperium would see him for what he truly was, a monster. Aside from that, Audroti wanted access to what Satoryu had been promised, he wanted to be able to dip his fingers into her sphere of influence and manipulate events within it towards his own agenda. To him, this was nothing more than a political union, in his eyes Satoryu was just another thing that belonged to him, she was his possession.

With that Audroti gave a halfhearted and his own attempt at a warm smile. Given this came out as more of a bestial grin from a fanged predator but it was the best he could muster. Audroti gazed over his peers and superiors once more, his golden eyes filled with anticipation and hunger but not for his bride but for the war against their enemies he would soon launch. He recognized almost every being present; they all sat perched on their pews, garbed in their fineries.

Audroti’s eyes first fixated on Sin’ryk, the only other Pureblood present at the ceremony, he was a poisoner and an arcanist, one that Audroti had found philosophical differences with countless times in the past. Next there was Rookwrr, a Wookie that Audroti had taught when he was only a freshly minted Crusader, and he had grown into a staunch and proud warrior. After him, Audroti gazed onward at Ebberla Daw, the former Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, once a hated enemy turned valued ally, he had been present when she gave the order to destroy a piece of her former self and through that action bound herself to the darkness forevermore. Then finally he gazed at the Empress herself, Andraste. Audroti’s golden eyes would peer into her’s unflinchingly, almost as if he was communing with the darkness that filled up what was once an empty void within her.

It was only towards her that Audroti took a single action while facing the crowd, his head tipped, a small gesture of respect or perhaps admiration towards her. If she was truly the Empress of Death the Galaxy claimed her to be, then Audroti was her terrible scythe. Her wishes were his commands; if she wished systems to be annihilated he considered it his privilege to bathe them in fire.

Then finally, Audroti turned back around to face Darth Somnus, Lord Weiss himself. Audroti dipped his head towards him as well but it was far more somber in feeling. The Sith Master had failed Somnus as many times as he had brought back news of victory to him. To Audroti this was less of a willing sign of respect as much as it was an Apprentice showing respect to his Master, it held a sense of tangible fear behind it.

“Thank you, my Lord.” Audroti whispered quietly to Somnus before rising his face to meet the man’s simmering mirrored mask.

First of His Name
Game of Thrones

-

Golden beams, extending towards the stars and lording over the titans who stood beneath them, crowned the hair of the bride, neatly style at the back of her head in a modest up-do. No bride's maids or flower girls were present to accompany her down the aisle, no bearer to carry her ring. She had no representatives, no father to give her away or family to witness her marriage. It was a journey Satoryu would make alone, as she had done so for fifteen years until this day. No longer would she spend her days in solitude, for she was his. It was a longing wish that had poisoned her mind for so long, one she had kept buried beneath her subconscious for almost a decade. A loneliness, so crippling, it had made her ill, one paired only by the fear she held of attachment. There was no love in her groom's eyes as they met hers, only the same cold gaze she had known for so many years. It mattered not to Satoryu. She did not require Audroti's love, only Audroti himself.

Fifteen years, sinking slowly. As a young girl, Satoryu had been an accomplished martial artist and stealth master, never had she envisioned herself as a wife. Only recently had it occurred to her, that she had needed more than that life. If not truly a lover, she had become a creature representing something more to Audroti than just another Sith. If Satoryu had the chance to change her mind, she wouldn't have for the stars. To say she had done it for political reasons, she admitted, was hardly true. The reality was, Satoryu was truly and unabashedly attracted to Audroti, as every bit a lusted object as she was to him. It begged the question. Why? Because only through him had Satoryu consciously realized her own inner monster. He had taught her more about herself than anyone ever had, and she was thankful for that.

The train of the Sith Lady's champagne coloured gown caressed the marble floor and trailed with every subtle nuances of her floating steps. A white flower sat in her low-sitting hairstyle. Neat, black eye-liner circled her intense brown irises accompanied by deep red lipstick, which stood in charming contrast to the dress. They all stood before her, Sith she had all met at least once through her journey up the hierarchy. Smiles flashed before her own melancholy gaze. Smiles Satoryu did not return. The odd one out was Ebberla Daw, a figure of the wider galactic saga whose path she had never crossed in her days as a young Assassin. Authority and raw power radiated from the Empress, clad in her elaborate royal gown. They had met once before, Andraste and Satoryu, on her first day as a Crusader in the city of Dreshdae.

Then there was Sin'ryk. Satoryu only half-heartedly attempted to shield her inner revulsion for the High Arcanist, who had lay with her own inbred step-sister. Nor did Maleficar seem to bury the anger he still harboured for Satoryu's cold-blooded murder of Satsuki at the fateful Battle of Naboo. Moving with feline poise and weightless strides, the bride took her place beside Audroti before the Dark Lord, Geist Weiss. Her eyes momentarily scanned Rookwrr, as she shielded her annoyance at allowing Audroti to invite a Wookiee to her wedding. Dimples etched into her cheeks in a legitimate smile, it delighted her that her fiancée had opted to wear his armour rather than a tuxedo. Satoryu would have not rather seen him wearing anything else. Standing beside him, Satoryu allowed her hand to gently grace the surface of Audroti's own, offering him to take it if he so desired.

"Thankyou for this day, Jen'ari."

The tension in the room could be cut with a lightsaber. When Darth Somnus had devised his new Dark Council, he had pooled from those he could trust, whether emphatically or logically. After all, his last Dark Council had turned on him. Darth Horkos had tried to kill him. Darths Zlogonje and Lukavy had turned traitor. And then there was Eris. Eris was a woman he thought had potential to become one of the greatest Sith spymasters to ever live, to incarnate deceit itself. However, the one ultimately deceived was not his enemies, but himself. She had betrayed him and destroyed what he had helped build over the decades.

The new council held a different problem: they knew each other. For better or for worse. Ebberla Daw, once Jedi Grandmaster, was the person he expected to propagate the most strain with. However, it appeared Darth Maleficar and Satoryu held deeper grudges than he realized; he'd have to ask Maleficar later about that. Privately he found Audroti's attire of armor amusing, though couldn't exactly complain, since he always wore armor too, albeit hidden under his illusion of a vestment of a blue suit.

As the bride approached, Geist let his eyes invisibly scan Andraste. The empress appeared to be in a good mood. That was always excellent news. The last time bad news had been fed into her ears, she had laid waste to the reporters and almost killed him. He still wore the scars of that incident, veiled by his illusions. The healing intervention of Seamus Moidin had allowed his injuries to heal faster than usual. Though the Dark Lord forced himself to radiate impassiveness and composed, even though deep down he still felt a nervousness being around Andraste. He already hypothesized that it was possibly some latent post-traumatic stress disorder, not that he'd ever go to a psychologist and seek a confirmation. Regardless, he couldn't allow himself to be distracted by fear. Instead, he had a task to perform.

Right before the bride reached earshot, he whispered, "Words are meaningless." Distracted by rehearsing his lines inside his head, he might have reconsidered his word choice. His intent was to signal that no apologies for necessary, as his body language suggested slight residue of shame; hopefully regarding his recent failures and not regarding his choice of bride.

Clearing his throat, Darth Somnus imparted an introduction. "Ladies, gentlemen, you are the pinnacle of Sith power. Through crucible and prowl, you have risen where few rise, and fewer maintain." Or deserve, Geist thought, his mind wandering to Eris. "Each and every one of us rule and lead by example. We command legions and inspire billions. Today, we inspire through another avenue. We invoke humanity. A tradition that has been around since the dawn of the Sith. I am of course referring to marriage. We are gathered here for the matrimonial union of Satoryu and Audroti. Their marriage today is the public and legal joining of their souls that have already been united as one in heart. For love is its own form of passion." Addressing the bride and groom together, he continued, "Passion is the fuel of the Sith. Ambition. Lust. Hatred. All are aspects of passion, used to command the Dark Side and bring order to the galaxy. From this day forth, the two of you will feed the other a new form of passion to empower you. Love. Your love for each other will make you stronger. Some say for a relationship to be successful, you need strength, courage, and patience; and maybe a good sense of humor." Bad humor aside, he added, "All are aspects the two standing here have demonstrated, both to each other and the Sith Order, and shall strive to improve themselves and the Sith Order they serve. As such, upon the sanctification of this union, they shall shed their old selves in favor of new lives, lives to each other and to the Sith Order. Satoryu and Audroti they shall be no more. Rather they will be known as Darth Ryuu and Darth Kova."

Geist faced the couple once more. "Darth Ryuu, Darth Kova, you have faced many challenges over the years. You have seen death and glory. Rose in power. Fought on battlefields. Now you enter a new battlefield, relationships. Everyone preaches to strive for a healthy, perfect relationship. I say that is a lie. All relationships are imperfect. There will be times your patience will be tested. Vexations drawn. But that is what a relationship is: to work past them. Marriage is a precious gift not because of what you can do for love, but what love does for both of you. It will make you a better person. You will continually be tested, and be better for it after each and every trial."

The Dark Lord took a step back so that he was no longer between Ryuu and Kova. "Please turn to one another. Normally one would ask that the two of you to look into each other's eyes, for the eyes are the road to the soul. Utter non-sense. The eyes are deceptive, showing you forms that may be false." His appearance testament to that. "Rather, see not with your eyes, but through the Force. See them in the raw pure form that they are."

Darth Somnus turned to address Darth Ryuu directly. "Darth Kova, does this woman, in understanding and honor, take you to be her lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, to remain by your side through the trials and the glory?" Silence fell as the Sith Lord awaited Darth Kova's response.

Audroti knew of Satoryu’s approach before she even entered the cathedral. While he was merely familiar with many of those present and unique fingerprints in the Dark Side, Audroti knew Satoryu’s he had memorized every detail of it from over a decade of being around her. It would be Audroti’s golden eyes that were first pulled towards his bride before she even entered the antechamber where the ceremony was being held.

Audroti’s presence had been dull, flat, and unwavering before his eyes fell onto Satoryu then only for the briefest of moments it flickered to life with a burst of emotion before he snuffed that flickering flame of life from it. Despite this only being a political union in his eyes, Audroti had to admit his fiancée was beautiful. Instinctively Audroti reached out his prosthetic hand for her to take as she drew close to him, this coupled with his unwavering and unblinking stare could be considered the first sign of emotion he had ever truly shown Satoryu.

This show of uncharacteristically public affection was cut short by the whisper Darth Somnus uttered in response to the apology Audroti had offered him. The Pureblood’s eyes glanced around the room and remembered where he was in a room filled with potential rivals or allies, all of which had just seen a moment of weakness within him. A knot formed in Audroti’s stomach as he took Satoryu’s hand, his grip on her hand was gentle but as emotionless and cold as the steel she would grasp. In those words that Audroti had misconstrued from Somnus, any chance of true happiness, not a mere façade faded from all possibilities.

Before Audroti turned to face Darth Somnus he offered a small smile to Satoryu, one that almost seemed more apologetic then it did sincere. The soon to be Darth knew the future Satoryu was embracing by pairing herself to him for life, no matter the words used to bless this union it would be exactly as Somnus had stated, words are meaningless. Regardless of how Audroti felt about Satoryu in that singular moment, it would have to die, he hadn’t risen to such a level of prestige and power through allowing weakness to seep into his heart and he couldn’t afford to now. That singular display of emotion would be one of the very few genuine displays in their union and not only to protect Satoryu but himself as well.

Audroti’s eyes turned back to Somnus, but instead of being filled with hope and life as the congregation had seen mere moments before, they were dead. Twin golden pools completely void of emotion, hope, and love instead they were far emptier then they had ever been before. Audroti’s presence shifted completely, taking on the sensation it normally held when he wasn’t holding it back nor masking it, he unleashed it for Satoryu to read as Somnus instructed them both to.

The holy ground all the Sith stood upon would take on a new aura as Audroti allowed his signature to be felt by most everyone present for the first time. The underlying aura was that of a conqueror, a warlord, a bloodthirsty creature waiting to be unleashed. The first sensation was the whispering screams of countless lost lives, in its wake was the scent of freshly spilled blood that steadily rolled through the room, and finally came the sensation of pure chaos like one would feel as a slaughter begins.

With his presence revealed in its fullest extent, Audroti closed his eyes and focused solely on Satoryu’s presence. It was there he felt the twisted darkness that nestled within her heart, it was a darkness he had helped fan to life throughout her years of attachment to him. But more importantly Audroti sensed her growing anxiety; she was excited by this singular moment, it made Audroti wonder if this had been her plan all along. However, Audroti pushed those thoughts aside, he had found the answer he sought, and he could answer Somnus without question or hesitation.

“Yes Darth Somnus, Satory-“ Audroti stopped himself catching himself from utilizing her old name. “-Darth Ryuu does take me to be her lawfully wedded husband.” He stated correcting his near mistake. “To remain by my side in sickness and health, through trials and triumph.”

Delicate, pallid fingers extended forth and were placed into the cybernetic hand before them. Cold to the touch, the sensation was paired with Audroti's steely gaze. Though as she drew near the groom's bio-luminescent stare, something in his visage shifted. A pang of fleeting affection suddenly struck his aura, and Satoryu's red lips subtly parted upon it's receive. Instinctively, she wrapped her hand tightly around Audroti's own and moved in by his side. The icy touch of his grasp triggered prompt memories of his hand gently shifting the hair from Satoryu's face when she had been a young Crusader. As Darth Somnus stammered his accidental words, the sudden warmth in Audroti's presence once more turned to ice.

Somnus continued his characteristic theatrics, and Satoryu stood by her groom, almost dreamlike in a melancholy trance. Her brown eyes appeared to gloss over, like those of a doll. Indeed, words were meaningless. All the romantic tropes and glamorized space operas could not disguise the galaxy for what it was really like, for what the Sith were really like. Love, as much as peace, was a lie, propaganda, fiction, pomp and circumstance. Satoryu knew more than anybody else how Audroti thought. He regarded himself as a war deity, a titan with no equal, and his consort did well to exploit that. If her General wished for Satoryu to be coy, than so be it, he would continue to underestimate her.

The Force Presence of the new Warmaster flooded the room. Satoryu had always compared Audroti to a supernova, a furious, blatant force of pure destruction. It was an aura she relished in every time she stood in his presence. She bathed in it and lusted for it. His violence, his passion, his raw brutality and overt masculinity. If Audroti embodied the kind of force to destroy a star, Satoryu was the aftermath. Her hands placed in his, she looked Audroti in the eye and allowed her own aura to seep unbound. It was a draining, still silence, a black, painful void sucked of all life. When the star had gone nova, only death would remain. Still nothingness, slowly seeping the saddened cries of a billion lost lives.

"Yes. Darth Kova does take me to be his lawfully wedded wife."

The words left Satoryu's lips as she gazed into the eyes of the Warmaster's. No single person in the galaxy understood her as well as he did, nor had anyone cared to. That was what Satoryu required. Affection and love were useless things to her, all she wanted was company who understood her, who truly desired her, who could share her own thoughts in common with theirs. In Audroti, she had found that. Another chain had been broken today, another victory attained. In Audroti's demure little trace of unabashed desire, Satoryu knew that he was hers.

"To remain by my side in sickness and in health, through trials and triumph."

As the two Sith declared that the other did, in fact, love them, Darth Somnus proceeded to the final segment of the ceremony. While the Dark Lord had some doubts on their vows, he remained silent, a quiet prayer that he was wrong. The Dark Lord broke into a speech about being faithful to one another and how their love was an inspiration to Sith and non-Sith everywhere. With ceremonious words complete, he finished with the sentence, "I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now ki-kiss your spouse." He had to catch him for a moment there, so close to saying kill instead. This church had enough bloodshed in its history.

Allowing the two Dark Councilors to concrete their bond with a kiss, Darth Somnus signalled for the cameras to focus on the bride and groom for a few seconds as lips were locked before the feeds were cut. The footage would be used by the Imperial Bureau of Information and would appear as a highlight in HoloNet broadcasts across the galaxy. Nodding to both Darth Kova and Darth Ryuu, he allowed the newly wed couple to depart the sanctuary and proceed to the heavily guarded Beskad shuttle Uxorious, that would transport them to Chateau Weiss, Darth Somnus' personal abode. His personal residence on the planet was already prepared for the less public after-party. Once they were gone, Darth Somnus made his way to the pew where Andraste sat. Bowing slightly, the Dark Lord offered his had to personally escort her to the second Beskad shuttle which would take the rest of the Dark Council and its lieges to Chateau Weiss. "Your majesty."
